This small neighbourhood park has plenty of sitting and large old trees. Although it is relatively narrower one can enjoy this little green space.

Note: Photos from fall 2022. This is a small but interesting park in the Golden Triangle neighbourhood. There are many beautiful trees and several benches where one can sit down. There is also a wide range of public art, from the poignant memorial to women who have suffered or been killed by domestic violence, to the bust of General Jose de San Martin (one of the leaders of South America's independence movement), to recent sculptures installed along Elgin Street from Montreal sculptor Francis Montillaud.

Alright so this park has a great ratio of tree to space, I swear it’s 5-10 degrees cooler than the sidewalk creating its own microclimate. Lots of benches and tables, including some chess tables

Beautiful location. The Memorial means a lot to me, and it's unique in it's purpose. I have yet to see any other memorial dedicated towards women who are victims of violence or abuse in this city. I come here very regularly just to feel seen.

Nice little surprise green space on Elgin. Favourite park to go to with my little elderly pup who gets overwhelmed at the dog park

Go here, play your chess, make your mates and let people know you've won. You're not a winner if you don't show it off, there's lots of space to dance.

This park is just right for a little break. Sitting on a bench and enjoying the beautiful trees or just strolling through. There are no play structures there but you will see kids running and playing, enjoying the park as is. This park is also dog friendly.😊

It's an un-fenced grassy park that allows off-leash dogs so if yours is obedient this can be a much safer place to go than the fenced ones where you sometimes get unsocialized and untrained dogs that can become bullies or unintentionally harm other dogs. Unfortunatly there's often a lot of food waste on the ground so you do have to watch for it to keep your dog safe. There's frequent events here and a monument/memorial for women who have experienced or been killed by domestic violence.

This a very quiet place to relax. There are many wonderful people who walk their dogs. I personally have no issues walking the park at night but there can be annoying strangers so if you are a vulnerable person I would suggest another route home but safe to say it generally a safe place.

Very quiet area to get away from the noise on Elgin Street. Lots of benches or find an area on the grass and put your blanket down.

A nice inner city green space.

  • 4/5 Priyanka Ramanand P. 4 years ago on Google
Peaceful. It seems like an excellent place for silent contemplation, as it was filled with shrubs and also had a few flowing plants. The neighborhood is quiet, and has pretty porches. Although I didn't spend time in the park and was simply passing by, it was definitely a pleasing area to be in.

Quiet park in downtown Ottawa. Benches, people, trees, sun.

One of my favourite inner-Ottawa parks. Not many know this, but it's also an off-leash dog park. Lots of benches, picnic tables, chess tables, and monuments.

Went to Minto Park today and had a lovely time. There was live music, and I felt safe because everyone was social-distanced well and/or wearing masks. Awesome park!!

Good park with lots of shade and places to sit. The paved path through it makes it easier for people with mobility challenges to enjoy the space too.

A lovely little pocket park just off Elgin Street, enjoyed by everyone, in all seasons. Has nice shaded areas in the summer, but when the leaves fall, you can see the outline of the massive maples, through which the sun peeks through. Great place to sit and read. A rendez-vous for well-behaved canines and their owners. Sometimes there are live performances in the park.

Quiet space to walk your dog or have a picnic in a downtown setting. Pick up lunch or a coffee at a local join on Elgin or make this a end point on your run to stretch in the sun.

Lovely spot for a rest and people watching. Pitty many use it as a dog park when the actual dog park is just a block and a half away

  • 5/5 Arno R. 1 year ago on Google
Nice green park along Elgin St. A great place to bring a coffee and pastry from a cafe and sit on a bench. Though it isn't a dog park, you may see dogs off-leash.

Really nice park however on a sunny saturday afternoon there was A LOT of weed being smoked. It really was too much and did ruin our time there.

A quiet city park, full of trees, plenty of space to sun bathe, with the convenience of Elgin Street a few steps away.

  • 5/5 Bianca M. 3 years ago on Google
lovely park with options for benches, tables, and grass to sit upon. Cute trees for shade, not too crowded, and most people keep their distance and give others privacy.

How tf are we supposed to rate a park smh

  • 5/5 Alyssa A. 3 years ago on Google
It's an off leash dog park which is great. Not fenced in, so be careful here with your reactive dog or one that has no recall. Lots of tables and benches, plus shade. There is a fair amount of bugs in the warm months but that is typical of anywhere.

Great clean park small but a good walk if you go back and forth a few times nothing bad to say about this place and right in the middle of every kind of store you could imagine.
