Nice park. Off leash dog park available (no fence). Very low profile, not many people come to visit.

Today I visited Primrose park with my little boy Rudy the Doberbaby, he was a little bit skittish when he came into my life, but as this wonderful day progressed he bloomed and became really comfortable. During our off lead visit to Primrose, my boy got to express himself for what he is, a wonderful goofy, active and smart 🤓 Doberbaby, he relaxed and finally came out and began to tease me. He's following me everywhere without reservation, he's beginning to feel secure and happy. Primrose park is the ideal setting under a controlled environment, that allowed my pupp to open up and play with another doggie without feeling concerned about being left alone. Great park with great doggie off lead playing areas. So happy about bringing my boy to express and open up himself.

Nothing special, but decent for kids as the play structure is modern and the splash pad is interesting. Not much for adults to do though. The benches are in FULL SUN all afternoon, save for a little area near the entrance. I’d love to move them but - so Ottawa - they’re bolted to the ground. Could use some better landscaping.

Great park. The structures are interesting and varied. There is limited street parking unfortunately. The splash pad is very refreshing on hot days and there are many places to eat nearby on Sommerset. For those with dogs, there is a small dog park just across the fence.

Great little park near the centre of Ottawa, in a quiet, family-centric neighborhood. And it seriously has the best splash pad in the city!

Nice little park, has an off leash section for dogs. A big playground with a splash pad. Lots of shade from big trees and places to sit for a picnic.

Lovely park, especially for kids. Honestly there's nothing outstanding about it, except the dog park is separated nicely by a hill and fence. There's a nearby rabbit warren, and lots of birds, lending a fantastic atmosphere. Its on the end of the street, and well surrounded by buildings so there's little traffic and its quite quiet. The splash pad and holes dug up by dogs are quickly repairs when the bucket stops tilting water or some such mibor thing. Best of all, its a fantastic neighbourhood, completely family oriented, even those without kids. Mine and my favourite park, no contest.

Super cute park with a Splash pad for little kids with a playground next to it.. very queit, private real area.. we brought our family there after a day of walking through parliament hill and sight seeing on a hot sunny day to cool off through the splash pad.. was a great end of day... we loved how private/secluded it was.

Nice park to drop by and let your dog off the leash. Often meeting new people is easy, so socializing amongst other pet owners is good.

Very nicely-designed playground with lots of climbing options, a handful of picnic tables, and a gorgeous splash pad. See-through wire fencing and some grading separates the children's park from nice walking paths frequented by dog-walkers. The equipment was clearly put in within the past couple of years. Street parking available. An excellent, low-key place to bring children in the 3-8-year range.

Could be cleaner but fun park for kids. It seems some drink in park and cans of beer cam be seen. Needs to be more monitored.

Great little park for kids. It has a play structure on one side and a splash pad on the other. I also like that's it's fenced in on one side.
