Casino in early morning is same as before fairly quiet. I spoke to Casino services and they said the Buffet will not return in the near future. The Club House will be renamed Mr. Luckys and be A la Carte cafeteria style no table service. The restaurant(cafe) limited menu is never busy, waste of space and time.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1, because the staff is always great here. This place used to be great when they were attempting to transition to a Hard Rock Casino. The pandemic definitely ruined this place. I went the other night and it was the least exciting time I've ever had at a casino. Nothing but slot machines and abandoned table games reminding guests of what used to be. They need to hire some dealers for their table games or at least get their poker room up and running again. They need to get this establishment back to what it used to be so that they can move forward and get it where they originally planned for it to be. The food options are horrible and overpriced. No more buffet. I get it.. food costs have significantly increased, but you're a casino... you profit enough to still make a profit. If you insist on just serving a la carte, then provide some affordable options. Your Italian restaurant is not at a caliber to justify the prices you're attempting to charge, and Mr. Luckys is way too expensive for basic food like hot dogs and sandwiches. Update your customers with some honest feedback on your plans for the near future of this establishment, because if it's just going to remain a shell of what it used to be, then Casino Lac Leamy is a much better option for patrons looking for a real casino experience.

Absolutely boring still after covid.. no table games of any sort, no clients, walk in, slots, hit the button and go.. win or lose its about the atmosphere and the ability to play and enjoy yourself even when losing.. I'd rather play slots on my computer since there would be the same amount of people in the room

This place is disgusting and has gone down in everyway you could think of. First before anything, upon arrival I was harassed by the security guards, (keep in mind I am 6'7 I have a full fledged beard and am in my 40's" They harassed me because my ID was expiring in a month, I am not sure why but whatever. They then told me that I need three pieces of ID's, once again not sure why. Regardless after noticing I was not in the mood to argue and just did as they said they told me to go have fun and lose my money. (this was a short asian looking lady" I then proceeded to go have a drink, upon ordering the bartender ignored my drink, poured me another drink thinking I would not be able to tell, well I did and when I confronted him his excuse was "sorry man thought you didn't care what drink you'd get" After all of that I then won a jackpot and the machine did absolutely nothing, I literally took a picture, got up and left, went to go cashout my money and there was an $8 FEE! Terrible experience beware for those who go.

2023 June 3โ˜… A smaller casino, but also less crowded and ample parking space. While you certainly don't get the vibe from busier casinos, this is good for a quick fix at playing your luck. This casino has everything, gambling wise, that a larger casino has. Slots, live tables, roulette, black jack etc. Even electronic versions. If your looking for a quick stop, no frills, this is it.

This Casino once had potential, iโ€™m not sure that is the case anymore. A bleek atmosphere, dirty gaming stations with empty cups, straws, food wrappers, napkins etc. Still no live gaming dealers, or music, restaurants, poker games available to players etc. I would speculate there is something going on with Hard rock behind the scenes as there has been ZERO improvement to this facility since the announced acquisition. To whomever runs this casino, wake up! Ontario is open, restrictions are over. Get this facility running to its full potential. The only change iโ€™ve seen since the pandemic over there is bottles of Corona are now 11$ and coat check is now 3$, really? I guess we can thank the food and beverage manager or โ€œinflationโ€ for that rip off. Cmon guys, get it together, on the operations side, you should be embarrassed, seriously.

Casino located at south Ottawa. Much smaller than the other casinos by the province but it has its small town facade with country style clubbing space on second floor. Gambling space is not large but they do try to offer a bit of everything. They constantly running promotions offering $10 gambling money with purchase of show tickets. However most of their shows I can see them for free in town and ones that are specialized, I find them quite pricy ($40 range ticket). Although the clubbing space is spacious and chic upper floor, I need a lot more convincing to come here.

We had fun but it was very dirty. Claims of frequent cleaning were clearly untrue. Beer bottles at machines. Cups crammed everywhere. Honestly the filthiest I've ever seen a Casino. This was very dissapointing.

Parking is great: spacious area. One level casino. Ate here for breakfast twice, and really enjoyed it. Horse races are entertaining. I like the table entertaining area, bar tender is friendly. I make a donation every time ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Our group had a fun time watching the horse races and sharing a meal. We sat alongside the track, inside, and had a great view. There were picnic tables and children allowed outside on the main level of the track. We spent $2 each race for fun and there were winnings for a couple of us. You kind of get into watching the horses and cheering them on!! Horse racing is seasonal on thursdays and sundays. The food at Mr Luckys was good, but pricey. I spent $30 for a burger with fries and glass of wine. You order your food at the cash, take a number, and they bring it to you. Staff was good at making sure we had cutlery and condiments at our group's table. A few in the group hit the slots in the casino and had fun. They had a clean team walking around, which is a great idea in these times. People seemed to be having fun at the slots and other automated machines. They had a few dealers at roulette tables and a "high roller"? room off to the side. The casino is too loud for me, but I guess that's part of the appeal for others. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Our dirty plates were not picked up in the hours we were there, so we cleared them ourselves. We enjoyed our 3 hours there... it has entertainment value. Lots of changes are ahead as they are currently constructing (according to the marketing info) a new hotel, 2200 person entertainment theater, and several additional restaurants to be opened in 2025

If you need somebody to go above and beyond for you, ask for Diane at the rockstar desk. She was incredible and went through a lot of trouble she did not have to to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be back soon and we're already planning a party when the renovations are completed. Thanks Diane! You're a gem!

Capital fair. Food is very expensive . Parking only accept cash. If you don't have cash you have to go out to nearest ATM. Dress appropriately for the weather. It's always hot any muggy. I would suggest come later evening

Ate at Cafe Italiano. It was ok. I had chicken Marsala. Chicken good. Pasta portion small. The ravioli, while good, was not satisfying. Their bread was miniscule. 2 bites, and was stone cold. Service was excellent, but there is zero ambiance. Food was better when it was a buffet

I simply love this Casino, my Husband and I come as often as we can. Most of the people there and the staff are you very friendly. Now we sometimes even Win a Jackpot every few months which is always welcomed.

It's very sad to see how down hill this place has gone. We used to win all the time. Now it's been well over a year since anyone I've gone with has won. We bought food here went out for a smoke and came back in and security wouldn't let us in with the food we bought here so ridiculous at the price of the food. Staff is rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend.

The machines and room is not as noisy as the Hull Casino. The machines are well spaced out and handicapped accessible . There is room to park a walker without blocking the isles. Of course walking out with a bit of winnings also helped

Ill keep it simple, Rideau Carleton USED to have a great buffet with loads of options. - They now have 4 or 5 separate restaurants. - Prices are not reasonable to portion sizes. - The chefs that they have found must have received their food handling certificate from a cereal box. I can say with confidence, its not worth your time looking at the menuโ€™s, unless $35 for soggy fish and chips is appealing or perhaps a $13 for a โ€˜SPICYโ€™ chicken wrap WITHOUT spice, half gallon of mayo and lettuce that felt like it was microwaved.

My experience at the Rideau Racetrack initially started off a bit rough. I presented my ID and vaccination certificate, scanned , checked out as it approved with a green signal meaning I was verified on the spot. The security guard further observed my document, and because I have the J &J vaccine, (WHICH IS ONLY ONE SHOT BY THE WAY) He started by saying I needed 2 shots. He was VERY UNAWARE...that the J&J vaccine IS ONLY ONE SHOT. I asked for a manager, who arrived shortly after and verified that I have the correct ID and my vaccination was indeed appropriate to enter. I eventually got in after that 15 minute delay. (Word of advice to people who have/had issues, or even if you want to prevent it overall, go to the customer service area, get you a casino member card made, AND ..they will stick a green verified sticker on your card, which will avoid you having any vaccination issues upon entry. The next time you go after having the verified sticker on it, all you will need to do is to show the casino 'verified'members , and your personal ID, and the entry will be seamless. ) Going into the casino, everything was spaced out socially distanced apart from each other. There was plexi glass in between the machines that were situated closer to each other. There were still refreshment drinks offered, masks are being worn in full effect, and overall a pleasant experience past the initial entrance process.

TERRIBLE venue for live concerts. "The Joint" is tiny and cramped. They have a HUGE bar that eats up a ton of the floor space with only 2 bar tenders for 300 plus people. All seating area is tucked into tiny nooks that have no view of the stage. Some poor guy in a leg cast missed the entire show because he couldn't stand. The "floor" area is tiny as well making it impossible to breath of see the stage when 300 people are cramed in like sardines in a 30 ft by 30 ft area. This was to see kim Mitchell. I would hate to see it when the hard rock starts bringing in bigger names!! Never again

Very friendly and welcoming staff. They were quick to get me signed up for a players club card and gave me a $25 bonus to play with. There's a good amount of slots to play as well as some live dealer tables if that's what you're looking for. Good atmosphere. Definitely recommend checking this casino out

We went with the intention of a fun day however that was not rhe case.I was expecting my points to play but there were no points for me.Evertime I go and it's every few months I fill out the same form and give my email address. There was nothing on record and the manager and woman at the desk decided to give me a whole 5 dollars .They were dismissive and could use a course ipon customer service skills. The food however was really good and the staff at the restaurant had better and welcoming people skills. With the new hotel opening ,I sure hope the two I dealt with are not so difficult as everyone is a valued customer.

Very welcoming staff that were extremely friendly. Immediately got me set up with a players club card and $25 free to spend. Good layout with a large number of slots to play as well as some live dealer tables if that's more what you're into. Definitely recommend checking this casino out!

Hard Rock? Please tell me this is a sad joke. Iโ€™ve been to dozens across North America and this place is a disgrace to that brand. The food outlets are literally the equivalent of a high school cafeteria, minus the service . I waited 5 plus minutes while the cashier at Luckyโ€™s fiddled on her phone. Food was cold and disgusting. Also, their players club do not have a clue how casinos work as they could not explain to anyone in our group how comps and status points are measured and what we could use them for. But they kept bugging people in my group to sign up for a members card under some payback scheme nobody could seem to explain. The most incompetent business I have ever frequented... Fricken bingoland south is a better casino, LOL.

Found your lunch not satisfactory. Burnt pepperoni on top of Pizza. Hopefully you will open other eating facilities on Monday and Tuesday. If you are to give gifts please don't insult us by giving a plastic rake. You are being misers by charging for coat check. Did you ever hear of a check coat facility charging ,I believe it's $3.00 cash or pay 450 points. . If you want people to come to the HARD ROCK I SUGGEST YOU REEVALUATE YOUR ATTITUDE towards your faithful customers. Good luck.

Good casino but for sure needs an update. In all fairness I haven't been in a while, bit there was not a lot of table games. I did go for Victoria day fireworks and it was very nice, but they closed food right at the end of the show and security kind of cleared people out after about 15 minutes. There was also a lack of security directing traffic (people were driving were ever they wanted to)

The slot machines were good. Large selection. Not to busy. The location was extremely hot. Others were commenting. The restaurant food was terrible. Had fish and chips. Looked and tasted like it came out of a box from the grocery store. Later tried a hot dog instead. Bun was microwaved and was so rubbery you could not chew through it. Food was so much better when it was Rideau Carleton.

The Rideau Carleton Casino and Race Track has both horse harness racing and gambling machines. These games include various themed slot machines, Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat and Roulette table games. All having colourful lights blinking and bells ringing. I like going to the outdoor track to watch the horses trot around the well groomed oval field. The horses are beautiful. I don't know much about gambling, However, I can see why it can be addictive so I didn't stay too long. Please contain yourself when you gamble so you don't lose too much of your hard earned money. I didn't try the restaurant so I can't review it. But I did hear they no longer have buffets. If you like my reviews, photos or videos why not pull your one armed bandit and hopefully win the jackpot

6 years ago I came to the Casino to celebrate my birthday I was stopped at the door and asked for my ID and I showed the security and he was being rude he said I wasn't my age. So his supervisor looked on my ID and said yes I could go in. I wasn't pleased with the way I was treated.
