Essentially a perfect hotel. Attentive, prompt service by all staff. For example Michael at the front desk is a total star. The rooms are big, impeccably clean, fully equipped, and more soundproofed than the average hotel. The gym is expansive and professionally equipped. Great pool. Tons of free parking. Trust me, you'll be happy at this absolutely outstanding Hilton.

The staff are friendly. The place is tidy and clean inside and out. The suite is very clean and spacious. Very pet friendly. If I had negatives, the continental breakfast was not stocked up as well as it should have been, they kept running out of items before it was over. Also there is kids nonstop running the halls. We've had to call the front desk several times over this issue. I'll be expecting compensation over this.

Great sized rooms , perfect to accommodate 4-6 people, pet friendly &friendly staff. The hygiene level is great as well, it does have pool and Gym+ free breakfast and wifi! Couldn't ask for much more . Glad we picked this hotel and a bit of commute over the ones in downtown. 100% recommended 👌

Newer hotel in a good location of brand new suburbs, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Pool and fitness center are nice. The views are just other apartment buildings and condos under construction, but it's quiet. Laundry room has 2 washers 2 dryers and they work, $2.00 per each cycle or 4 $1 Loonie coins for start to finish. Dryer actually dries in 1 cycle. Would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel to spend time with a family. The suites are large and modern. Having separate living and sleeping spaces allowed the parents to sleep in a little longer while the kids watched some TV in the early morning hours. Breakfast was good, staff was great. I'm typing this from a supposed 4-star hotel and the Homewood Suites was far better than this dump. Will definitely stay at Homewood Suites again.

Lobby was clean bright and airy. Rooms were well sized and clean. Parking was tight, especially for larger vehicles. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance or short drive. Good accessibility to downtown Ottawa. Would definitely return when in the area again.

During last February I have stayed in this hotel for 18 days with my wife. I was moving to Canada and my office booked this property for us. My stay was pleasant and comfortable. Room was quite spacious with king size bed, two bed side table, one work station, one sofa with coffee table, well equipped kitchen, one fridge, iron and iron table. The heating was also fine with the maximum temperature one can set was 24 degree Celsius. The service was decent as well. The room cleaning was efficient however it was mostly on request. Which I found a little bit odd. They have pool, gym in their property. One can also take print-outs if needed from the common work station just beside the dining area. Wi-Fi was decent and we never faced any issues. Breakfast was a bit turn down compared to other facilities. We expected a little more variety. Location wise I have no complain whatsoever. There is a bus stop in walking distance. And the place is well connected with Bayshore, Tunney's Pasture, Lincoln Field, Terry Fox with bus service operated by OC Transpo. It's a well known location with most of the cab drivers and apart from one occasion we didn't face any cancellation issue. There are a lot of grocery stores near by (5-10 mins walk) in Campeau Dr. One can order foods from various online platform as well and there are a number of restaurant near by to choose from.

Rooms are spacious and very nice. Breakfast was good too. However, we were staying for a wedding and booked the hotel 8 months prior. We arrived at 2:45 and our room was not ready. We had to load the shuttle bus at 3:30 and our room was still not ready so we left all of our belongings at the front desk. At 1:30 am when we got back from the wedding we had to get our luggage and bring it to our room that was now ready. Not a huge deal but irritating. We get to our room and there is a tshirt and brown house coat on the bathroom door from the previous guest. Minor issues but expected better.

This hotel is our go-to choice everytime we visit Ottawa. The kitchenette is convienient for any family with kids and there are shopping plazas nearby. Sound insulation seems to be better than average hotels. There is still room for improvement on compliementary breakfast as it lacks variety from day to day. Wish everyone a pleasant stay here.

Excellent stay for business. Was here for a week and I'm am partial to Homewood Suites when going for a week. This one was extremely nice! Excellent front desk staff, very well kept, excellent room. Was very happy and will be staying here again for a couple days next week and hopefully again any time I need to be in the area. My client was only 5km from this hotel so worked out perfect.

Went to stay 2 nights with family, staff was friendly and accommodating with our requests. They allowed us to check in early. What more can you ask for, free complimentary snacks, water, great breakfast and free parking. Also good WiFi connection. On site free swimming pool and fitness centre. Clean and modern rooms equipped with kitchen and living room.

I've stayed here twice and both times were great! The service is top notch, I love the little snacks that are replenished daily. The beds are really comfortable, and having a full size fridge was necessary when my husband and I were there with our two young children! The complimentary breakfast is awesome! It's from 7-10 on weekends and 6-9 on weekdays. They have self laundry (2 loonies per wash and per dry), they have food items for purchase in the lobby like pizza pops, chips, ramen, etc. My only two complaints are, when we stayed in the winter, the snow that's plowed on the upper parking area takes up so many parking spots, we had to park on the street the entire weekend. It was inconvenient. The second complaint is that the pool was too cold for our family. We wanted to make use of the pool but could only stay in for 20-30 minutes before having to go back to the room to warm up in the shower 🥶. Despite the two complaints, I still give this hotel 5 stars and would stay here again and again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Over all a great hotel! The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew never stop and it shows on the cleanliness of the hotel! This is why I always choose the Hilton family of hotels, they never disappoint!

I mean, the room was alright, the food was alright. All in all I guess it’s not necessarily a bad experience to live in the hotel, but the staff of the hotel is the reason why I give this experience a 1 star… First of all, during my 16-night stay, I had a trip planned in the middle, asking for a wake-up call, which was accepted, but never called, I think that along was unacceptable.. Secondly, I especially don’t appreciate the way that the hotel staff answers our questions, in the sense that the answer just keep on changing, the night before when I asked about the remaining bill it was 1,500 CAD, the next day all of a sudden it’s all settled? I really think that the staff should figure things out before giving answer to the client, keep their promise, and then just try to be consistent Not a good experience, the next time I don’t think I’ll be considering this hotel again. For a weekend of like couple of nights, maybe. For the long stay, I feel like there might be some other better options.

The rooms are spacious. Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was included but rate was close to $200 for one night. The king size bed was comfortable. The room had a full kitchen area with fridge etc.

PROS- spacious suite, dog friendly is a HUGE perk for us, decently modern, friendly front desk staff, lots of treats for sale in their front shop, open and inviting breakfast seating area, cribs available for people traveling with babies, Hilton app allows keyless entry and access to a chat with hotel staff which is nice; pleasant experience overall. CONS- “hot” breakfast food is essentially defrosted frozen omelettes, and odd sausage rounds. There’s no waffle maker which was featured in online photos. No smart TV so you can’t use streaming like Netflix, only live basic cable (if you have a fire stick bring it)The pillows are extremely soft feather which was uncomfortable for us, beds were ok, fitness centre could use better equipment, main parking lot is very small and the walk to the upper lot is not far but the ramp was closed so we had to push the baby stroller all the way up the car entrance (not great), my husband didn’t like the bathroom design which has the toilet and shower in a separate room from the sink (didn’t bother me). Overall good and we’ve been multiple times. Will return.

If I could give it -5 stars I would. First of all I called at 6 in the morning to reserve a crib for our little one and if they didn't have anything I would have brought our play pen from home. They said they would have one ready in our room after waiting a while we were finally checked in and got to our room and there was no crib. I went downstairs and they had no knowledge of me even asking let alone the fact that I reserved it. Two hours later we finally got a crib with no communication what so ever from the front desk. Once in the room we noticed there were bugs every where in the bathroom and bedroom especially. I brought one of the bugs downstairs to show the gentlemen and he did not seemed surprised and did nothing about it. Me and my four children ate the breakfast and we ended up getting very sick we were all puking and had diarrhea. How do you work on the roof if you can't control yourself let alone deal with 4 sick children. This was not a pleasant trip for our family what so ever. I need a new paint job on my truck because I have ceramic coated paint. I am not impressed what so ever. Please rethink staying at this establishment.

Really nice rooms and good staff but there was a barking dog all night and morning long in the room beside us and we notified staff but nothing was done about it so we didn’t get a good rest which is unfortunate for staying at a nice hotel. Also, when we did get to sleep, house keeping kept knocking on our door when we were sleeping at 8am and tried on 2 different occasions to come into our room but luckily we had to door block activated.

Although the hotel rooms were clean and spacious but for me the service and security plays a big role. We stayed there for 3 nights and the day we left I called the reception and informed them that I left my electric toothbrush in our room. I was told they will check and let me know. For 3 consecutive days I called them and every time they told me the same thing. After 4th follow up, they told me room service staff didn't find such a thing !!!! I call this an absolute stealing and lack of control over security by the hotel management. Not enough administration and management was obvious during our stay.

The place was great, when we got in, the receptionist greeted us very nicely and it took 2 minutes to get our keys. He also gave me and my sister 1 gold fish packet each, he was very kind. When we later got in our room, it was so big, it was very clean, and very organized. They treated us with snacks when we got in our room such as cans of soda, chips, granola bars, chocolate and popcorn microwave bags. When we'd call the staff to ask them questions or to get information about the room or surroundings, they talked slowly, clearly, and made sure we knew everything that we needed to know. The room is insanely big, the kitchen was nice, the sofas were comfy, so were the beds, you are never disturbed since no noise from outside goiles in your room to disturb you, it was very nice. Although there are some things that needs to be changed/made better, for example, the dining place. It's small which makes overcrowding and there are not alot pf tables which could leave you waiting to sit down to eat. The food was ok, I suggest making the food higher quality though. But overall, this deserves a 5 star review

So my brother got a Room at this location the room seemed elegant and cozy. But then we went for breakfast and our side of the hot main line of breakfast it was the sadest breakfast at a hotel I have ever seen or had. Bag3ls old No muffins, no bagel options just 1 type. Only white no. Brown bread. No waffles the breakfast area very tight. No fruit for the oatmeal, the cheapest flymsest cutlery not one actual dosh all paper disposable and the parking garage it's more of a inconvenience the only good thing which we have not tried yet is the GYM. Sorry way over priced to cramped and lacking

Worst experience ever. Your hotel staff who works Saturday morning (white guy /Asian girl) needs to learn some basic manners how to handle guests such a racist behaviour on Indian customers as they treated other guests with respect but treated us like we were staying there for free.. They wasted my 2 hours during checkin, not only that they offered me a broken room key . Bed sheets smelled like a urine. Yellow stains on 3/4 pillows and when I asked the staff to change they show me attitude. Go and learn some manners first !

I stayes here for several weeks while working nearby. Staff, great. Breakfast limited hot options all way too salty. The "stove top" take an hour to boil water. Bed are meh. Big TV, good decor, ceiling fan (right!?) Good water pressure and temperature. Probably the worst hotel I've been at for noise (not noisy guests) but improperly insulated walls/sealed windows, can hear everything outside and in neighboring rooms(doors, vibrations, TV, garbage trucks, snow removal, etc.) Worst cheapest toilet paper on the planet. Good selection of cutlery and cooking accessories. Nice fridge. Limited parking often have to walk down from an outdoor above ground parking garage.

It was an old hotel but well maintained and rooms were quite spacious.. had one king bed and sofa combed still we had enough space to put another queen size mattress.. One full kitchen inside.. Best option for big families and who wants to stay long. Rates were most competitive

Pre-checked in via their Hilton Honors program. Arrived on time after a long trip. Room wasn't ready even though one was assigned to us, no explanation or communication other than "I don't know when it will be ready". They gave us a check in time, and a room number long before we ever walked through the door, your guests arrival isn't a surprise. My family sat in the front lobby for an hour and a half waiting for our room. Staff didn't check in with us and only interacted when I asked questions. No offer to compensate in any way, or even apologize. In fact, they didn't talk to us except when I asked for updates. Hot breakfast was luke warm at best, had to microwave in our room. I get that there's restrictions and things are weird, but a hot meal goes a long way. The pool had no towels, had to call front desk to refill them every time we went. When you have to book pool time an hour in advance you should know how many towels you are going to need. The pool filter was never running, the pool was dirty and had hair balls floating in it throughout our stay. We, as well as several other guests mentioned this and nothing was ever done. Gross. We paid for the premium suite package, at least we got the water & snacks we paid for. But there was nothing premium about our stay. I've stayed in hotels all over the globe, and this hotel was one of the most underwhelming in terms of customer service and experience that I've ever stayed at. If this is the kind of place that Hilton puts their name on today, I won't be staying in any of them again. Suggestion .. if you make guests wait an hour and a half for their room, make a point to at least communicate with them or you'll lose more than one return guest. And clean your gross pool.

Great location - kitchen equipment is minimal, but in the Summer BBQ access is great. Close to shopping for food, plus many restaurants and a movie theatre. Once COVID rules are behind, the experience will be better.

I stayed here for 14 nights. Pros Clean rooms and welcoming staff. Complimentary breakfast, wifi and parking Cons Hotel menu is more or less same and can be boring if staying longer. Room service is a bit unpredictable and hard to get.

The place is nice and all, but I would really advise not to forget anything over. They can never find a misplaced item. I forgot my phone charger and when I noticed the missing charger, I called them and they couldn’t find it. The first time I forgot my ring over and they couldn’t find it either. I’m so disappointed, I’m never going back.

Beautiful property. I love this hotel. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. The property is relatively new and very clean. The rooms are big, spacious and so homely. The interior deco is cozy and warm. Fully equipped kitchen makes the suites more like apartments. Great place for families to stay because its spacious and fully equipped. I will recommend this hotel.

overall stay is good. Great breakfast grab and go , room spacious , clean with full kitchen facilities , except the TV movies is too old in 1970, 1980 movies and internet is chargeable if you want to access movie web . The most inconvenience is only one chair in room for a two person king size room. We are not able to eat our dinner and breakfast comfortably.

Was traveling from Montreal to home with my wife after surgery, it was a long trip. We decided to stay in Kanata, I call for a early keep in explaining why we need to check in early. From front desk to house keeping, everyone did a fantastic job making our stay as comfortable as they can. Room was new and clean. THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING OUR STAY STRESS FREE

This hotel room with its kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc was a very comfortable and relaxing room. Made dinner in the room and sat around the kitchen table. A bedroom and a living room with large windows was bright and relaxing with a morning coffee

All the staff is super friendly, nice and helpful. We stayed around 10 nights in August and we asked for some changes on our reservation and every time they were able to help and accommodate our needs in a really kindly way. The suites are pretty clean and tidy. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stayed again.

My husband, three kids, and myself wanted to do a mini getaway for my birthday — killing two birds with one stone, we decided to spend the night in Kanata, and then hit-up Tangers for shopping the next day. We decided on Homewood Suites Kanata due to its location, and we're so happy we did. We were running late into town, and I was worried the pool would close before we got there ... I reached-out to reception (Phil) using the app — he was extremely fast in responding back to me letting me know the pool was open til 10, so we'd have plenty of time to swim when we arrived. Check-in was quick, and each of my girls got to choose a snack from the snack racks (they were SO excited about that!) my husband and I were given a few bottles of water and a run-down of where everything was. Our room opened using the digital key on the app (SUPER handy!) and we stepped into a gorgeous room (Family suite)! Very spacious with enough room for the five of us. There were two fully stocked bathrooms, and we felt at "home" instantly. We all went for a swim, and the pool was great! Clean and easily to find. Although we didn't need to use it, I noticed an "accessible" lift into the pool, which I haven't seen in a hotel pool before, so that was a pleasant surprise. In fact, the entire hotel was extremely accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. Our sleep was great, the room was pretty soundproof, and blackout curtains in each room. The continental breakfast was fantastic! Lots of different options: croissants, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast/bagels, omelettes, bacon, waffles, juice, tea and very hot coffee. There were also cereal and oatmeal options as well. We were definitely well fed before checking out. Overall, I was extremely impressed with our stay, and will definitely be back soon!

Great place to stay when visiting Ottawa. Only about 15mins from downtown Ottawa. Very clean and quiet. Plenty of room for our family. The pool was nice too. Had a good hot breakfast each day. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay there again in the future

My family and I booked a 2 bedroom suite for a 2-night stay. Upon checking in we found the room hadn’t been properly cleaned from the previous guests. There was food on the floor (in the bedrooms and the living space), along with a layer of grime on the kitchen surfaces and dining table. There were sticky spills inside the fridge and hair in one of the showers. When we notified the front desk they apologised but made no effort to right the issue. The breakfast was good but you must get there early otherwise it runs out quickly. We didn’t get to try the other amenities but I’m sure they were great.

I suffer from spinal chronic pain from a thoracic compression fracture I had in a snowboarding accident which makes me very sensitive and picky about mattresses and pillows. We stayed in this hotel for a total of 10 nights in three different rooms both king studio and two-bedroom suites and in all of them I slept like a baby. The staff was simply amazing: accommodating and flexible to change our bookings multiple times adapting to our needs; they were efficient, cordial, attentive and very friendly. Loved that we were able to save up 10 days of breakfast since it is included in this hotel; they had eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, pastries, toast, croissant, oatmeal, fruit, juice, yogurt, coffee, among other things, and good sanitary practices due to the pandemic. We used the gym and the indoor pool! I was also able to work from the desk in our suit with great wifi. The location was key for us as they are at the heart of Kanata, exactly halfway between my sister's and my brother's, also minutes away from Tanger Outlets, grocery stores, cinema, it was super convenient. Overall, it was an excellent choice and stay, we really enjoyed it.

First time here and rented a 2 bedroom suite. Very clean, very nice and wonderful staff who are friendly and helpful. The pricing for what we enjoyed also very competitive. I also found the parking very convenient and even the access to the road was very safe. I would definitely recommend this for any one.

Visiting friends for a few hours. While I can't speak on the value for money, or overnight experience. I can comfortably say that the suite (2bdrm2bath) was of exceptional cleanliness. It was also well staged, and built with purpose. Customer service at the overnight desk was unmatched with near instant assistance, and unparalleled greetings. The lobby is also spacious, and well decorated. Would 100% recommend.
