I
stayed
at
this
Best
Western
Plus
on
Friday
May
20th
and
Saturday
May
21st.
At
first
glance
the
hotel
seemed
nice,
even
the
room
(1
King
Bed
Suite).
Unfortunately,
that’s
where
“nice”
ended.
Halfway
to
our
room,
we
encountered
a
set
of
stairs.
There
was
no
ramp
to
push
the
laden
luggage
cart
up
to
the
next
level.
We
needed
to
unload
the
cart
and
carry
everything
the
rest
of
the
way.
My
wife
was
injured
in
an
accident
and
could
barely
make
it
up
the
stairs.
It
would
have
been
nice
if
the
front
desk
had
let
us
know.
The
suite
floor
is
approximately
5
inches
lower
than
the
hallway.
The
owner
has
installed
a
ramp
in
the
room
to
make
up
the
difference.
He
then
camouflaged
it
with
the
identical
carpet
as
used
in
the
room.
The
curtains
in
the
bedroom
were
shut
(good
decision
to
try
and
keep
the
room
a
bit
cooler)
and
the
only
light
you
could
turn
on
from
the
door
was
very
dim.
I
turned
to
the
chair
near
the
ramp
to
put
some
luggage
down,
slipped
and
almost
twisted
my
ankle
when
I
“fell”
off
the
side
of
the
ramp.
There
should
be
some
type
of
warning
alerting
the
customer
to
this
or
at
the
very
least
more
light
so
that
we
can
pick
out
the
ramp
easily.
I
had
to
request
pillows
and
linens
for
my
daughter
who
was
using
the
sofa
bed.
After
waiting
45
minutes,
I
needed
to
call
the
front
desk
to
find
out
where
the
pillows
were.
Finally,
someone
showed
up
at
my
door
with
the
linens
but
no
pillows.
She
informed
me
that
there
were
none
but
would
look
one
other
place.
Luckily,
she
found
a
couple
of
pillows.
The
mattress
(if
you
could
call
it
that)
was
extremely
poor.
It
didn’t
look
or
feel
like
it
had
been
upgraded/replaced
for
a
very
long
time.
It
was
lumpy
and
worst
of
all,
the
springs
were
poking
right
through
the
extremely
thin
mattress.
I
have
slept
on
sofa
beds
before
and
this
one
should
have
been
replaced
years
ago.
Complimentary
continental
breakfast
is
not
included
and
none
of
us
eat
a
large
breakfast,
so
we
decided
to
bring
some
breakfast
foods.
The
microwave
was
from
the
1970’s
(rotary
dial,
no
LCD
screen).
I
was
worried
about
the
safety
of
it
and
declined
to
use
it.
The
air
conditioning
unit
was
extremely
loud
and
I
needed
to
turn
it
off
in
order
to
sleep.
More
importantly
there
was
duct
tape
surrounding
the
unit
(poorly
applied
at
that)
to
keep
the
bugs
out?
To
keep
it
from
leaking?
I’m
not
sure
why
but
obviously
maintenance
is
not
a
priority.
The
next
morning
on
our
way
out
to
do
some
pre-wedding
preparations
(my
son’s
wedding),
I
talked
to
the
cleaning
staff
on
our
floor
to
make
up
our
room
while
we
were
gone
(we
were
going
to
be
back
between
11
and
2
to
get
ready
for
the
wedding).
She
told
me
to
inform
the
front
desk
as
our
room
wasn’t
on
her
list.
When
I
stopped
at
the
front
desk,
I
was
informed
that
the
rooms
were
not
serviced
unless
you
were
staying
more
than
3
nights.
I
understand
not
changing
the
linen
or
sheets
for
short
stays,
BUT
to
not
empty
the
trash
or
make
the
beds
is
incomprehensible.
The
front
desk
staff
told
me
they
would
have
it
made
up.
When
we
returned
I
was
told
that
they
couldn’t
enter
the
room
since
the
“do
not
disturb”
sign
was
on
the
door.
I
specifically
told
the
cleaning
staff
that
they
could
enter
if
they
would
be
finished
by
11
AND
also
told
the
front
desk
staff
why
the
“do
not
disturb”
sign
was
on
the
door
and
gave
them
permission
to
enter
with
the
same
request,
be
finished
by
11.
I
informed
them
that
we
would
be
out
of
the
room
by
1:30
and
they
could
make
it
up
then.
