Great value for small clean units/rooms close to Ottawa. I stayed in September 2015 when downtown Ottawa was fully booked over school start weekend. It was family run and the gentleman who managed to find me a room was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, as was his wife when I met her the following day. A great place to stay on a road trip and also a cheap alternative to downtown Ottawa prices if you're willing to drive into the city for sightseeing. Would definitely stay again!

Nice cozy rooms. Very comfortable beds and new fluffy pillows. Staff were very friendly and helpful in answering questions about amenities and things to do in Ottawa and area. Clean rooms although the washrooms were a bit outdated and need some renovations. Gave 4 stars because it was a bit pricey for what is offered. Air conditioning and wifi worked great. Overall was very happy with our stay and would recommend to a friend.

This has been a favourite of my partner and I. My high rating is not because it's a 5 star lodging, it's not; but the service is amazing, breakfast is appreciated, and we love the cabins. You can close the door and have a fully private, quiet room feeling like you're away from the city.

It's not where you stay ..it's who runs the place where you stay....Mr. M, the owner, and all his staff including room service...went above and beyond to make our stay safe, clean, and enjoyable. Just had a wonderful stay at the Traveler's Haven Motel. I would highly recommend this motel for it's friendly staff and great rooms. The pool is a bonus too. Lovely pool. Clean and creative towel sculptures on the beds. The drive to downtown is not far. Very convenient and affordable.

I personally have had nothing but great experiences here. The cottages are quite nice and the comfort level is great. I recommend it for a stop over as the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Get a cabin! We enjoyed ours - very clean, comfortable, and overall a unique and cozy experience with all the essentials. We stayed 2 nights while visiting Ottawa with friends. BBQ's were available and we enjoyed cooking some of our own meals for the group instead of spending a fortune eating out constantly. Pool was clean, clear, and looked inviting, however the weather was a bit chilly so we never got an opportunity to enjoy it. Hot coffee and tasty & fresh muffins were available in the office during the breakfast hours. The grounds could use some more maintenance. Grass was long and a few areas of the buildings showed lack of care/upkeep. Overall neither impacted our stay but could reflect badly for some picky travellers.

Great service and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and the rooms are very spacious. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
