Would give five stars for the quality of food. The steak was perfectly done, the steak and mushroom bowl was awesome. Just a few cons, we had to switch tables 3 times to find a stable one and I ordered a house salad and got a Caesar salad instead. Although it was good 😃 would recommend!

Our service was terrible. Just about everything you asked for, they didn't have it. The food was so overcooked that it was like chewing leather. My first and last experience. Waitress was extremely slow and rude. This was the chicken on a bun. Gross 😝 The hamburgers were so overcooked and dry. For the price you pay it deductible wasn't worth it.

My office (more than 100 ppl) had a reception here. Rey (a manager) was kind and gave us a very good deal. They closed the door for our group, so we were able to have a great time. My bosses and VIPs were very happy. The interior is much wider than downtown location and a microphone was provided to host the event. They didn't forget the Military discount. If you are a CAF member, enjoy the D'arcy Mcgee's!

Went for dinner a few weeks ago. Everything we ordered tasted great! Special shout-out to the creamy and spicy Guinness Braised Beef Penne, the blackened Cajun Salmon Bowl with tangy rice and veggies and the comforting Guinness Steak & Mushroom Bowl. Definitely will be going back and also recommend anyone looking for comfort food to give it a try.

Always a great lunch spot. Friendly staff, quick service, good food, good prices. Can't go wrong. They even have an updated menu with a bunch of yummy new items to try!

Our server was nice but we waited 45 min for a stew and chicken sandwich. The place was not very busy. Food was ok.

Came on a Saturday night before a Sens game. Arrived at 5:00 to give us plenty of time to go to the game at 7:00. When we first got there, a few of us wanted coffee but were told that no hot drinks were available since their coffee machine broke down. They were also out of Guinness (at an Irish pub). Also, many of the menu items were unavailable. Nevertheless we ordered and waited till 6:00 with no food arrival. While waiting, the women visited the bathroom where there was water all over the bathroom floor coming from the floor drain along with no paper towels. When we asked for our food, in was still 20 minutes away. The restaurant was nowhere near full. 6:20 and no food yet. At 6:30 we decided to leave as food was not there yet and were getting late for the game. We paid for our three beers, which came to $37. This place used to be our go to place prior to a game and is very sad how far and fast it has declined. The management team of this restaurant obviously has no interest in maintaining any level of food or service.

Went tonight since we had some good meals in the past. Was sat at same table when we first went. Apparently tables being “sticky” is seen as a positive thing. Drinks had no fizz whatsoever and tasted like someone opened a can of soda and left it open for two days. Replacement drink also did not have fizz. Gave up. Still charged full price. Shepherd’s fry had a tree’s worth of herbs tossed on top of the meal as if someone had tripped carrying it. Peas looked like they came out of a can. (That dark green colour is always telling). Fries had no salt. I could not finish it (and I was starving). Kids would not touch the chicken tenders because of their weird batter that looks like it burned. Really went downhill. Service was slow. Happy they at least comped one kid meal. If this is a new chef, hope they replace them.

This place was really fun. They had a live band on Saturday night which made the atmosphere energetic and lively. Food and drinks were good. We stuck to the appetizers this time as we were looking for bar food. We will be back and will definitely try the main menu.

I'm sure they would blame it on "the supply chain" but 7:00 pm (or maybe a bit earlier) on a Saturday night and they were out of my first three menu choices and running low on a few more items. The food I eventually ordered was good though. They should probably hire a few more servers too.

We used to enjoy this place. The physical premises are run down - but that is forgivable as just about any restaurant is trying to recover from pandemic closures....but you can't serve food that was portioned out three days ago. My meal looked tired and as thought it had been re-heated. The pico was brownish. On the upside, the fish tacos were good.

Good food good service nice place. I understand inflation and food prices are up but $15 barely a handful of cauliflower wings is nuts. Other places for a similar price you get enough for 2 people, which is what an appetizer should be.

Jenny was great, very helpful, I have an onion allergy and she was very accommodating. Didn't make me feel like I was a bother. Food was awesome.

Had a really nice pre-event dinner here the other night. It was obvious they were short staffed and it would have been great to get served faster because we had an event to go to, but the server was so nice and apologetic and we totally understand what the situation is for restaurants out there, overall it had little impact on us. The food was really delicious. My boyfriend and I both got the fish tacos and fries and they were so crisp, so perfectly not greasy, and really very delicious. Fries were crispy and delicious and I wanted more! My sangria was really delicious as well and a very good size! Overall, would def recommend for a bite before heading to the CTC!

Food was good, service was fine, nothing special. But it wasn't very clean. Wife said the bathrooms were dirty and I had to flick a chunk of some sort of food off the booster seat before putting my kid into it. Also the menus were really beat up which makes for a poor first impression.

We went out with the work gang after our shift and had a few drinks and some appetizers. Food and drinks were average, but the highlight of our visit was our waitress. I believe her name was Kayla. She was so bubbly and funny. We will definitely be back, and hopefully Kayla is working when we do. More restaurants need staff members like her.

Service and food were good. Drinks are okay. Live music is always a treat. We enjoyed our visit.

The food was very good. There were 6 in our party, we all had different dishes. Food arrived very hot, waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. It was very quiet when we visited early afternoon on Sunday. Have eaten here before and have enjoyed the food both times. Will visit again.

Went here for just some drinks and I ordered the red sangria. I wouldn't recommend it.. there are no layers of different juices, liqueur and wine, it is just not very complex in flavor. I like this drink at st Louis or 3 brothers much more.. The decor is very dark.. not classy dark just dark.

Really fantastic fresh home made food. Absolutely delicious. I had the Guiness Steak and mushroom bowl. At first I thought it was mostly gravy/sauce but then I found the beef and odd mushroom and homemade mashed on top....SO good. The mini yorkie bowls were light and crispy and perfect for scooping up all the delicious sauce and gravy. I feel bad they weren't bigger! I chose the guacamole and chips as my side. There was a ton of chips and a tiny cup of guacamole but it was SO good I immediately asked for a few more sides of guac (*which i ended up taking to go cause i was stuffed!). My friend had the pubs bacon cheeseburger which was also really good. Fresh cut fries were really good. Service was excellent and staff was excellent. By the way one of us was in a wheelchair and I was told previously that the place was not really wheelchair accessible by the waitress nor could they accommodate us so we left and haven't returned til today (I wanted that pub pie!). We sat on the patio and had no problems but did not go inside this visit. Would definitely recommend for the food and service. Will definitely be back. A+.

Made a reservation for a group of 6 last night. Table wasn’t ready for us, and they had to scramble to get us a place. Took forever for someone to take drink orders, and even longer to get them. We’d been sat for an hour and a half by time our food started coming out and they didn’t even bring us cutlery. We were offered plastic when two people at the table had meals you need a proper knife for. Overall was pretty disappointing that it took so long to get service and the quality was so poor. I was hoping that the meals would make up for it but the food was mediocre for what I’ve had at the restaurant in previous years. If you are looking to visit Darcy McGee’s it is definitely more of a bar scene now as most everyone else in the restaurant was just there for drinks.

Friday night dinner service was excellent. When there was an issue with one of the meals, the order was replaced. The manager graciously changed the TV to show the PWHL game. Big thanks to Trista and the whole staff at D's.
