McNabb Dog Park

Dog park

👍👍 Great place for medium sized dogs as area isn't as large as Hampton. Sad to say but there is a huge increase in the number of dogs with fewer facilities for owners to go. Use to go to La Roche (closed for another year) and Lemieux, (which wasn't really a dog park but was the perfect park for dogs)... People often mention dogs, park, people, Great,

I have a very young excitable boxador & when we arrived here & my dog seen other dogs there to play with, she got totally riled up. As we entered the park, every owner leashed up their dogs & left abruptly. I was under the assumption that dog parks were provided to socialize our dogs to allow them to burn off energy, get to know other dogs & allow them the chance to run around free to explore where they choose.

Use to go to La Roche (closed for another year) and Lemieux, (which wasn't really a dog park but was the perfect park for dogs) which is closed for a few years. I think with the large number of voting dog owners a petition should be prepared to increase the number of dog parks and make Lemieux one. I would love to see one in the large field at Tunney's Pasture at Parkdale and Brookside.

Great little spot to take your pup for an enclosed romp. Plenty of dogs from the neighbourhood and their humans meet up here for some social time. After being shut down for two months, luscious green grass has grown all around. If you're dog bolts be warned that there is an opening under the fenced door. Witnessed a dog make an escape the other day.

It's my favorite since it's fully enclosed and in a great location. Meet a different breed every time we go. Nice dogs and people too.

My dog and I both give this park 5 paws up. Nice enclosed area and usually always other dogs inside. Access from the McNab park and from the street without having to enter the park. Your dog will thank you for bringing them here

Wish there are lights at night. Can't go after sunset.

Great basic place to let dogs off leash and engage with other dog people.

Dogs (and people) seem friendly. Good safe place for dogs to run.

Met some interesting dogs at the park. People? Meh. I'm there for the dogs

Nice dog park. A few more lights would be ideal around the park.

Great dog park. Always tons of dogs on the weekend and usually at least one or two most nights of the week. Definitely my go to dog park.

Great open baseball field for dogs to run around, and some nice shady spots to hang out in.

Friendly and safe setting - has a clear, but open, community established. There are no clear/obvious spots dogs can sneak out through the fence.

Beware of "big Dave". He's a dog park Karen that believes he a dog trainer. At least 7 people I know including myself have stopped going during the time when he's there.

Great place to bring your dog if you live in the Center town area. Completely fenced in.

Great local dog park. Nice size for a downtown dog park and the people and dogs seen friendly.

Enclosed grassy area with a couple picnic tables and benches. Its typically a decent place to take your dog to play. There is very little shade, no water or clean up access. As with any off-leash park there are times when unsocialized dogs are left to harass other dogs without owner intervention but it hasn't been particularly common.

It's a great dog park if you go at the right times.. Which you'll have to figure out on your own because that's my little secret ;)

It's my favourite dogpark to bring my clients dogs to. But isn't without some issues like potholes from dogs digging and not much shade or easily accessible water fountain.

A bit dusty but our dog had fun. Small space and a lot of dogs but both dogs and people are nice.

Sketchy Mike? Was still there after all these years, but overall a great and chill dog scene

Fully fenced off leash park. Dogs dig holes but they are regularly filled in. Picnic table available. Access to water at a nearby fountain.

My dogs love it and the people are very nice.

👍👍 Conroy Pit is a lovely place for a walk in the woods with your pup. However, due to the extensive devastation by the May 21 derecho, all access to the wooded paths is blocked by fallen trees, hundreds of them. At the moment it is quite treacherous.

🫤 I have loved this space for my pup to run and socialize since we got her less than a year ago. Ive had many great experiences with great dog owners. However, recently my dog has been subjected to breed discrimination on 2 seperate occasions. Today we had been at the park for 20 mins with no issue, u...

👍👍 Considering where it is, it's a decent sized space with a fair amount of grass and the fence appears well maintained, (it's not loose or falling down in places and there aren't any holes in or under it that I've seen). It's pretty clean too! There are 2 large garbage cans and the majority of people...
