LeBreton Flats

Park

👍👍 This area of Ottawa I find a little underdeveloped. It could be quite the location if they finally did something across the street. At first the plan was to bring the Senators hockey team into this location but that fell through. In any case I hope they eventually build something nice. Lebreton Flat... People often mention Bluesfest,

Lebreton Flats park as we all know is home to the Blues Festival and it’s a fun location for it. It’s a very nice vast green space in front of the War Museum. 👍😎

Went here for Canada day....worst Canada day I've ever experienced downtown. There wasnt very much going on like in past years..no buskers, ppl playing drums on buckets, beat boxers, fire dancers, acrobats, bmx trick demos. Just a train for kids and a few boring games...it was so boring we walked downtown and my 9 yr old asked to go home by the time we got to parliment. Huge fail !

Got to see the Foo Fighters live! Loved the venue. Would go back for sure!

Half decent venue however I found tranportation archaic at best. Coming from out of town I found the utter lack of nearby parking and the event related road closures to be wholly frustrating. Walking in I looked for obvious signs of transit and found none so I would do some research before entering Ottawa again. It is not a city built for the uninitiated. The other thing I found odd was the stringent liquor control in some places and utter lack thereof in others. I attempted to order a single beer and a water at the counter but was refused and ejected as I had my 10 year old daughter with me (who just wanted some water). No more than 5 minutes later I was approached by a vendor with a cooler on his back selling beer to anyone (but not water). Bizzare. I will likely pass on the next show that's there. There are many other venues that have things buttoned down far better. But Weezer and Billy Talent were great!

Hadn't been to Fest in a few years but couldn't miss the opportunity to see Robert Plant ...with Alison Krauss. Great show!! But they parking for outta towners is crazy disappointing, especially for handicap!! Probably won't attend again

Great experience! A lot going on here during Bluesfest. Easy to get around as long as you know where your going. Check out the map before you go!

As a wheelchair user, I appreciated that the ground is relatively flat. I am glad I didn't go when it rained. Would have been a muddy mess! Access to the War Museum washroom would make events there FAR more inclusive. When I barely fit into a port-o-potty, they are too small!

For being called "bluesfest" it wasn't very blue -1 star for lying right to my face

Love Bluesfest, but the prices are getting out of hand. 2022 could be the last time we go.

Turns into a large event space close to public transit. The bridge leading to this place can get pretty packed during events so plan accordingly. There is also some free parking on the streets surrounding it.

Nice. It has grass so it's not dusty. Volunteers were nice.

Lebreton directly in front of the war museum is a great outdoor space especially for bluesfest but the rest of Lebreton is basically a vacant brown field. Not really loving the proposed development proposed by the NCC and their partners.

Came for Bluesfest. The admissions gate was organized if slow, but that's not the park's fault. Hard to tell in the crush of people, but seemed a lovely lawn event space. Stage setup was good!

Great vast park with a nice little paved loop good for doing laps as a cyclist or runner, you could have a picnic here.
