😠 The doctors are great which is the only saving grace. I've been a patient here my whole life (31 years) and not once have I had my appointment on time. I'm currently in the waiting room, they are 45 minutes late. I left work early for my appointment, guess I didn't have too. People often mention appointment, doctor, great, care, phone, doctors, time,

Been a patient at this clinic for 8 yrs now. I am fortunate enough to be in the care of one doctor and exposed to the new batches of residents every year. They are different but they do provide the next generation of healthcare.

We have three generations going here still, my mom, myself and my daughter. The reciperionist are always friendly and try their best to fit us in, if there’s an emergency we are often scheduled in that day or evening. My only issue is with some residents. This is a student practice location so 99% of the time you don’t actually get to see your doctor, you see a student in training. Some can be kind and do their best, but I’ve had a few bad experiences. Otherwise I really love my teams nurse and always greeted with smiles and first name basis. They’re very good with children and my daughter is always excited to visit when she needs to. Thank you for always taking such good care of my family!

I have seen Dr.Malek my whole life. He is the best family physician in Ottawa. I'm grateful for his care. When I cant see him quickly, I see his interns and never had an issue.

It's a teaching clinic, so most of the doctors will be changing out at intervals. They're pretty eager to find the best solutions and generally are not as jaded as older doctors in private practice. There are a lot of patients, so getting through can be tricky. Just plan ahead.

The doctor is lovely and smart, three times I have had medication prescribed to me wrong and no one informed me... They told me I had HERPES without running tests, I was so depressed and embarrassed. I found out from a walk in clinic it's impetigo and the treatment has fixed it almost over night. My trust is almost gone. Friday is my last appiontment with you.

I am thankful for the family health team at the Civic campus. They take great care of myself and my family. They fit us in when there is something urgent whether a spot in the day is available or during the after hours. Appointment booking is always quick. I'm glad to be a patient of this practice.

I was in for a medical appointment 21 August and drew the doctor’s attention to awakening at night and experiencing a loss of feeling in my left hand This has continued I phoned Wednesday – and again today - to make an appointment with the Diabetes Clinic but haven been unable to contact Kim (who doesn’t work on Fridays). I have left 3-4 messages I phoned the Family Health Team at 1530 to see if another appointment or prescription was in order. I was advised I was 7th in line. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone only to be then transferred to the Riverside Hospital and told the Civic Campus was closed for the day Obviously I am disappointed with the level of service provided!!! When does introduction of a new system on 1 Jun cease to an excuse

Doctors are fantastic and the residents are very good. It can sometimes be a bit of a wait to see your doctor, but if you're willing to see anyone they can usually accomodate.

Good luck even getting to speak to anyone to try and get an appointment. This place used to be so much better but now they don't even answer the phone. Was listening to hold music for over 30 minutes to try and book an appointment. Finally hung up as I think I will get seen quicker visiting the ER.

I have always had a great experience with all the doctors and staff here. Usually I have a different doctor each time I go in, but that does not mean I do not receive good care! They always listen to my concerns and help me find a solution. Even with COVID, they have been able to assist me via telephone which is great! My only complaint is that parking is hard to come by!

Doctors are always late. GP is useless. You have to be your own health advocate.

I dropped them as my primary care provider today. Maybe they work for some people, but not me. I feel I was getting equal or better care at walk in clinics.

1 additional star because we like our doctor… but should be 1 star because you can’t get a hold of them ever and when you do - the majority of the reception staff on the phone are shockingly rude.

We love this place. Staff are fantastic. We never have to wait long. Dr. Trickovich is fantastic. Always has time. Very professional, friendly and great at explaining and referring.

Hate is a very strong term to use here, but I was completely distraught by the disregard and genuine 'lack of caring' attitude demonstrated by the manager of the clinic, the Drs., and the receptionists. Two days a week availability, emergency care will be met if you can only come in after hrs. A teaching facility that ensures they receive their funding monthly whether or not you are seen by the Drs. Far too much emphasis is placed on procedure of paperwork as opposed to caring for the patient. Completely and utterly would encourage anyone to not expect real patient/Dr. interaction. A minus 10.

What's the point of having a doctor if they don't answer the phones?

Our medical system is under stress, but Family Medicine at the civic continues to provide excellent service.

I came for a visit today with nurse practitioner Caryn McKee. She was so kind, professional and caring. She really listens and makes you feel so heard and understood. She will explain with great knowledge and detail to insure sure you truly understand what is being told to you. I highly highly recommend booking with Caryn on your next visit. Thank you for listening Caryn. :)

Would give 1 start if I could. Would love to transfer out if I could, too. Dr's don't listen, nor do they know what they are doing. Literally sent the wrong prescription and incomplete blood work. Phones are a nightmare. Waited 45 min in 5th place just to be immediately transferred to an answering machine. Didn't even bother leaving a message. I doubt they care enough to even fix the issues I had. Would recommend avoiding this health team.

Always a great experience here, truly thankful for the great doctors, nurses and support staff of this facility. They were able to get me seen by a doctor and treated in a timely manner. Truly thankful and kudos!

Very poor. Impossible to communicate with. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. When getting through after hour on hold was met by impatient and arrogant nurse.

Wait times can be long, but it's a fantastic clinic. Our family has been managed there for many years

I have been on hold for close to an hour, trying to return the phone call of one your nurses. This is my second day of trying to get through. Clearly my call is not important to you (despite what your stupid recorded message says!) Seriously, you need to do something about your phone system!

It's almost impossible to get through by phone. Parking is terrible. Access is poor overall.

Constantly waiting for my appointment. While I understand the doctors are busy, when I make an appointment for chest pains, at the very least, I expect the doctor to be on time for my appointment instead of making me wait 30+ minutes and then charged $14.50 for additional parking.

10 years 7 doctors and they do not update info. I took time off work again and second time they called an old number that I have changed with them 3x to cancel on me. Looking for a new dr who treats patients like patients not a number
