    While the wait time was minimal and administrative/support staff seemed wonderful, we have just encountered one of the most unprofessional and rude x-ray technicians at this facility. She began by exclaiming her annoyance that another child was in for an x-ray, and even though we had a requisition from our MD she hummed and hawed over whether she would take him in. When she did take him into the room, she was obviously annoyed with her task at hand, asking us whether he would cooperate. I said yes, but having never had an x-ray before I asked what it would entail so I could advise our son on what to do. Apparently this was the wrong question as she was incredulous that I didn't know how an x-ray was performed (I simply didn't know if he needed to stand or lie down). I kept asking if she's only concerned about his ability to stand still and after a couple times of her ignoring me she finally said yes. Of course he can stand still so I let her know, and then she told me one parent needs to leave, as I was leaving, it was apparently not fast enough (although it was only about six steps to the door) so she said "Can you just leave so I can get on with this?". My husband advised her at this point that had she simply given us instructions without snide remarks or expecting us to be well-versed in x-ray protocol the whole process would have been wrapped up a lot sooner. It was abundantly clear she had no desire at that point to assist us; apparently her previous work experience was in a children's hospital, which surprised me - I'm surprised she has dealt with people at all in the past. To compound these issues she continued to have severe coughing fits and I did not once witness her wash her hands or even cover her mouth. I understand the stress that medical staff undergoes on a daily basis, but in my opinion this was unacceptable. I sincerely hope no one else has the misfortune of having to deal with this technician, but if you do expect to be chastised and made to feel belittled for merely being in her presence.

    Organized chaos here. Needed an urgent xray. My Dr. Faxed over the requisition. Tried to call to confirm they had it before I traveled there but the number on the website is out of service??? arrived there several hours later, had to pay for parking, stood in line for 30 mins (THANKFULLY, not longer as I was in so much pain and there are only 3-4 chairs but limited space, so understandable). Finally a receptionist came out and asked me for my requisition and I said it was faxed by my doctor. She asked when? because their fax machine hadn't been working for several weeks. Did she really think it had been sent weeks ago? I said just this morning, so you likely haven't received it right? She said right! I was so discouraged, I was in so much pain I wanted to cry. I then told her that your phone number on your website is all not working it says it's not in service. Her answer oh right, sorry? !!!!. If you can avoid this place please go elsewhere. I'm not sure if it's a company issue an employee issue or both but clearly They're not interested in caring for anyone or for your business. Is this place government run or private? Either way shameful. Look at all the other reviews. There's definitely serious issues going on here. There are many other places to go where the workers/company, care and have some compassion when dealing with patients as we are human too!

    3.5 hrs for a 5 minute xray. Saw numerous β€œpriorities” go ahead of me. I understand allowing elderly folks given a shot at jumping the line, but pepper in those who’ve waited more than an hour. Not all disabilities are visible. Felt bad for the individuals who got fed up and left, or those who were bumped from their appointments and then accused of not being on time for their appointment only to be rescheduled. Witnessed panic over lost requisitions and someone coming to return paperwork that did not belong to them. Serious overhaul needed here. Will not return.

    CMA imaging in Orleans is one of the worst run businesses in Ottawa. The staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. They lie to clients / customers about returning phone calls within 24 hours, it's been 96 hours so far and I haven't heard a peep out of these charlatans. I left 2 messages and it took me over a week to even make contact with their answering machine because their equipment is so shoddy and/or they don't even have the skill level or brains to work an answering machine. I was originally called by them to book an appointment 2 weeks ago! I no longer trust these incompetent and unqualified fools to do an ultrasound, they can't even work a voice mail!! With simple basic equipment in such a poor state and completely unprofessional and incompetent staff I highly suggest nobody give this worthless company any business. I'm leaving a 1 star review because there are no lower options.

    Accessibility: Fully accessible with automatic door. June/23 5β˜… -Very friendly admin and technicians. -Technician was experienced/knowledgeable and courteous. -Clear instructions given throughout entire visit. -Clean entry and rooms. Plenty of free parking and conveniently located. Exits onto a busy road though. I would return here again if ever I needed the same service completed.

    I telephoned and the voice message said they were busy and I had to wait due to a heavier than normal call volume, than I was told to leave a detailed message than I was immediately told that the voice mail box could not accept any more messages and I was disconnected. I telephone five time this morning with identical results each time. This is unconscionable!

    I had to get a chest x-ray, so I made sure to be there 1/2 hr. before they opened at 8:00am. The clerk arrived and unlocked the doors, inviting me in at 7:55am. I waited for the technician, who called me in, x-ray complete and out the doors in about 20 mins. Thank you very much for the great experience! I see others have had bad experiences, and I can't see why! Anyway, if you've got to get medical services without a huge crowd, this is the place to be!

    I found the technician's bedside manner to lacking in professionalism completely. Being of middle eastern background myself I found her to be rude,cold,and uncaring. I will not recommend this facility to anyone and will be looking elsewhere for my healthcare needs.

    The first time I went to the clinic for an Ecocardiogram test and they lost my result. The doctor had to call them to track the records and I only got my result a month and a half later. I called today to book an appointment and the receptionist put me on hold for 15 minutes without getting back to me, apologizing, or asking me to wait more. I was wondering all the time if she forgot about me. At the end I got sick of waiting and hung up and called another clinic. Very unprofessional staff.

    I have an aquaintance who developed a painful lump on her breast. She went to a doctor and they referred her for ultrasound and a mammogram. Needless to say she was very stressed out and eager to get this done. I gave her a lift to the appointment and she was turned away because she didn't have the original requisition so they could staple the results to it. She offered to give them an electronic version to print out. They declined and made her book a new appointment forcing her to wait on pins and needles again. A surreal and rather cold way to handle what should have been a non-issue for an already stressed-out patient. The problem is that there aren't enough of these labs so they are always backed up and have no real motivation to treat patients with any sort of dignity of compassion. Still, apparently this is the least busy of these labs and I suspect that this attitude is precisely why.

    Was not pleased with my service at all. Felt like they were going to break my ribs or my sternum and pushed harder when I said I was in extreme pain. Got annoyed when I winced in pain and told me not to move. Still sore two days later. Also commented I was late when I was there when the doors to building got unlocked. I believe it was the wrong area but sort of a blessing as I would not want that treatment on the area that was actually sending me ultrasound.

    Called over 2 weeks ago to book a routine mammo, left a message and no one has called back. Tried calling on 2 different occasions this week within work hours and both times the recording said office wad closed. Called again a few minutes ago, and of course no one answers, so left another message. Can't wait to see how long it will take for them to return my call. JUST RIDICULOUS, I feel for someone needing an appt ASAP.

    Worst place to book an appointment. You cannot talk to a live person. You get a voicemail no matter what time you call. You cannot leave a message because VM is full! I've been calling for the past 5 days now!

    Unprofessional ,Unfriendly service , was told by the worker at the desk. "Our x-ray machine is broken. You have to drive to huntclub to get an x-ray. " She didn't even give an address , I didn't bother asking, felt unwanted.

    I had an appointment for ultrasound of my leg . The lab technician who is Areb, asked me if I speak Arabic I said No. After that he didn't care much about me. He explained to me how to do the Ultrasound more than 2 minutes explaining what he wil do. I thought he will check all my leg's veins. But it didn't turned out that way. It took him less than 2 minutes to finish. He just slide his scanner under my hip until the knee and squeezed my cuff couple times and said you are done. I said have black spots and bruises on other side of my leg. He said that is not my job ask your doctor. He was kind of rude I asked him a question he said don't ask ask your doctor. It was about my veins. I don't recommend CMA because of him. I am pre sure he didn't find any clots and the doctor would believe that there is nothing wrong with my veins and would some other test to find out why my leg is swelling. People like him should not work in these places because it wil cost us taxpayers more money.

    If you want your baby's gender to be a surprise DON'T come here!!! We told the technician from the very start we didn't want to know the gender, she said she wasn't allowed to tell us anyway so no problem. Since my husband was able to see the screen, we also asked her to let us know when she was looking over the genitals so that we could look away. She assured us that we wouldn't be able to see anything and not to worry. When she got to that region, my husband saw her draw out an appendage and circle two lumps underneath, then write into the computer : xy?....... seriously lady? Wow. They completed the morphology accurately so they did their job, but I would never ever come back here or recommend, service was very disappointing.

    The sanitation of this place was appalling, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. You would think for a medical center that it would be a #1 priority. First off, x-rays should be done by appointment to not allow an accumulation of people at your clinic in a basement with no ventilation whatsoever during this pandemic. Second of all, they would ask people to sit on the chairs in the corridor and move up a chair every time someone would go in the office. THEY WERE NOT DISINFECTING THE CHAIRS. I told the lady that if people are moving up chairs every time, not only did they first sit on a chair that was not disinfected, but they kept moving up to new chairs that everyone touched prior as well. I asked her to sanitize the chairs and the girls were fighting for who would do it because "they didn't have time". Second of all, as I go in to get diagnostic imaging, the girl did not disinfect all of the pillows that people are lying on. I told her that she should and she told me that no one touches that pillow. Yes they do? All patients lay on the table and both pillows are in contact with the patient. Also, the stool they told me to stand on was not disinfected when I asked so one of the ladies gave me a spray bottle to disinfect it myself, which I did. My mom also used their services and had to remove clothing and they told her to put it on the bench in the change room which also was not disinfected when she asked if it was. So, they came in to spray it without wiping it down telling her it would dry. No excuses for this, especially during a pandemic and especially in a medical building!!! Staff should be trained on how to disinfect and safety of all of the patients should be a priority.

    After many years, I finally have a better place to go for imaging. Waited 40 minutes on the phone and was told then that they are no longer offering x-rays, so I hung up without booking the other test. I now have a brand new imaging place in Orleans that will actually book x-ray appointments together with other tests. Good riddance.

    The technician who did my ultrasound was rude and uncaring, terrible bedside manner. She managed to make an uncomfortable experience even worse, and did not respect my privacy while changing at all. Would never go here again, go somewhere where they will treat you with dignity and the technicians at least pretend to care about the patients.

    If I could give this zero stars i would I'm 20 weeks pregnant scheduled my anatomy scan they did not read the referal properly and booked me for a dating scan when I arrived they treated me like a p.o.s and told me they would re book me for two additional weeks from now refused to do any scans at all for my baby I will never return to this place it's unprofessional and they are just rude !!!! AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!

    Got there at 7:45 even though it opens at 8:00. Surprisingly the doors were open and we were able to wait inside. The reception and the technician were pleasant and professional. I was out of there 20 min later. Great service thank you.

    I called to see if I could get an x ray and bone diagnostic appointment for my wife, left a message, and they returned my call within 3 hours. I was told x ray was walk in only and I could make an appointment for bone density with the person who had called me. I was told that due to COVID 19 an x ray visit could take up to 4 hours. My wife is in a wheel chair and we found the staff to be friendly, competent and courteous. The staff was doing the best they could under the circumstances.

    Came here multiple times for ultrasounds; each time left empty handed in tears unlike any other ultrasound I have been at for pregnancies. Do yourself a favour and go to an actual womens ultrasound clinic so you can actually see your baby, hear a heartbeat, get a picture, and possibly find out the gender.

    2555 St-Joseph boul, Orleans: avoid this place.... zero service, they don’t return calls, went there as I was told it is a walk-in for x-rays, but after waited a moment, the attendant said they are closing the clinic, come back another dayΒ Β», that was at 1pm a Monday!!     Receptionist was friendly but that is all I can say good about this place. I called last week to book an appointment. Was told it’s walk-in now and that they would be open Easter Monday. I arrived at 930 am to be told they were fully booked and not accepting any more patients until maybe 1pm. So I left and came back just after noon and managed to get registered - I was very clear that I had 2 separate requisitions . A few people after me and they were again no longer accepting any more people. Felt bad for all the people that came and waited to be told to come back another day. After waiting for almost 4 hours, I was told by the X-ray tech that one of my requisitions was not in the system so I would have to come back tomorrow. WHAT!!! No, I went back to the reception and she corrected it, while others went ahead. Once this was fixed, I waited while others went. Finally saw the tech and started one of my X-rays. Then she couldn’t do the 2nd X-ray because the X-ray battery died..... WHAT!!! I just waited 4 hours and you don’t have spare batteries for your X-ray! Come back tomorrow.... no I cannot just come back tomorrow. I wasted my day and I work tomorrow, and I am not going to go thru this time waster tomorrow! On top of that, you pay for parking!

    I went in today for x rays of my spine and I was insulted as soon as the tech saw me. She said to me because of my size that she won't be able to see my spine and that usually she would make the patient turn around and go. She doesn't know my health history and not ALL people are skinny. That tech should be repremended for judging people like this. Either then that everyone else were really nice and professional.I hope that something will be done about her negative and rude attitude. Tx

    Just had my X-ray done at this clinic and it was a very pleasant experience. They did not have to take me as the walk-in was full, but they were very empathetic my situation and got me in for an X-ray. Really appreciate the kindness of the staff. Thank you

😠 We see Dr Byrne for my daughter's allergies and he is great. What's not so great is the staff. They check the voicemail messages every 2 days, which is understandable. But then they don't really get back to you. I have to leave several messages over and over again for the same thing and no call back...
