🫤 This place is cool (the concept) but it smells and feels dirty. The washroom is grosssss and the change table is even worse. I went once and will never go again or maybe try another location. People often mention kids, staff, great, year, class, classes, child, time, Starr, love,

The classes are good, but the staff are not; they moved my child to a different class-not the one we paid for- and told her she wasn't good enough.

Be careful when renting this place for your kids party. They say you have two hours, you pay for two hours but they are talking about the gym only. The room where you will have the party will be available only 50 minutes after your time start. We also talked with the staff about the possibility to add two more kids and they said it is ok and when we get to the place everything changed again. They came saying the insurance would not cover 12 kids, etc. Not recommend, very bad experience.

Both of our kids (nearly 2 and nearly 4) enjoy their weekly gymnastics classes at Starr. The coaches are great with the kids, and they make an effort to talk to the parents after class. Covid protocols are in place and we feel it's as safe as it can be.

I simply asked the office manager (Vasi) that I would like my child who turned 1 year and is still unable to walk to stay in the 0-1 year old class for at least 2-3 more months until she can walk and is comfortable to make the the switch to the 1-5 class. She generally feels more comfortable in the 0-12 class and has made friends but her safety is my biggest concern. I went to the 1-5 year old drop in with my little one and there were absolutely no kids aged one or two only 3.5 and up. She almost got trampled on by the bigger kids since she cannot walk and I stated it is a safety hazard to stay in that class which Vasi callously disregarded. I will be speaking to the safety board that regulates this organization and make sure they are aware that they are putting children in harm's way. I am astounded my request was denied even though I stated I would pay them the $5 for each class since she is past one year and their 1-5 class has that drop in fee. She stated it is not about the money it is simply policy. Each child develops at a different stage and should be accommodated accordingly since not all kids can walk at 8 or 9 months and be fully ready to move to that bigger class and run with the big kids. My bigger issue is the lack of gravity given to safety by the staff of this establishment. The office manager was unprofessional and displayed a rude and callous attitude and should be disciplined harshly and severely. I know many people with children in and around the area and will be letting them all know about my experience and will hurt the business since if they treat people like this they will not be getting my business or anyone I know and word travels fast. I absolutely do not recommend because of this experience. In response to the owner: It is extremely DISRESPECTFUL not to mention DISTASTEFUL for you to accuse me of being verbally abusive and belligerent when that is so far from the truth and is in fact a straight up lie. This is your method used in order to justify your poor decision making. My Google review is factually accurate and everything that happened was in fact mentioned for the public to view in full. Asking your office manager who is the regulatory body that oversees your company does not constitute as verbally abusive in my book and if it does in yours I think you have quite a bit of learning to do. However your office manager hanging up the phone on my wife is something you conveniently OMITTED from your distasteful remarks. You mention you also provided me with a grace period for the 0-12 program...I am sorry you mean the extra one week until the end of month....thanks a lot for not addressing the real problem listed above for you and the public to read. When I stopped by your facility in person of course I demanded to speak to someone higher, I was speaking to a 14 year old looking kid nicknamed Sunshine, so excuse me for asking for that since this kid ain't going to help out with anything. When I spoke to your location manager we actually had quite a pleasant conversation which you also OMITTED in your remarks and ended with him saying I will be contacted the following week after taking my concerns into serious consideration. Unfortunately I received the email you so happily reiterated in your response, and to that I say I have happily taken my business elsewhere and thanks for pointing me in the right direction away from Starr. Wow what a difference!! People should know the rigidity of your organization and the poor decision-making. In your response you say you provide options? The answer is, NONE!! To all customers please do yourself and your child a favor and AVOID this facility at all costs, there are so many better options within the city for gymanstics, simply pick up the phone and call. I have FILED COMPLAINTS with two different organizations overseeing the conduct including the safety standards of this company, in regards to everything they can handle this from here. Jump on the Starr free bandwagon!!!

The staff at Starr gymnastics are really amazing. They have patience when dealing with every child's specific needs and go above and beyond to make sure the kids have settled in comfortably. They even check in to ensure that the child is happy and enjoying their session. They are so organized, ensuring to follow all the newly implemented COVID precautions and procedures. Keeping everyone safe and happy! Highly recommend!

My daughters really enjoyed their gymnastics classes with Storm and she was extra patient and supportive of them. All the other staff members that we interacted with were great too. We will be back :)

My son did the Jr and Sr parkour class here, he loved it! He hadn't been able to find an activity he loved until he started this. Seeing his confidence grow has been great, super friendly staff and lots of equipment. His favourite is the trampoline foam pit

My grandchildren love their lessons at Starr Gymnastics. Their instructor Moana is friendly and welcomes them with a warm smile each week. They have evolved from being shy and apprehensive to excited and active participants in the program. I would definitely recommend Starr Gymnastics!

Amazing staff. The kids love the staff. My girl is special needs. The staff worked at her comfort level and skill level. Missy was soo sad when the classes were over. We can't wait to go back for next season

Cool place for the kids....staff needs to wear better deodorant. Some serious body odor going on in that place.

I had to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at Starr Gymnastics. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately put my child at ease. The teachers here are not only lovely but also incredibly encouraging. It's heartwarming to see how they nurture and motivate the young gymnasts.

Best gymnastics place near Kanata. They care about the kids and let them have fun at the same time. Our kids did two sessions of parkour and one of gymnastics. We tried two different places as well over the years but each them had poor coaching or supervision.

Staff are 5 star, however 1 star for letting kids with clear coughs in. Seems parents bring their kids in sick regardless of rules. Also bathroom/play area could use a good regularly cleaning. You can smell feet everywhere at 10 am in the morning.

Sparks is a highlight everytime we come in. Place is clean and kept quite tidy would be a great place for birthday parties. Absolutely comfortable to let toddlers run around as every single edge, counter, pointy thing has been covered and sealed the entire place is so baby proof

I brought my two year old to one of the drop-ins. He had a great time running around. The trampolines in the back tend to get a little crowded, but they're definitely worth waiting in line for! We understood that it was one person at a time on each of the trampolines. I guess this rule exists to minimize the likelihood of injury.

If your kid has too much energy and needs a safe, fun outlet come here. The place has trampolines and parkour lessons. Bars and ropes and tons of padding. Even a foam pit. The music is loud and it's quite busy with activity. It frankly scares the Willies out of me, but I'm easily shaken. I'd also like to mention that I've seen staff sanitizing the mats and stuff.

I used to take classes here, and it was such a wonderful experience, that I dropped off my resume, and I am now employed here! There is a wonderful positive atmosphere, and the kids constantly have smiles on their faces. Would reccomend to anyone with a child who is physically inclined.

Kids just love to run and jump around all the time! Why dont just let them for an hour!!! We were 18 kids, all between 4-6 yrs old, and they all love it! Even our 1 yr old baby had his little area set up to play with ball and foam block while the bigger one was playing. Thanks for the great Birthay Party! - Patrick & Isabel (and birthday party girl Adalie (4), Marcus (6) and Hector (1))

😠 Gym has gone way downhill since it first opened.
