The staff here is the best - whether it's recommending the right food or treats, or calming my anxious pup during his nail clipping, I've never come across a better, more helpful staff at a pet store. Their prices are also incredibly fair considering they're an independently owned business. I'll literally never go to another pet store for anything my dog needs. You can tell they love what they do!

I live 30 mins away from this store but I believe it's worth the trip. The staff are amazing - they love your pets just as much as you love your own, they're knowledgeable, outgoing, honest and friendly. I adopted a cat from this location and they were very helpful and made the adoption super easy and worry-free. They even offered advice if I ever needed. As for location, other than it being far from my house, it is easy to find and there is lot's of parking available. If you are in the Kanata area and have a pet I suggest you visit :) Thank you!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived about 15mins after they closed, and started to circle around the parking lot to leave, but one of their staff rushed out to wave me down so I could still pick up my order. I've been buying from March Road Pet for years, and am always impressed with their customer service. Thank you.

It was my first time coming to this store today and from the phone call with Donna to the service she provided ,would be a HUGE understament to say it was exceptional. Everyone working was so helpful and so nice. Donna was extremely knowledgeable and really made it easy to decide on certain things. She even carried my items to my car for me and cleaned my dogs ears .We should all be supporting this amazing business!!!

March Road Pet store's customer service is excellent, the prices pretty much the same and selection much better. We were looking for dog booties, we tried the two big box pet stores first, very small selection and no service.

I have been away from the area for a while and went back last week. So nice when things are the same. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, no over selling. Now that I am back in the area I will in the store again!

I had my 1st experience at March Road Pet Food and Grooming a few week's ago. Prior to my visit, I stumbled across their reviews, and WOW! Donna and staff totally lived up to their reputation. Super impressed, and loved how they dealt with my cat Dax, and me, expertly and professionally answering my numerous questions with extreme kindness and patience. Also loved the welcoming country like atmosphere, and overall, just how friendly everyone is. Service was above and beyond. Despite living 1/2 hour away, they are now my go to Pet store❗👍👍👏👏

After trying multiple groomers, finally my Sheltie is groomed properly. He does such a great job! All staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent service. They manage to carry a lot of inventory in that space and help you find everything. They make good suggestions for first time dog owners and obviously love animals . I wish they were in my neighborhood.

I stopped by at March road pet store after work yesterday. They have various of pet’s products at good price! The more important thing is I met a lovely cat in the store and today I decided to adopt him! Thanks all staff there for your help. I will definitely visit again.

I can even begin to explain the love I have for this place and it’s staff. I have never found a pet store as amazing as this one. I live about 35 mins away and it is so worth the commute. They are so knowledgable and are so kind to my pup. I swear I almost get more excited then my dog walking into the store with so many kind faces, how could I not?! Unbelievable - Connor and Donna helped my pup overcome an issue he’s been dealing with for five months in just one visit (we’ve been to four vets who haven’t given us results like this). They had even more recommendations which he hope to use soon enough - but it’s outstanding how kind and knowledgeable they are. Would recommend to anybody who is in need of advice!

I have to give this place a 5 star because of the service and treatment of my pup Bane. When he was little he absolutely hated the dremmel. But the man that cuts Banes nails is so kind and gentle that Bane no longer shivers out of nervousness. We drive 50 minutes to go and see him because my boy loves getting his nails cut by him, and they have an excellent selection of high quality foods and treats. Must visit.

This place is awesome. They are partner with Ottawa human society, we adopted our cat from this place. They have the best interest of your cat in their mind. Also, very good price for trimming cat nails.

I came across this place by accident and decided to book my dog in for grooming to support local businesses during this awful time we are all living in and honestly it was the best experience I’ve ever had hands down. The staff was amazing, the store is clean plus has everything you could need for your pets and the grooming was perfect (and very inexpensive to my surprise). Take the time and drive from wherever you live to bring your pets here and to buy your supplies, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve never written a review before but I had to because places like this deserve it.

Great customer service and knowledgeable! Before bringing our mastiff home, I went to a handful of pet stores trying to determine which food would fit our newest family member best, without any luck. Most pets store employees had limited, if any, knowledge of the foods. So I decided ot give this gem a call and rhe lady on the phone ( I beleive she is the owner) knew her product, and she knew it well! We've been buying our pet food here ever since. Staff is always friendly, great spot for pet loving owners!

My go-to pet store. I've been a customer for years, picking up items for my family's pets and they have always been so kind and helpful. We recently took home a puppy amid COVID-19 and being unable to shop ourselves, we knew we could trust them to get us everything we needed. And of course they did! They're also always happy to help answer any questions/give any advice on particular products, etc. They also generously donated items for a fundraiser I organized - asking for nothing in return. I could keep going! Well worth the visit.

The customer always comes first at March Road Pet Food and Grooming! All staff members are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and they always carry your heavy bags of pet food out to your car. They are well staffed and you don't have to wait for assistance or to ask a question. They also offer samples of pet foods if you want to do a "taste test" at home on your pet. They have a large selection of all pet products and will order items that are not in stock. I always leave feeling happy!
