Went there to attend a flea market. It was a good experience a lot of people and small businesses. Paid parking around. Go early as possible. It does end at 4 pm. Food vendors inside as well.

Beautiful historic building. Went to the 613 flea market and there were lots of vendors. Admission to the flea market is free. Washrooms are at the back. The Christmas market is also a great event for the whole family.

Aberdeen Pavilion is such a beautiful landmark in Ottawa. It is situated at Lansdowne Park (yellow structure) and accessible to all. This place hosts various events, with the current one being Beyond Van Gogh. My husband, 10 month old daughter and I attended this event and were blown away. It was simply remarkable to attend an art event and feel as though you experienced a part of history without actually seeing any of the original works. The immersive experience was spectacular and we would love to experience that again. Our daughter was also captivated at the movement of the art work. Great job!! Get tickets for an afternoon visit!!

The Aberdeen Pavilion is always an excellent place to attend hosted and organized events! I have been visiting this spot for the Christmas farmers market, which is full of local artists and food stores of all types. The Beerfest event is also quite the draw and has always been a great time.

Very nice farmer’s market, had a lot of great things. Must visit. We were also able to see the Christmas market that was happening near by.

Christmas Market was humming with lots of people present enjoying the food, mulled wine, and fire pits. At great place to spend the evening.

The Aberdeen Pavilion is a nice historic building in the heart of Landsdown. In the winter the Farmer's Market is held inside of the Pavilion rather than outdoors. It also hosts a lot of events throughout the year. Depending on the event you may have to pay to get in, but the Farmers market in the winter is free. Sometimes in the winter in the past year or two there is a winter market outside. Definitely worth visiting.

Went to see the Van Gogh exhibit and loved it! It was like walking through time and very interactive with the paintings. If you missed it and it returns again in the future, I highly recommend you go experience it.

Been here for a few events, the renovations were great, shame the rest of the development is a bit of a flop... geared to make money, over something that would better suit the location.

  • 4/5 Jamieson R. 2 years ago on Google
A bit of old Ottawa to enjoy. Glad the city preserved this Victorian icon.

  • 5/5 Bonnie T. 2 years ago on Google
Such an exciting and fun outdoor space to be (TD Place) after the redo. Lots of walking space, outdoor areas, shops restaurants etc. Aberdeen Pavilion is the same as it always was, we went for the Beyond van Gogh exhibit.

We went here for the indoor and outdoor venue for the Christmas market. What great ambience, old time architecture to get you in the mood for Christmas. They had various crafts, food and drink to purchase and to sample. The outdoor fire bowls were a nice touch to add even more enjoyable visit.

613 Flea. Amazing Market with awesome merchants! Dog friendly too! Sirano loves going to get his bones and to socialize!

  • 5/5 John M. 1 year ago on Google
Visited the Saturday morning market here recently. A very diverse range of goods sold here: breads and other baked goods, game, fruit&veg, etc. One stall sells hot apple cider to enjoy while browsing. One of my favorite stalls was The House of "Pain"; ask for Louis. His breads are first rate.

Great place for all kinds of events. And especially this week for the world famous Original 16 Patch!! Great atmosphere for watching matches, enjoying a pint or pop with friends and rubbing elbows with the best curlers in the world!! Food trucks on site offer great selections- I highly recommend a Roost poutine (vegetarian gravy).

The sellers at the kiosks are very friendly knowledgeable about their products. The band playing in Aberdeen Pavillion attracted different age groups of people. It was wonderful to see the Christmas 🎄 tree light up on the west side of the Pavillion. Geez, this tree was at least fifty feet high as I stood near it 😳 😅. And yes, you can also see a bit of Santa Claus 🧑‍🎄 on the right side of the Christmas tree 🎄.

  • 5/5 E V. 4 months ago on Google
The event organisers allowed pets during the Christmas fair, which was great. Also, calling it "Christmas" something nowadays is also an achievement, since everybody is so afraid to describe something as "Christmas-y". The place was clean, warm, and the stalls had amazing products. I liked many products quite a lot, but I couldn't afford to purchase many things, as most were pricey.

Was great family fun... nostalgic with infectious energy... great music, koodos to the DJ... thanks to all the volunteers... their energy was amazing... slight lack of process and organization for entry but everyone managed as efficiently as they could, tip of the hat for that!!! Next opportunity that may come I will be sure to register ahead and opt for the later times in darkness as to enjoy the lights adding the disco touch to the nostalgia a bit more... GREAT FUN... CHEERS and à la prochaine

Totally enjoyed the Christmas market. A lot of vendors from fresh vegetables and fruits to local products such as jams, honey, maple, soaps, jewellery and wood artisans, fresh breads, home made pet snacks, cookies, pastries, crafts and more. Musicians and balloon artist and a wagon ride just added to the beautiful atmosphere. Great job everyone and thank you for the experience!

This is an amazing event that I believe Ottawa was missing before. The market is held on a Saturday once a month from 10-4. It is always free admission and worth the visit. There are over a 110 vendors with a wide variety of merchandise. The deals are amazing. There is ample street and underground parking. If you are also doing some groceries at Whole Foods or the LCBO be sure to get your parking ticket stamped for a reduced rate (free) The Aberdeen Pavilion is a beautiful historical site on its own to see and the facilities are wheel chair accessible. Friendly dogs are welcome as well(on leash). The isles are kept clear and easy to maneuver through.

It's a big, open space. I don't see why it's an historic landmark. It's not that great... it's just old.
