Favorite cinema to watch any movie. The sound, the space, the comfort, the popcorn and drinks, games - in short everything is nice about it. This is always on first priority when it comes to see movies. And the bundle package is worth buying which includes the movie tickets, popcorn and drinks (medium) for two people.

Our favourite Ottawa cinema: friendly staff, clean theatre and washrooms, fun games, variety of vending machines, large selection of drinks and refreshments and bar πŸ‘

Very clean and organized theatre. The lazy boy reclining chairs were amazing, and made the movie watching experience so much better! We had a small incident with management but upon contacting higher management they helped resolve our problem quickly and professionally.

I have never seen a theater with a concession stand like this. It was massive, just like a corner store. I would have preferred fresher popcorn, as they keep it in a warming fridge, but it didn't change the taste too much. The theater was very clean and well maintained, even the washrooms. There are multiple parking lot options. The theater is accessible.

It had been about 4 yrs since I had visited this theatre and things have changed. I don't really like the concession area. It was not clear how it works and it was very busy. You have to grab your own popcorn, candy or drink and get in line to pay at the checkout. In the movie theatre, the screen, sound and seating were great.

Such an amazing experience. We reserved the premiere seats for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Felt so much more comfortable , spacious and nicer than the regular seats. They come equipped with reclining seat warmer, coat hanger, side table with under storage and cup holders. I highly recommend this Cinema.

Me and my son got the opportunity to go and see Spider-Man on the weekend. It is an absolutely amazing theatre. First you walk in and are very kindly greeted, next you are able to get your choice of a lot of different snacks ! From popcorn to pizza even an yummy pretzel dog to my sons favourite Candy! The self serving pop machine gave so many choices to choose from !!! The cash registers had full employees services and it made for the long lines to quickly pass ! Without delay we got to our theatre and sat in the absolute amazing reclining chairs!!! Yes I said RECLINER!!!!! It felt like I was sitting on my own couch in great comfort watching a well enjoyed movie with my son! We had tons of room and the theatres were clean and just perfect for our lovely experience! Mommy and son date part 2 will definitely happen again! We will be sure to return more often now the restrictions eased and we can eat and drink while In attendance at the movies !!! Yummy popcorn ! See you all there !!

Landmark Cinemas Kanata have nailed the movie watching experience! From the comfy recliner seats, online seat reservations to the buffet style snack area. Landmark has improved the way people watch movies at the theatre. They have respectful staff and a clean facility. Thanks for giving us a way to escape from the craziness of this past year.

Friendly and helpful staff, convenient self-checkout kiosks (can also buy tickets online), and organized! Also has the cushiest recliner seats providing a little TOO much comfort to maximize your movie experience (excluding IMAX).

I would give it a 5 stars, because this place is very clean, love those recliner chairs, respectful of Covid distance (reserve on-line 1st is my suggestion) and staff is good, but we went in for an IMAX experience, and the sound was above what you call loud, louder then a big concert, wish I would been able to measure the level of noise to see if it was legal! As a result, me and my kids couldn't stand it and all had anxiety and my daughter was crying and she's 12 years old. I went to IMAX before at other location, it wasn't as loud! We went to customer service and they did lower it a tiny bit, but still too loud. The staff was amazing, refunded us, and we bought regular tickets without IMAX and we just went to see the same movie "Jungle Cruise", and all was good after that. After the movie, we always stop at the little arcade because my son adore basketball and we all love the air hockey table.

A few days ago, I bought popcorn and soft drinks. I went to see Avatar 2 and the movie was amazing! The cinema was clean and well-organized. I would like to come back one day to see another movie if I am interested.

Best theater experience in ottawa. The seating, staff and experience FAR outweighs anything cineplex could ever imagine creating. It's clear that management at Landmark care about the experience infinitely more than any other theater and major props is due to them for that. Staff are friendly Free refills on popcorn and drinks with a free membership is a huge bonus considering the absurd price concessions are at any theater. Restaurants are nearby which makes for a great evening with dinner and a movie. Overall 8/10 seating could make a bit more sense as in most cases seats on the far ends of the rooms really don't make any sense since you have to basically turn your head 45Β° to watch something which isn't great.

The new seats are amazing and provide a lot of leg room. They can be adjusted so you’re tilted back but not all the way flat. The cinema is located near a variety of restaurants and shopping. Parking is free but might be further then usual for someone who has trouble walking far. I would definitely recommend this theatre to any movie buffs.

It's a treat to go to the movies. Like the concession layout. They even serve alcohol. It's too bad the popcorn area always looks like a war zone lol. The theaters are relaxed. You are not packed in like sardines. Really like the power recliners making movies a lot more comfortable to watch. Some recliners are showing their age now though so maybe time to do some re-upholstering. Overall a great theater.

Great comfy seats in the premium theatre. Lots of theatres, so there are many movies showing over a day. Good location, surrounded by many interesting restaurants. Clean washrooms. Like all theatres, the movie sound can be loud if you have sensitive ears, so I brought some earplugs to dampen the noise.

For one who goes to cineplex, this new theater will be my all time favorite. They're cheaper to go to, the reclining seats were awesome and the popcorn/snack set up was odd at first, but it's a neat concept. If we get any Landmark Cinemas in my home town I will be going there

We went to see Iron Claw tonight but due to technical issues we weren’t able to enjoy the full movie . The manager was able to turn a negative experience into a positive one for us. Great customer service from the manager :) thank you to both the manager and the staff at the front desk for your understanding :)

From the seamless online movie selection to easy parking access, every step of my experience at this top-notch theater is a pleasure. The welcoming doors usher me into a haven of entertainment. The concession area is a treasure trove of delights, from delicious popcorn to tempting candies and refreshing fountain drinks. I consistently discover hidden gems to enhance my movie experience. Quick service and friendly staff make wait times negligible. The plush, reclining seats provide comfort similar to sitting on a spacious couch. Every visit to this theater is a treat, and I eagerly anticipate more memorable nights here. Highly recommend this outstanding venue for an all-around enjoyable cinematic experience.

Our go to place with kids. The reclining seats are a winner but the concessions are extremely expensive. Every time we end up paying more than the tick price for food. Also the Atom points system is gone and you can add concessions on the app either. We really liked referring people to go to Landmark cinemas for all the perks and ease but not anymore.

Amazing staff! Dwight is an amazing worker that helped me with all the questions I had! He's very patient, understanding and helpful! I really enjoyed coming here! The food area has a million different things and the whole cinema is clean! I'm definitely coming back! I want to say thank you to all the staff! I definitely recommend coming here, even if it's far from home...we drove 1 hour to come here and I want to come back! The cinema is very accessible to everyone...if you do have a mobility aid the bottom row has seats with spaces in between where you can but your mobility aid or if you are sitting in your mobility aid! The seats are very comfortable and they are recliners so you can get as comfortable as you want!

Obviously over priced food like every movie theater. But the seats are great very comfortable. Everything is very organized and easy. Very tidy and nice staff. My only complaint would be that the IMAX theater actually hurt my ears it was so loud at one point, and I listen to music very loud so it's pretty intense.

  • 3/5 Fiona P. 2 years ago on Google
I found it really strange that you had to open doors to select your popcorn that multiple other people have just touched. Also you pour your own drink and have to lift a lid to select a lid and touch a screen multiple other people have just touched. I don't think it's very safe but the social distancing in the theater itself was good.

Very nice for a suburban chain movie theatre. The reclining seats and competitive Tuesday deals are great, and I also like that they do show some foreign films with subtitles. My only criticism is that sometimes these foreign films and other special screenings are just for one day, but that is still more than I expected.

  • 5/5 Alaaeddin A. 1 year ago on Google
Landmark Kanata is my favorite. Great location, lots of parking, amazing recliner seats, spectacular online booking system. I like to go there on Tuesdays for the 40% discount ! A variety of delicious snacks and some arcades in case you get their early and want to kill some time before your show starts. Enjoy !

Love this theatre. Screens are on the smaller side but the layout of the place is nice. Fun, relaxing place to spend a rainy weekend viewing movies. Their fountain drink section is awesome.

  • 5/5 Mark S. 1 year ago on Google
I have seen four films at the Kanata Landmark over the summer. The seating is very spacious and comfortable. The quality of projection and sound was excellent (perhaps a bit quiet for one film). The process of booking seats and paying ahead of time is simple and effective. Staff are friendly, but I rarely needed to interact with staff. The only complaint that I had was on an early matinee – likely the first showing of the day in that cinema – where the lights were left on for the beginning of the film. This was promptly resolved once we brought the issue to their attention. I am confident that this sort of problem is rare. Landmark has set a high bar for today’s cinematic experience. It is unlikely that I will se a film elsewhere unless it is not showing here.

Fantastic facility. Best IMAX screen in Ottawa. Large, comfy, roomy chairs. Pretty clean and modern. Love the convenience store aspect of the consessions. And free refills on Large soda and large popcorn with their free rewards card.

Well done all the time. Seating is incredibly comfortable and spacious. Like your own living room. Went on a weekday and I had plenty of distance from others.

  • 5/5 Joshua M. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice huge theater that always plays about 2 dozen movies each day including weekdays, so you always have different choices - and usually at least 5 that exclusively play nowhere else in Ottawa. The layout is really cool, there's multiple aisles you can walk down to get to auditoriums, the place you get concessions at is like a mini candy store, and there are arcade machines spread across the building. I rarely get the opportunity to go but it's worth it for me to spend a 2 hour commute to get there.

  • 5/5 Kira 1 year ago on Google
Truly enjoyed my movie experience here. The seats are so comfortable. I love that they have made the whole consession stand set up quicker and more functional with the grab and go to the cash method. But the seats were my favorite part. Plus the floors actually weren't sticky which is always a bonus!

  • 5/5 Mitch J. 1 year ago on Google
6 stars. Cineplex, eat your heart out! The concession area is phenomenal. Tons of selection, very well spaced out and organized, and Coca-Cola Freestyle machines which are great! Plus, if you are a member, you get free refills on large popcorn and drinks. Remember when that used to be the standard?! Lastly, a single line, multi register queue to ensure that guests are attended to quickly and fairly. Now for the theater itself. The COMFIEST seats I have ever had, with adjustable power reclining and amazing leg room. The lights during the movie were a bit brighter than I'm used to, but that might be for the best because otherwise I might have fallen asleep in the chair! It's almost like someone had a list of everything people hate about movie theaters and vowed to do the exact opposite. My only complaint is that this location is 1 hour away from my house; if Landmark opened one closer I'd be tearing up my Scene card!

Saw Elvis, Sunday Jan 29 at noon, D3, D4. We had the whole Theatre 18 all to ourselves, my wife and I. What could be better? But I do have suggestions. 1. Sound volume for the very long, too long, commercials preceeding the movie was MUCH TOO LOUD!!! 2. And, the last speaker near the ceiling, closest to the projection room above the entrance/exit, has an annoying buzzing sound. It is probably a result of a blown coil or cone because of the excessive volume at times. The movie was enjoyable.

I love this theatre. It was our first visit and I’ll definitely return. The staff were friendly, the leather reclining chairs were comfortable and there were free refills on large size popcorn and fountain drinks. We used a Costco Night Out gift card which saved us a bunch of money.

Great place. I love the movies and me and my boyfriend come here constantly. (2+ times a month when allowed) the food section is great because i can just choose what I want and get in line. I would suggest maybe drink trays or a bag or something people can put snacks and candies in so they are easier to carry around. Trust me, if I could carry more I would get more. ( I do use the little cardboard trays and they are nice but I’m scared to drop some things)

I went shortly after the reopening and was very satisfied with the safety measures they are taking. Everything has been thought through in regard to sanitisation. They also showed screenings of older movies for dirt cheap. I saw the extended edition of Lord of the Rings the Two Towers with my dad for a grand total of $5.98 (they had a deal on Tuesdays) The only slight complaint is the food prices but even they aren't too bad considering ticket prices. Great place to watch a movie.

Best move theatre in Ottawa: massive with lots of seat room - all recliner - and movies viewing times. Very clean and strict on COVID safety measures, making it very reassuring for my family. Pretty good selection of food and drinks, even with the pandemic restrictions.

This theatre rocks. The renovations were spectacular. The new vending area is cool, and I'm sure leads to more impulse buying but the selection is incredible. Of course normal movie theatre prices, but that is to be expected. They also now serve beer and wine which is a nice addition. The seating is comfortable, reclining and it feels private even when someone is beside you. Favourite theatre in town.

Some of the seating and screens are terrific!!! Unfortunately, the snack prices are way too high so I bring my own. They have an amazingly easy online ticket purchase system which allows you to reserve your seat in advance, without the need to create an account. Nice, clean cinema with an oddly quiet clientele compared to other neighbourhoods I've gone to watch movies. Apart from snack prices, I don't see how a movie theater experience could get any better.

Just not quite at the same level as Cineplex yet. The ease of finding a movie, theatre, or reserving ahead with Cineplex is something Landmark needs to apply. Most of the theatres I have been to, including this one, were very appealing as far as set up and decoration in common areas.
