I love this spot!!! They are a little bit out of the way, but so worth visiting for authentic Mexican food. Their quesabirria tacos are the best in Ottawa. Only downside is that the backyard patio always seems to be closed whenever I visit despite being advertised as open on their social media. Definitely call ahead of time if you are looking to dine in their back patio.

First time in, ordered take out, didn’t know what to get but wanted to try a many things. 😍 loved it. Tried 4 tacos with the first four options listed in the fillings, tamals were still hot when I brought them home. The horchata was so refreshing and smooth, I’d love to come back and enjoy all this on their patio when the weather is warmer.

Loves these tacos! My friends from Mexico told me these are pretty good authentic tacos! I loved the customer service and the decor inside. Small dining area but most people do take out I believe. The Birria tacos are delicious along with the shrimp taco! Guacamole was also good! Prices were fair. Would recommend and come again.

The Mexican chaps dining inside indicated this is the best Mexican restaurant in all of Ottawa. Nice fully shaded patio in the backyard of the early 1900's house that houses the restaurant. It's 32°C today in Ottawa and the restaurant is not air conditioned so dining on the patio is a must. I went for the Quesabirrias at the recommendation of the counter attendant. Initially I was concerned given the oily / soggy appearance but the dish was absolutely fine. As the menu clearly states it's drenched in consomme during preparation. Friendly staff. Would most definitely return.

Really delicious and authentic tasting food! Lots of options and pretty fair prices. The establishment is pretty small so it’s not the best sit down formal place but for a quick bite it does the job. The people working were nice but definitely busy with takeout orders so we had to wait a bit for them to take our order. Good cane fast though and definitely want to come back to try more items in the future!

This is the second time this week we've come, since discovering it! All the tacos are tasty, but our favourite is the asada. Taco combo is a fantastic deal. Didn't take pictures of the chips or churros. They didn't last long :)

We shared everything to taste different options, we tried the Quesabirrias- beef (WOW!) delicious!! Pastor, lamb and shrimp taco with guacamole and chips. Our fave was the lamb and quesabirrias thé consommé was amazing. Guac was fresh! Churros were also yummy. Definitely the best Mexican street food I’ve had. Will be back.

Small and cozy , limited seating, friendly staff and great prices . Guacamole was missing lemon lime and salt. Had more tomatoes and onions than avocados. 1/5 Burrito was very good 5/5 Tacos were pretty good. 3/5 Tamale 2/5 Not sure if I would try this place again. But give it a shot if you’re in the area .

Wanted authentic Mexican street tacos and got them here at this restaurant. The pastor filling had chunks of fresh pineapple and the meat had a nice flavour to it. The black bean, avocado filling was a hit also with my vegetarian daughter. Although the tacos look small they are filling. The guacamole and chips are also a great accompaniment to their tacos. If you love authentic Mexican food this is the place to eat at.

I don't know if my experience was different because i got takeout, but honestly, after reading all of the 5 star reviews i was really disappointed with everything. The steak tacos were really tasteless. The burritos were also labeled wrong and the one that wasn't supposed to have cheese had cheese in it. The burrito overall was also tasteless. However, the guacamole was super tasty and amazing. The soup with pork was also really good. But for an $80 order, this was really disappointing.

My husband and I really love mexican foods. He really loves birria tacos. That's why when we went to Ottawa he saw this authentic mexican restaurant. We went for a late lunch-early dinner there. It was Thursday, and they have this deal every Thursday, 2 Quesabirrias just for 13cad or something. It's cheap but the quality is sooooo good. I had chicken quesadillas, and it's one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. We had those partnered with our favorite mexican soda, the Jarritos. 🤍 We also ordered dessert, their churros and tres leches cake. It's our 1st time to have crispy and so good churros!! Also, we love the vibe of the restaurant. It's small, but filled with good ambiance. The staffs are so nice and accommodating. You can hear them sing and enjoy their shift. I highly recommend this place. Didn't disappoint! Would love to be back and bring our friends with us.

We agreed to have Mexican food and I had heard and read a lot of really good feedback about Sí Señor. So glad we came! The food was on point, the drinks - AMAZING, the atmosphere- nothing I have ever experienced before and it made me feel like I was in Mexico 🇲🇽 Highly recommend Sí Señor, and they can expect me back again for sure!

The atmosphere was ethnic and the food was delicious. It will take you from the streets of our downtown neighbourhood to the street food of Mexico. The pricing is very good. We had Tortilla soup and the Wednesday $10.00 large Burrito. Homemade ingredients and Latin flavours.

I had the pleasure of dining here with a friend for lunch, and neither one of us was disappointed! Everything was sinfully good- the margaritas were not watered down, the tacos were seasoned to perfection, and the churros were absolutely delicious!! The service was great, we arrived just before a big group but our meals still came to the table hot! They have indoor seating, two patios, and street parking. Highly, highly recommended if you are in the mood for good comfort food 🔥🔥

I can only speak to the burritos, maybe the tacos are really good, I haven’t tried them, but I was really disappointed with the burritos we tried, especially considering all the five star reviews. Firstly, I ordered everything on them, but there was no guacamole or sour cream, minimal cheese, and SO MUCH RICE. Over all it tasted pretty bland and was basically a wrap of rice and beans with a little meat. I understand maybe burritos aren’t their specialty, but these were a massive letdown.

Every week or two my 9 year old son and I take "Food Walks" where we walk around for a few hours, talk about life, explore, joke, play and try a new restaurant we have never tried before (its nice to have over 100+ restaurants and cafes within walking distance from our home). Sí Señor has hands down been one of our favourites and one of our biggest extremely pleasant surprises. The food is delicious and tasted authentic homemade and made with care. The decor in the take out area shocked us with how cool it was and how much we enjoyed all the interesting things we could absorb, from art, to statues, to Mexican treats and much more. The owner seems like a genuinely kind guy, and equally important, seems to really take pride in his business and really care about delivering the best food and experience possible. I remember thinking to myself, "This is an intelligent guy who genuinely cares". There are not enough businesses these days where the business owners truly care about giving the best they possibly can. This is one of them. I try to run my own business in that way as well, so it really resonated with me and I deeply appreciated it. We cannot wait to come back again and try more flavours that this wonderful gem on Rideau has to offer!

WONDERFUL TACOS for an unbeatable price. Tried this place for the first time, I will be back for Taco Tuesday every week. The double tortilla is a nice touch, and the hot sauce is so flavourful. Cochinita Pibil was my favourite, but I will be back to try every taco on the menu. Their meats are very high quality, and you can really taste the passion and care in the food. Best tacos I've had in Ottawa, I do wish they had Mexican corn on the menu.

I have taken their service for number of times. They have never disappointed me by the quality and quantity of the food compared to the price. I would personally recommend their Mix (Chicken + Lamb) Burrito which I personally feel one of a kind !! Tacos are yummy. Their service is too good when I eat inside. I have no idea how I'm only discovering this place now but I'm happy I did. Completely satisfied after first visit. We had tacos Al pastor, carne asada, cochinita pibil, tripa , sudadero and tongue . They were terrific and all infused with their unique favour. My absolute fav was tripa ( which is not officially in the menu) and the cochinita . The Green salada was the right spice level. I agree with others, this is the most authentic tacos in Ottawa. Worth the visit !

The pork al pastor had no flavour and the pineapple very canned. They also shorted us two tacos of the ones we ordered. The guacamole was really short on avocados. We had a wonderful dinner at Sí Señor. They have an outdoor patio that can transport you to a Mexican fonda. We tried the taco combo, the cheese poblano Tamal and the Quesabirria which where delicious. The salsas were delicious and the serving sizes very fulfilling. They have Mexican drinks like Jarritos and the combo includes a little churro for dessert. Great and quick service. If you are eco conscious bing your own cutlery to avoid the plastic. Definitely will visit again.
