A very solid breakfast. Good service, kitchen was quick with my order and made my breakfast as I requested. Was served by Cindy personally, which I absolutely loved - clearly pride of ownership and quality. She engages with her patrons and seems to know most by first name. It was steady business throughout my experience - a very good indication of happy repeat customers. Ample parking. #localguide

Loved the friendly staff and the speed of the kitchen to send out the food. Tried the cheeseburger, and the club sandwich. The cheeseburger was tasty, but the patty was a bit thin. The fries are thick and fresh. The club didn't have much flavor, but it is made with a real chicken breast which is great. The garlic dressing for the salad was very good. Definitely try out Cindy's place when you're in the area!

Great family run restaurant tucked in just off of Hunt Club. If you're looking for a great breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant this is your place. Club house was just what i craved 👌. Hats off to the team for the great service and food. Can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Excellent! Would have never known this place existed until a coworker brought me her for lunch. Very cute place and the staff is super friendly and the food was excellent! Even took a brownie back with me to have with my afternoon coffee Will definitely be going back for some office luncheons!

So happy to have stumbled upon this place. We went in for breakfast and had coffee in front of us within a minute of arriving. Breakfast was just as quick and everything was delicious. Best home fries I have had in years. Proper diner fare and good sized portions. Excellent service and even with lots of customers it was nice and quiet.

Cindy and George were very kind to us on our first visit to this little gem tucked away off of Hunt Club Road. My father and I had the fish & chips and the Greek wrap with fries and coleslaw. Delicious food, wonderful service and great prices. Thanks for a fantastic lunch!

Price is excellent, Quality is excellent, Speed is excellent. I thought restaurants could only choose 2, Cindy's is all 3. Fantastic joint, if you want a simple meal, come here. Bonus points from a follow up visit, they happily allow modifications. Great vibe.

Was writing a review for another diner and was about to compare to 'The Village Terrace' when I remembered it was now Cindy's Restaurant and that I never left a review. Have lunch here more than I have eaten at home over a lifetime and the best diner food in Ottawa and Cindy is the best (you too George :) ) Hope you're all doing well, I work downtown these days otherwise will try to drop by if I'm in the area. We were too late for breakfast. I didn't want to eat meat so I ordered chips and salad. My friend was a regular and they already knew what he wanted, coffee cups were refilled ads they were emptied, without further cost. My salad was like homemade and even had broccoli. Loved it!

Have been eating at Cyndy's since 2009, always a great experience, good home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Super friendly staff, a family enterprise, you will never be disappointed. Healthy choices such as their fantastic salads, and always three specials (soup and sandwich) at less than $10.00 including taxes and tip. You will love the restaurant and the people as I do. Always copies of the paper available for reading if you go alone.

The absolute best chicken wrap I’ve ever had. I am totally amazed. Every single bite was perfect. Every single ingredient fresh and delicious. Perfect flavour. Perfect portion. Their fries are great too of course, fresh cut. In house gravy and garlic sauce for the wrap. It’s hands down the best. BEST. Unbelievable. You have to try it.

Wow, that was great. Picked up a breakfast special with sausage and over easy eggs. The potatoes are spectacular, sausage is very tasty, and the eggs were runny. Will be happy to come back to this spot.

Fantastic spot that I found online when looking for a different venue for lunch. Great food, great service and great value! A colleague and I both had the Steak Wrap special that came with homemade pea soup , fresh cut fries and coleslaw. Both of us are big eaters and for under $15 before tip to be full is a ++ We will def be back again...in fact we already know we are ordering the Ultimate Club Sandwich next visit!

This is a classic 'working man's Cafe'. if you don't know what that is, this might not be the place for you😉. But we love them. They have regular customes for decades. The friendly service, honest food at an honest prices, and atmosphere are the polar opposite of pretentious.

Great little spot run by Cindy and George (and I think Cindy's mother). The food is always great and it will be ready faster than you expect. And there is always ample parking.

The price is amazing for the portions and quality you get. I am so happy I found this place, the cooks are amazing. The staff on the other hand, are always super friendly and know their stuff. This place deserves every star.

Called in 15 min before close to see if I could order a wrap for pickup. Within 10 minutes Cindy made me one of the best chicken wraps I’ve ever had and some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

Breakfast was delish! loved the home fires..cooked on the grill, not deep fried...and they ask if you want onions with them or not.. Will definitely go back, want to try lunch sometime too :-D
