πŸ‘ A quiet gem. Sadly it was hit by the May 2021 storm and a number of trees have been uprooted and damaged. Bring insect repellent. It's worth it though. People often mention trails, walk, trail, Great, beautiful, hike, easy, Beautiful, area,

This place is absolutely awesome. It's an actual real life Forest the walk is a real-life Forest walk there are Critters everywhere lots of birds lots of chipmunks funnily enough the most of the Chipmunks around the Chipmunk Trail. It's an easy hike cuz most of the terrain is flat but it's absolutely beautiful there's flora and fauna glor and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone you can choose from 1 km to 20 it just doesn't matter it's awesome

Fun walk - good trail to hit before the snow. I will explore again after we get a bit more snow.

Wonderful nature experience within the city, lots of different plants and animals. Trails are always accessible and easy to walk.

Great place for a hike and bike ride. Just be careful at the moment as the trails are closed as there are quite a few fallen trees on the path after the wicked storm we had a couple of weeks ago.

Beautiful short trail, ideal for a breath of crisp forest air on the way home from a day at the office.

Great spot to get your outdoors fix... Snowshoeing and xc skiing was on our day's menu and these trails provided everything needed.

Nice set of hiking trails. There is a boardwalk where necessary, but mostly natural or Rocky trails. Relatively flat. There are a few geocaches sprinkled around the area for those into that sort of thing. Lots of chickadees out and about at the moment, along with some squirrels. Good family location.

In need of serious repair and care, unsafe for anyone with even mild walking issues. Walkway is very narrow and there are frequently people on bikes where you have to jump off the boards to get out of their way. Leashed dogs allowed during certain months.

Boardwalk is in need of some repair. But otherwise a nice trail, with lots of water this time of the year.

Amazing trail. Really fun for kids. They spent quite while playing on the rocky open area. Fairly easy to navigate as well.

Nice network of trails for walking, biking, skiing or snowshoeing.

Absolutely beautiful in winter or summer. In winter be careful because it can be treacherous as there is a wooden walkway over the swamp that gets covered in snow. But such beautiful trees!

The trails aren't super interesting. The area is flat and wooded so not much to see. But the trails are in impeccable condition and it's a nice place to walk and see critters and birds.

Great trails! Cool Boardwalks. These trails go for great distances! You can get all the way into the subdivision to the west a variety of ways!

Such a beautiful place to embrace nature and take in all its beauty. Chickadees come right to you, squirrels and chipmunks are very tame. Lots of acreage to cover and beautiful walk through the marshy areas and forestry.

There are some seriously stunning views in here. Feels like you're in Algonquin Park in a few places. Rode my bike through here for years (best to have a mountain or fat bike with good suspension, they aren't kidding about the 'stony' part. Try to find the actual swamp, and paths around it, it never gets old. The variety of canopy, deer everywhere, it's one of the best in the area.

Lots of fun, on well marked trails. Snowshoeing or classic skiing. Great fun outdoors.

A lot of trails and quite a large area to explore. The maps are a bit confusing and the trails not very well delineated so it's easy to veer off course if you are not paying attention. The trails I've done have all been flat, so not super strenuous. Just a note, bug spray is essential!
