Extremely disappointed in the experience with Lady Dive tours. This was our first time in Ottawa as a family. The tour guide on the hop on hop off tour had a very thick French accent. She spoke too fast and not loud enough for us to even hear where to get off! We missed all of the tourist attractions we wanted to go to, as she did not announce the bus stops clearly. It was a complete waste of our time and money, as we were only in Ottawa for one day. I will not be recommending this tour bus to anyone. In addition, the lady on the Rideau Canal cruise was clearly racist and lacked crowd management skills. She yelled at my mom for not standing in line (we are Indians) while a bunch of tourists (group of white people) in front of us were standing as a group.She only asked my mom to move out of all the people who were standing in groups. She created a scene and embarrassed us in front of the other tourists. Again, extremely disappointed in the customer service. I live in Toronto and I always believed that Canada was respecting and open to other cultures. I am upset that my family got to see this side of Ottawa on their first visit. We had a wonderful tour on the Hop On Hop Off bus. We just stayed on. Excellent your guide. Very informative. We were so excited about going on the "Duck Boat" as soon as we got off the bus tour. Unfortunately, when we got to the kiosk we found out it had been cancelled due to mechanical problems. They had tried to call to let us know. It is better to be safe than sorry I know, but the disappointment was huge. Thankfully they caught the problem.

We went on a double decker bus tour as an end of year class trip, and then brought friends from out of town on Lady Dive. Samuel was our guide both times, and we had a great experience on both. Samuel and Captain Keith were both so friendly and knowledgeable, we all learned so much and the kids made amazing memories.

Showed up early for our time slot and they asked if we'd like to join the tour that was just leaving as they had open seats available. We took them up on their offer not realizing the back seats wouldn't be as good as the front seats. We missed most of what the tour guide said as the engine was so loud we couldn't hear her. The tour was still fun but I wish we would have waited as we would have gotten seats at the front closer to where the tour guide was standing.

It started with an idea to enjoy the wonder that is the capital of Canada , unsuspectingly devolving into calamity. My tour group purchased 6 lady dive tickets for $200 entrusting lady dive, knowingly expecting a bus tour but unknowingly walking into the arms of a succubus business strategy. Our tour was to start at 3:30, we arrived punctually at around 3:20. Unfortunately rain descended upon the city with ferocity likely provoked by bad omens. Umbrellas flew, bodies hit the floor. We planned on seeking shelter in the bus, but the inside was full. Like a sign from the gods(old and new), the rain transformed into hail as the government issued warnings to the population of Ottawa to seek shelter from the vicious storm. We called lady dive for a refund but we were met with the unreasonable gate keeping. He refused to refund us even prior to the start of the tour, despite being unable to enjoy the tour due to the hail. I suspect he had our $200 earmarked for a fancy purchase. I’m spinning from the anger and quite honestly I’m dizzy from it. I hope to be made whole one day. The silver lining to the situation is that my pursuit for justice will bring me the satisfaction of victory. My life now has new meaning and I feel revitalized and ready. Edit: they refunded me, I will be spending the money on crocs and premium medication.

This location is a major letdown, to put it simply. I'm writing this comment based on my own personal experience as well as the experiences of seven other families that travelled with me. We booked tickets for this lady dive tour last week, and we drove all the way from Quebec just for it. When we arrived, the company informed us that they are unable to let us in due to some technical issues, which was a huge disappointment because they did not inform us about it. I strongly advise against purchasing tickets for these trips because the customer service and everything about this place just sucks! Please, if the employees don't know how to deal with customers, I respectfully request that you fire them and shut your company off.

People on the bus are way too loud, we couldn't hear or stay connected with our guide. The bus was stuffy with no air conditioning, it was raining outside so we couldn't open the windows. The rain was pouring on my sister in law from a crack in the roof. The view was nice. Interesting facts but as i mentioned we couldn't hear the guide from the talkative people. It was a good tour but not great

Had great fun with this hop on hop off tour. The host was pretty good and knowledgeable about various monuments. Only grow is she missed to mention some of the best views of the parliament hill while moving to Gatineau. As with these open top bus tours, you hardly go again unless you're with someone who's new to town.

Great city tour both on land and waters, Captain. keith did an amazing job, an experienced captain. Our kids had really good time and our little cute dog was enjoying the fresh breeze on the river! Little expensive but worth the tour, the tip made the situation bit awkward towards the end.

We bought ticket for amphi bus on last week but it was cancelled due to weather, we finally got tickets again yesterday, we arrived 45 minutes earlier but finding parking for the car took us 35 minutes 😁 It was really amazing experience and a great memory for my kids . The staffs was really nice and knowledgeable.

The lady dive tour is very interesting and informative one. If anybody is going first time in Ottawa and want to see some main attractions in short time this is recommended one.

A fairly quick one hour tour where about 30 minutes are spent on land and 30 mins on the water. The guide we had was very good, and offered all of his facts in both French and English. The only issue I had was there wasn't any A/C on our bus so the bus got pretty hot during the tour.

They are the best! I an from India.. My wallet was dropped in the bus and I had no clue where I dropped it... I thought I have lost it and came back Home. But, their staff called me and gave me my wallet back which had good amount of cash and credit cards too. They shown what integrity mean! A big thank you! 🙏🙏there charges are very low and they ensure to show all the city with a very funny and friendly guide. I would have given them more than 5 stars if there was an option!

I took my parents who were visiting, on the round trip double decker tour. We were 30 minutes early, so we got first in line to be the top level which gave a great view the entire ride. *Pro tip: sit on the left side to avoid the few overhanging tree branches that might try to whack ya*. The guide was bilingual, and informative. I didn't learn much more than I already knew from living in Ottawa for 10 months and coming here on a school trip several years ago. My parents loved it, and it was nice to be the passenger for 90 minutes. Our driver, Luc, drove so smoothly and it was comfortable! Would recommend for total newbies to Ottawa, and seniors who might enjoy being the relaxing drive and gorgeous veiws.

Did the 1.5 hour double decker bus tour. The tour was pretty good and the guide was nice and answered questions. Got some good shots of landmarks all over Ottawa and learned some stuff too. Did want to do the amphibious tour too, but there was a 4.5 hour wait for next tour due to being sold out on previous time frames.

Very fun ride, guide spoke bilingual but too fast for kids to follow appropriately. We had a broken window (it stayes open!) and got we because it rained, but not due to the water trip. First time I tried this type of ride in any city, that is the reason we tried.

We were glad we took this tour for exploring Ottawa. We originally wanted to do water & land bus but buses were in maintenance that week so we ended up taking Ottawa tour bus. Guide was very knowledgeable & he explained everything in English & French- both the languages. Around an hour & a half of Bus ride was very comfortable & enjoyable watching & learning about important landmarks & sites in Ottawa.

Best and amazing experienced tour with Christina. She's the best . Eventhough it's raining but she still be able with us on the 2nd deck and she is really enjoying what she's doing . Thank you so much . We have the best time listening to the wonderful history of each place .God bless

I booked my family for Amphibus Tour and the classic Classic City Tour. Feel I wasted my money since those two tours are quite similar, guides even used same jokes! Way to expensive to do both, could have save money and just done one of them. They should offer bigger discounts for people who book both.

I learned a lot on this short tour, about Ottawa and Canadian history. Bus is clean and comfortable. No glitches. Very professional. I give it only 3 stars because the entire tour my ears were assaulted by an extremely loud B grade speaker system. So unnecessary. It undermines the whole trip.

Outstanding client service. Got into an accident with them a few years ago when their bus rolled across their lane into my car, crushing it against the curb and causing quite extensive damage. The manager asked a few basic questions when she came on site, never challenged / questioned my story, and was extremely apologetic. Followed up numerous times with phone calls, promising to pay for all repairs with the dealer, and did so promptly and no hassle on my end. All businesses should strive for this level of ethical behaviour in their dealings with their clients.

All the tour guides and drivers were wonderful! Very pleasant and friendly. They answered all our questions and made our trip very special. We did the Amphibus and double decker bus tour as well as purchased tickets for 1 museum on their website. I found it to be a good deal, we had a full day of hop on, hop off tours which was good for us. The bus was always on time so be prepared to leave on time. If you really want to explore the city more I would suggest buying the 2 day option, next time we may do that. Book the earliest bus possible so you can have lots of time to explore. Definitely recommend both tours, the amphibus is great if you have kids they will certainly enjoy it.
