I cannot say enough good things about the service I received from Alyea's. My fiance and I were looking to have a diamond that she inherited from her mother set in an engagement ring. We had gone to several other jewellers who all either seemed disinterested or to not understand what we wanted to have done. When we spoke to Luke at Alyea's, he immediately understood what we wanted done and gave excellent advice that answered all of our questions. I ended up having a custom ring made and it turned out even better than I had hoped. The service we received was very reasonably priced and worth every penny. We will certainly be coming back to Alyea's in the future and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality and unique piece of jewellery.

Alyea's was recommended to me for resizing my heirloom engagement ring. They did a fantastic job! I especially appreciated the care they took to explain to me the history of the stones and the setting, before doing the work and all of the options they gave me re: refinishing the work on this family heirloom. I was introduced to Alyea's a few years ago by a friend and it was the best introduction I've ever been given. The staff are warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The latest piece I had created was a family ring for my mother and I didn't want a ring with birthstones in a row and was looking for something with depth, character and genuine stones - the end result is stunning. I am so pleased as is my mother! Anne was terrific in sharing my vision and sentimentality with this piece. I highly recommend them for whatever your needs are and know you will be well taken care of.

I had a wonderful experience with Alyea's making a custom engagement ring. Charles guided me through the process and helped design a ring that worked out just right. At the start, he said that their primary goal is to provide an amazing service in order to help you get the piece that you imagined and that is exactly what was provided. After the first session I went to several other jewelers, but Alyea's stood out for a number of reasons. First, I was dealing with an experienced jeweler as opposed to a retails saleperson. That was extremely beneficial when it came to working out a design, as he helped take a rough idea and turn it into something specific. Second, I was provided a vast choice in stones in person, instead of just being told it would be a certain quality of a certain stone at a certain weight with no option to see it. Finally, the price was very reasonable and comparable or better to other quotes I received for similar designs. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and if I had to do it again, it would definitely be with Alyea's again!

My fiancé and I (she said yes) worked with Maggie at Alyea’s Jewellers to create an engagement ring, which was crafted in-house with very attentive and timely service. More specifically, Maggie was down-to-earth, friendly, humorous, patient and helpful in working with us to design the ring that we wanted and within our budget. She was able to guide us in our choices and a number of design revisions, while keeping with our wishes. We never felt pressured into choosing certain grades of diamond or ring material/design; instead we came away feeling enabled and more educated than when we first approached Alyea’s. Maggie's a great draftsperson as well, providing hand-drawn professional proofs of our ring. It was old-school but a neat and more personal approach. I can't say enough good things about Alyea's Jewellers. I had lost 2 small diamonds from my wedding ring after 42 years of marriage! I love this ring. It has become a part of me. I was worried about taking it off and giving it to Alyea's for repair especially during Covid. Well Alyea's came through in spades!. Not only did they repair my beloved ring, they polished it and cleaned it so it came back to me looking brand new. I felt like I was getting engaged all over again. Kudos to Alyea's for exceptional service and exceptional work. PS the claws on your rings that hold your stones should be checked regularly

Bought our wedding bands from Alyea's 23 years ago and Anne was a pleasure to deal with. Skip forward about 5 years, 18 years ago, I walk in to have a ring replaced through my insurance company and Anne greets me by name at the door, as if she had seen me yesterday, impressive! Now I walk in 16 years later (2018) and without missing a beat Anne greets me again by name as if we were old friends, amazing! ...and I do feel like we were old friends. Bought, resized and custom ordered a half a dozen rings in the last 23 years, with Alyea's, and Anne and her staff have always made me feel welcome and, more importantly, have delivered quality products each and every time. Knowledge, Product and Great Customer service is what Alyea's is all about.

My words cannot do justice to the magic that is Alyea's Jewellers. From my first meeting Anne and Herman, to my spotting my beautiful platinum set diamond solitaire engagement ring (2008), to our recently needing to combine two rings into one ring, the service, design artistry and craftsmanship have been exquisite and beyond stellar. Alyea's was able to combine my grandmother's heirloom three diamond ring (great-grandmother's engagement diamond from 1898, great-aunt's engagement diamond from 1911, and grandmother's engagement diamond from 1927) with a 12 carat blue topaz (with multiple little diamonds) from my husband creating a stunning custom design ring that is genius. Throughout the process of meetings, viewing the artist's renderings, choosing the design and the recent Big Reveal, Anne, Herman and Maggie outdid themselves at every level. I give the brilliant team at Alyea's Jewellers my very highest recommendation with grateful thanks for the excellent service and stunningly exquisite new ring!

I went to Alyea's to have an engagement ring made with a Canadian diamond. Anne was absolutely phenomenal - she helped me through the entire process. She found the ideal diamond and setting and got the ring ready for me on a very tight schedule. On top of that - they offer a military discount! An absolutely amazing experience and a very beautiful ring. The customer service experience was top notch and they really make you feel special. Can't recommend them highly enough.

A great experience at Alyea's! Went in to get a necklace repaired, and the staff took the time to explain options and costs. No pressure, no hassle. Ended up buying a new necklace, and the staff completed some customization within only a few days. All this and a discount for military personnel too! For all my future purchases, Alyea's will be my first stop. I will highly recommend it to all of my friends!

My wedding set from 1966 is a lovely unique design, and for many years I have been wanting to have it rejuvenated, and procrastinated until now, worried about the appraisal$$cost and that I would be disappointed......My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner!!! I wish I could give Alyea's 6 stars. We had been searching high and low, unsuccessfully, to find a wedding band that would complement my antique engagement ring. Charles and the team were able to custom design and make the perfect band that was much more beautiful (and cost less money) than any other comparable bands we had seen. The day after I dropped off my engagement ring, they already had a plastic version of the wedding band ready for me to try - and the actual band was ready only a week later! Charles also helped me find a unique, perfect wedding present for my husband-to-be. My colleague had recommended Alyea's Jewellers with rave reviews (her ring was also custom made), so I am glad I listened to her! The quality workmanship is exceptional, and it is well worth the price (I also like how the quoted price was the actual final price - no surprises). I am thrilled to get to wear such a beautiful ring for the rest of my life!

I went to Alyea's to get a custom necklace setting for a Roman coin and I am thrilled with how it turned out! My whole experience at Alyea's was great. Anne was a pleasure to work with, she was as excited about my idea as I was. We worked out a design for the coin's setting together and discussed options for the necklace to go with it. She called when the design was ready so I could approve it and make any last adjustments. And the team there had it ready for me right before Christmas, which I really appreciated as I was able to wear it over the holidays. I would highly recommend Alyea's to anyone.
