Quoted me $550 to repair an older Rado ceramic watch which I had repaired 13 months prior to dropping it off where a link broke off and now it broke again and the watch fell causing the bezel to break as well Said sorry it’s out of warranty by 1 month! Outrageous and terrible customer retention and poor service Response: I waited a whole year for you guys to send it to Rado in Switzerland and you failed to contact me despite me updating my phone number with you and the initial watch repair wasn’t free, I paid $100 for 1 link which you refused to honour warranty for a month beyond the stated 1 year coverage I called you guys at the store multiple Times to get a status update and you promised to call me back but never did and when I show up in store to inquire about the repair status nothing has been done and a hefty quote of $550 that is unreasonable is unwarranted for a watch that was less than $3000 brand new It just baffles me how you wouldn’t even discount the repair estimate after I expressed my frustration and waited so long for it to be repaired

Do not get trapped and avoid buying from Monaco at any cost. They have the worst return/exchange policy and a lot of hidden terms that the salesperson won’t tell you. So we bought 2 watches from Monaco at Bayshore location Tissot PRX Automatic and G-Shock full metal. The sale was made by the manager of the store (I wish I know his name and I could post here). He promised me that I can return/exchange for store credit and if their are more deals on boxing day, he can only offer me a store credit if the price decreases. That I understand is the store policy. I went to the store after boxing day and I notice the store has 20% off, I went in to ask this guy if I can get a store credit for that, he lied on my face saying no I never said that. He acted like a bully and was rude like he does not care once the sale is made. I called the headquarters and now the hidden policy I came to know was that I can return and get a store credit but I cannot use the store credit during boxing day promotion. This is nothing but an organized loot. AVOID THIS STORE AT ANY COST AND SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION OF A BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I'm only putting 3 stars because my wife had a great customer service here but I did not. Maybe I'll try again some other day. I came in asking about a bracelet I wanted to order for my watch that my wife bought from here. The person wasn't helpful at all - they didn't do a price quote and basically shooed me away. I think said person would rather talk to his friend then a customer. It felt as though I was bothering him. I wanted to leave my info so they could get back to me but I was already had a profound disapproval of their customer service. [Edit] - I will visit the store soon after their response.

Gil and Jamie in at Monaco are the guys to see in Ottawa if you've ever even entertained the idea of getting a watch. They both love what they do and you can feel that the whole time you're in the store. Must visit for anyone with a wrist!

Great customer service from very experienced watch enthusiasts. They always have the latest (and greatest) releases from watch world, and Gil and his team are also able to bring in rarer models. If you're looking to get your first serious watch, look no further.. great people, great advise, and great customer service- I can't recommend Monaco Bayshore enough.

I went into this store to buy a good friend of mine a quality watch for his birthday. I had the pleasure of dealing with Tom, who was very knowledgeable about watches and provided me with his expert advice on quality and price for my choice. He was patient and took the time to explain the differences and found a product that fit my requirements and budget. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and took care of all the details and made me leave a satisfied customer. Employees like him should be valued as they promote the company's image and offer invaluable service to the customer.

Drove all the way from Barrhaven to get my watch sized and the worker refused to do so because there wasn't another employee in the store.

I visited the Bayshore location on October 26, 2019 and spoke with “Alex” in regards to possibly purchasing a stainless steel strap for my Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Auto. He said he would get back to me shortly with pricing/ availability so i said sure. Today is November 7, 2019 sad to say it but i haven’t heard back from him nor their shop...(not even a courtesy follow up). I’ve made repeated attempts to call them, even left them a voicemail last week. I’ve been a watch collector for many years and I cant believe this shop is an authorized dealer for some of these respectable brands. Readers take your money somewhere else and thank me later.

I've purchased two Tissot Seastars, a Mido GMT and 3 Hamilton Khaki Navy watches from Monaco Jewellers from both their Rideau Centre and Bayshore locations and found their staff to be knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend them.

I have visited a number of times and have always been greeted very warmly, and always been showcased new and exotic timepieces. Special shoutout to Gil and Jaime - these two gentlemen keep Monaco Bayshore ticking! Very warm, inviting, and extremely knowledgeable. Also very resourceful in acquiring hard to find watches. Horrible service Would never go back there! Very rude personnel They said they accept refund but when I went back to return the watch, they said they cannot refund and they can give me store credit only. Their watches are very overpriced I found the same watch for almost half the price in saint Laurent mall.
