My favorite online store. Their fashion shows feature women of all sizes and shapes who provide excellent fashion, fit and styling tips. I live in the US so currently cannot visit in person, but truly enjoy their weekly live fashion shows on Wed. and their Fashion Fridays. I have been very satisfied with the quality, comfort and style of all fashions ordered. It is currently a flat $10 shipping rate to US, and the pricing is in Canadian dollars, so with the Canadian to US conversion rate all items are at a discounted price. Highly recommend-I finally know how to tie a scarf after watching one of their fashion shows.

I absolutely love Shepherd’s! in addition to stocking beautiful, practical, great quality garments, Shepherd’s customer service is outstanding. Further, their fashion videos and tutorials offer great fashion advice. Shepherd’s models are of diverse size, body shape , fashion personality and age. The videos stress positivity and confidence. Always a great shopping experience, especially online for me as I do not live in Ottawa. All to love!

I have been watching the fashion videos by Shepherd's Fashions for a few years now and am always learning something. The lovely ladies who model (including Marlene) are an inspiration because they come in all sizes and heights and they stress body positivity. I live on the west coast of the US and have ordered a few things and am thrilled with the customer service and flat rate of $10. I eagerly await the weekly videos and always make time to watch. The Perfect Place To Shop! Imagine you had the opportunity to shop with your best friends, the friends who wait on you hand and foot! The friends who make suggestions on what to try and which to buy! The same friends who only have your best interests at heart! Well ladies if that sounds wonderful then visit Shepherds Fashions in the Trainyards, Ottawa, Canada! Every staff member is trained on style personality where once they know your personality type, after asking a few questions, they can suggest styles that make you feel like a million dollars. The staff have also been trained in knowing about body types and what styles hide what you want hidden and accentuate your assets! Yes ladies, this place is truly the one stop place to shop! I travel 6 hours to shop here and I feel so at home each and every time! Can’t make the trip to the shop...not a problem! They have a fabulous website and staff who will shop virtually with you! They’ll select articles of clothing, photographs the pieces and send the shots to you or they even do FaceTime if you book an appointment! They ship all over the world so no matter where you live you can have their fashions shipped to you! Did I mention they have live videos showcasing fashions, designers, and they even give away gift cards! I know, it sounds too good to be true! They aim to please so please aim your car or computer in their direction, you will not be disappointed!

Yesterday 3 friends and myself went to Shepherd’s for the first time as I had been watching their videos online. What a wonderful experience we all had. From walking through the door to leaving, the staff treated us so well. We met many of the beautiful ladies who model daily online and they were very bit as nice as they appear on the show. THANK YOU Shepherd’s for such a great shopping experience, we will be back.

I am leaving for Italy in a few weeks and wanted to get some new summer clothes! I had just been to a farm with my grandsons class so was dressed more for that than shopping but that should not matter. I experienced the worst customer service ever!! I was ignored even when I asked for help. I left feeling awful. luckily the ladies at Allegro were friendly, helpful and non judgmental and I left with 3 great outfits. Shame on you Shepherds. I won’t ever step in your store again. Making women feel good would sell a whole lot more clothes.

3 Star for the young lady Estelle at the cash who was very pleasant & helpful, after having dealt with a “senior” bilingual clerk who was rude and condescending - was it the jogging pants & running shoes that made us less valuable clients? She wasn’t helpful until I pushed for her to check the inventory in the back, which she found but Estelle had already ordered the piece online for me. Senior clerk had very little knowledge of what Shepherds had advertised, I had to prove it to her, she made me feel like I was lying! I’ve shopped at Shepherds before and there was always a problem!

The best!! I have never been to their store but was introduced to their fashion shows (of which they have many!) online. Real women modeling real clothes. Such real and down to earth women, clothes are terrific, and service really can't be beat. I think I've spent all my travel budget on their clothes during this pandemic! Really a treat to watch and deal with.

Shepherd's Fashions offers the best customer service I have ever encountered. Their return policy is excellent and very accommodating. On several occasions I have had to contact them for follow-up, or just for information and I am always amazed at how quickly, and the professionalism of their response. I would highly recommend ordering from Shepherd's and I can guarantee you will be thrilled with their knowledge, service, and professionalism.

I really enjoy Marlene and her staff. I think spending Saturday morning watching their videos is a great way to pass the time. I have ordered quite a number of items from Shepherd's after being inspired watching and listening to their tips and friendly banter. The items have all arrived quickly and lived up to my expectations. I am so glad you are online and have created such a friendly community via your store.

Shepherd’s has become my new favourite shopping destination. Ever since discovering their fashion shows online, I have been hooked. The staff does a wonderful job of presenting their fashions on various body types and ages. I have ordered several things and been very pleased with the quality of the merchandise. I only wish I lived in Ottawa so I could visit in person!

Love this store! They have a body positive message and cater to sizes from zero through 18 and even larger. They also promote Canadian made clothing and jewelry which I appreciate. I love their fashion shows which they do often more than twice a week. It helps to see models in all different sizes shapes in ages. Also they give great online service.

Fantastic shopping experience! I shopped at Shepherd's whenever I visited Ottawa for many years and always found wonderful clothing and accessories. But it is now my absolute favourite on-line store. The buying team does a great job; the video fashion shows are really fun and super-helpful about size, fit, drape - all those things you miss not being there in person. The philosophy is body-positive and non-judgemental. And the customer service on fulfillment, shipping, and (rare) returns is first-class. Thanks ladies - you have really cheered us up through the pandemic! (Oh - extra bonus - Shepherd's promotes Canadian design and manufacture as well as women designers and women-owned businesses. Love that!)

I have so enjoyed watching these ladies do their fashion videos all throughout this crazy year. They are definitely a group that love working together and they make me laugh all the time! The style tips are amazing and the best part is that they feature such an awesome array of models. As Marlene says at the beginning of each video ... every shape, size, age and style preference. They will feature a line or a particular type of top, for example, and they will all try it on, style it up and advise on sizing for their shape. Thanks, ladies for getting us through this challenging ‘shopping’ season!

Absolutely love their products but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired!! This experience will be my last. The first time, I wrote it off to the lady having a bad day, second time was harder to accept and this time its just not worth it. I will cherish the several pieces I have from this store but I will acquire more interesting pieces from the other small local business that appreciate their customers!

Last week my mom (now from Michigan, originally from Ottawa) and I came to Shepherd's Fashions to check out the store. My mom has been watching the store's posts and videos on Facebook for about 4 years and wanted to see what this place was all about. When we first walked in the door we were immediately greeted by one staff member and again, multiple times by other staff members as we walked around the store. My mom was so delighted as she recognized all of the women that greeted us (she had seen them in the social media videos). and remarked to me that they were so nice in person, just like they appeared on the videos. My mom found a gorgeous tunic. Primal ended up helping us and made sure that the tunic my mom chose was perfect for her shape. We also found some scarves that we both liked and Primal helped show us how to wear them the right way :). Thanks to Primal we were even able to see where the videos are shot and got to meet Elaine, Charron and Marlen. What a wonderful and beautiful experience. The store and the team was so beautiful, warm and welcoming. Thank you. We look forward to visiting when we are back in Ottawa.

Love their clothing lines. .many of which are Canadian which is even better. Delivery is fast. Clothes are beautiful and very good quality. Their daily videos are fun and informative ..I've learned much since discovering them. I haven't got to the actual store to shop but hope to soon. But online is very easy and hassle free. Love the gals who do the videos. They use real women of all sizes and ages ..great jo

I needed a fancy outfit for a wedding and was prepared to spend a significant amount for something pretty. I was excited when I started looking around as the clothes are lovely and they have a wide range of styles and sizes. Unfortunately, however, the sales staff are appallingly rude and negligent, more interested in gossiping and studiously avoiding customers than helping them or even greeting them. In reading the other reviews I learned this is a common occurrence so presumably attributable to poor management. I guess I’ll go the Bay.

I was looking for and found a couple of cotton/linen dresses. While in the dressing room, I decided I needed a different size. I looked for a salesperson, but none was nearby. They were all standing around chatting. I think I was invisible! I left the store

Ever since discovering Shepherd's Fashions online about a year ago, it has become my favourite place to buy clothing. I love their fashion shows which can be seen on both Facebook and Instagram as they are so much fun and very uplifting to watch during these uncertain times. The wide variety of fashions available are stylish and inclusive of all body types. The models used in the shows are delightful and of varying heights and sizes. I have bought many items from Shepherd's and will continue to do so. In my experience, the customer service has been superb as every effort was made to respond promptly to questions and to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend Shepherd's Fashions.
