The worst material! The watch started color fading after 1 year! They say it is not under warranty! I wore it only twice and it was in the box always

Manager/manager on duty with red-brown hair at time or arrival. Was extremely rude. Avoid shopping in store, shop online.

What a waste of time doing return! The employee behind the counter doesn't understand and steak to same sentence. I am really disappointed that fossil is not accepting my return product. Give what you promise for otherwise nobody will trust your store.

Was in here Saturday afternoon and the associate with short red hair was extremely sarcastic and rude. Seemed to be more worried about playing on her phone than anything else.

Abysmal manager, which is really too bad. Love and collect their watches and wallets, and found the regular staff outstanding. But the manager at this store is abysmal, and I have had issues more than once. A watch under warranty stopped working and staff reassured me that it was under warranty and would be fixed for only shipping charges. I was worried I didn’t have the receipt (it was a gift), but was again reassured. I signed a form and they shipped it. Weeks passed, no word, so when I was at Rideau I spontaneously stopped at the store and asked if they could track it. Manager said they had no responsibility for that - and without the card they gave me at the time they couldn’t. I didn’t have the card on me at the time, but was blown away that in today’s era they couldn’t track it with the email and phone number I had provided. But - okay, the card was at home so I would look for it. However, I was surprised by the enthusiasm and zest of the manager to underline how she couldn’t help....yikes. Fast forward to weeks later my watch comes in the mail, complete with a $70 bill. I called the store. Same manager eagerly passes off responsibility to the service centre, tells me I should have been asked to provide proof of purchase (I wasn’t asked to, and indeed at the time reiterated I didn’t have it), and that it still wasn’t her problem and I should deal with the service centre. She was unprofessional, eager to be obstructionist, and I honestly felt bad that the service centre and a customer was being held responsible for a store’s error. I did deal with the Service Centre. They reimbursed me. I will likely buy Fossil again because I love their product. But I will never again give business to the store at Rideau, and I can imagine that those polite and professional staff members suffer under such a poor manager - if she treats a confused, concerned and polite customer poorly, one can imagine it’s worse for staff. Strongly recommend buying from another store or the Tangier Outlet. Despite my “happy ending”, it wasn’t worth the angst at Rideau.

Amazing customer service from Ala. I was welcomed when entered the store. She Helped me find what I was looking for and was able to answer all my questions to ensure I got the right watch. The store was clean and welcoming.

I was told that, when I purchased a watch, I could return it within 90 days if "there was no damage and could be resold." Today, I was told that I was unable to return the watch because it had been opened. Please be consistent with the policies you offer. I will not be buying from this location ever again.

I had an awesome experience with Nicole at this location. The customer service was above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend this particular store as well as the awesome service provided by Nicole. Given it was the pandemic, all the safety protocols were met.

Great staff great product. I have developed a addiction to collecting watches on all levels of price and quality. I have found the Fossil product to be above its value for build quality and refinement. There watches also look great next to some of my other ones on my wall. I would have to say value for the money is definitely up there. I’m also impressed with how great the staff is and how well they know there product. It is so refreshing to have young people understand and stand behind the product they are selling. As someone who has worked in a high level of sales where the highest level of professionalism is demanded I’m impressed with the services the staff delivered. I’ll definitely be back to see them again.

I picked up a nice little watch around Christmas time. I got a great deal at 50% off from 140 to 70. All is well loving the watch. Unfortunately, somehow the clasp broke on the watch. I'm not quite sure if this is all stores, or just the one I went to in particular but the customer service was fantastic. We had lost the receipt, nor had any ID, and yet the staff helped us anyway. The staff were extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. Right off the bat they offered to replace it for the same watch for no charge. Not only did they do this they offered me a store credit for the price I paid to chose a new watch if I stopped liking my old one for some reason. Being quite happy with my watch I just got a replacement. The best part of it all? This warranty lasts 11 years. That's crazy for a watch I paid 70$ for. 5/5 customer support, will be recommending this store to everyone I know. Good job to the fossil staff at the Tanger Outlets store as well!

Osas and Nicole were very helpful today in the Rideau store in Ottawa. My watch had an issue and it needed to be sent out for repair. The warranty was unfortunately expired so they gave me my options and also made suggestions on similar watches. I now have the same style watch at an awesome price. Love my new watch, very happy with my purchase and the customer service was excellent. I'll be back with the Mrs to look at smart watches soon!

I didn't catch the name of the woman that helped me, but my experience at the location was exceptional! I got two watch straps for a decent price. The worker helped me pick out ones that would look good, as well as made sure they fit well and and felt good. The metal strap was adjusted perfectly. Very kind, friendly, and helpful service.😄 The store was very visually appealing, well organised and clean, which made it easy to find things. It was fast easy, and a great experience overall. Definitely stop by if you are in Rideau and are looking for a watch, accessories or a handbag.10/10!!

Went in store for the exchange of an item I had bought online, the manager on duty was so unhelpful and rude that I decided to return the item. For which she couldn't be bothered to provide me with instructions and responded sarcastically. Awful experience. Their attitude is just unacceptable.

Placed an order online and went in to pick up same day. I wanted to know if I could pick it up before order got confirmed since the website didn’t make processing times clear. Manager was extremely unprofessional. She didn’t bother to pack up the watch and spoke in a very disrespectful manner.

Quality service at Rideau! The staff always goes above and beyond to help me find the right product. The manager is extremely nice and answers all my questions with a smile on her face. Highly recommend this location for the superior customer experience!
