I
feel
what
happened
today
needs
to
be
addressed
by
Orleans
Urgent
Care
Management.
I
arrived
at
exactly
8
am
this
morning,
June
15.
I
waited
in
line
for
45
minutes
and
there
was
no
movement.
The
only
movement
was
when
a
few
patients
standing
in
line
left.
I
decided
to
go
to
the
front
door
and
make
sure
the
clinic
was
open.
When
I
got
to
the
front
door,
I
asked
the
people
standing
there
if
they
had
seen
anyone
go
in.
They
said
no.
I
asked
if
I
could
cut
in
line
and
open
the
door
to
which
they
agreed.
Approximately
8:45
am
I
opened
the
main
door
to
the
clinic
but
did
not
enter
as
there
was
a
patient
and
nurse
right
inside
the
door.
I
calmly
explained
that
there
was
no
movement
in
the
line
since
the
clinic
had
opened
except
for
people
walking
away.
I
asked
her
if
there
was
a
problem
with
triaging
patients
since
there
were
roughly
two
patients
inside
the
clinic
at
that
point.
She
very
quickly
got
defensive
and
came
towards
me
at
the
door,
she
was
immediately
upset
stating
that
this
was
her
"reality
for
the
last
two
weeks"
If
I
wanted
medical
attention,
she
gave
me
a
list
of
places
I
could
go.
I
told
her
that
if
this
was
her
reality
for
the
last
two
weeks,
perhaps
there
was
someone
I
could
talk
to
help
ease
her
stress.
Perhaps
triaging
patients
could
be
done
differently?
Perhaps
two
nurses
could
triage
during
high
volume
times.
Her
response
is
why
I
am
writing
an
email.
She
told
me
to
call
Doug
Ford,
she
told
me
to
call
my
MP,
she
told
me
to
call
the
family
physicians
who
were
not
seeing
their
patients.
This
is
obviously
a
very
emotional
response
to
a
much
bigger
problem
than
how
the
triage
was
working.
So,
I
calmly
asked
if
there
was
someone
available
for
the
problem
at
hand.
At
this
point
she
very
loudly
starts
accusing
me
of
abuse,
tells
me
that
I
am
not
allowed
in
her
clinic
without
a
mask
(I
was
unaware
of
the
requirement
and
immediately
asked
for
a
mask
although
I
was
not
in
the
clinic
but
in
the
doorway).
Once
again,
she
loudly
states
she
will
not
tolerate
abuse.
I
look
around
and
see
that
everyone
in
the
clinic
is
standing
there
silently.
I
have
a
low
tolerance
for
abuse
of
any
kind
and
was
appalled
that
this
nurse
-
a
health
care
provider
-
was
unable
to
moderate
her
own
emotions.
In
this
situation,
in
her
treatment
and
accusations
of
abuse
in
a
public
place
seemed
to
be
her
way
of
lashing
out
because
she
felt
she
could.
To
make
the
situation
worse
as
I
turned
to
leave,
she
loudly
announces
"That's
it!
I'm
locking
the
door."
I
am
highly
concerned
that
this
attitude
(Go
somewhere
else
if
you're
not
happy
and
if
you're
not
happy
its
abuse
towards
me)
in
an
urgent
care
clinic
could
do
more
damage
than
good
and
I
would
recommend
the
nurse
responsible
is
held
accountable
for
her
actions
and
her
words.
I
am
hoping
there
is
video/audio
footage
of
this
so
you
can
understand
the
ridiculousness
and
disrespect
in
her
response
to
a
simple
and
valid
question.
I
am
not
writing
this
without
recognizing
the
stress
that
has
covered
the
health
care
system
for
the
last
few
years.
I
am
writing
this
with
that
stress
in
mind.
If
we
continue
to
let
health
care
providers
treat
patients
in
this
way
because
of
a
systematic
failure,
but
do
not
hold
health
care
providers
to
a
basic
standard
of
"do
no
harm"
what
can
we
expect
your
clinic,
the
hospitals
or
doctors’
offices
to
look
like
in
the
next
few
years?
As
a
clinic,
if
you
would
like
to
adhere
to
the
expectations
of
mutual
respect,
I
think
that
there
should
be
respect
if
treatment
in
a
timely
manner
is
in
question
or
not.
Respect
towards
a
patient,
as
well
as
respect
towards
the
staff.
If
they
had
opened
the
clinic
late
that
may
be
another
reason
there
was
no
movement,
if
they
don't
have
the
staff
they
need,
that
could
be
another
reason.
I
do
not
see
the
problem
or
disrespect
in
asking
and
I
most
definitely
would
not
define
my
questions
as
abuse.
