I
would
give
this
place
0
Star
if
I
could.
I
moved
to
Ottawa
from
Brampton
and
by
far
Ottawa,
ironically,
is
one
of
the
worst
place
to
find
a
family
doctor
or
even
a
doctor
at
a
walk-in
clinic.
My
son
got
a
chest
injury
at
school
and
it
was
concerning
enough
to
needing
a
doctor
to
look
at
him.
I
took
him
out
of
school
the
next
day
with
the
naive
assumption
that
if
I
wake
up
early
enough
I
can
do
my
due
diligence
and
call
ahead
at
a
walk-in
clinic
and
notify
them
that
we
will
be
coming
by.
I
did
an
internet
search
and
came
across
Applebee's
Medical
Group,
it
was
also
the
only
clinic
open
or
accepting
walk-in
patients.
I
saw
that
the
only
office
available
to
us
had
a
2
hour
wait
time,
and
"registration"
started
at
1pm.
This
took
place
at
around
9:30am
I
might
add.
Having
never
dealt
with
a
walk-in
clinic
with
this
type
of
protocol
before,
I
phoned
their
customer
service
line
just
to
understand
what
I
needed
to
do.
Their
rep
basically
told
me
that
I
can
visit
the
office
at
1pm,
register
there,
and
then
my
son
can
see
a
doctor.
Simple
enough,
we
showed
up
to
the
clinic
only
to
see
about
another
50
people
already
standing
in
line
waiting.
Concerned
by
the
amount
of
people
and
seeing
one
after
one
people
registering,
while
standing
in
line,
I
checked
the
same
website
that
told
me
I
had
a
2
hour
wait,
and
now
it
told
me
that
the
walk-in
service
was
closed.
I
was
stunned
as
there
were
so
much
people
still
in
the
line.
I
phoned
back
customer
service
and
the
rep
confirmed
that
the
walk-in
clinic
was
indeed
now
closed.
I
asked
why
wasn't
I
told
that
this
may
had
happened,
I
would
had
certainly
come
far
earlier.
Her
answer
to
this
was
that
they
don't
tell
clients
this
because
it's
up
to
us
to
figure
this
out.
She
then
said
that
there
was
another
doctor
at
another
clinic,
but
he
only
saw
patients
over
18.
My
child
is
9.
Or,
she
then
suggested
,
we
come
back
another
day.
Basically
I
wasted
my
time,
gas
money,
and
was
left
without
a
doctor
seeing
my
son,
and
a
day
of
school
or
even
going
to
another
unaffiliated
clinic,
was
squandered.
If
only
Appletree
was
upfront
with
me
from
the
start,
and
mentioned
the
possibility
of
a
long
line
up,
or
that
there
was
no
guarantee
that
my
son
would
see
a
doctor,
this
entire
fiasco
would
had
been
avoided.
They
treat
people
like
numbers,
they
couldn't
care
less
about
our
health
nor
do
they
respect
our
time.
It's
almost
like
they
try
to
accumulate
a
mass
roundup
of
people
and
the
first
lucky
ones
get
the
prize
-
to
see
a
doctor.
Is
this
what
our
health
care
system
has
become?
What
an
embarrassment
and
a
tragedy.
I
will
never
use
this
medical
group
again.
