    17 July 2023 From one of the best run companies you have willfully downgraded yourself into one of the worst run shops. Friday I went to the Kanata location and was told the X-Ray tech was not in, so go to different location. Monday I went to the Hunt Club location. Outside sign says X-Ray tech is not today (but no date). But the receptionist said "machine broke down". Go to Nepean location. In between I tried calling the location, but no one picks up calls. I left a voice mail and also filled the online form for appointment. Then I drove to Nepean location, and there I was told again there is no "technician" on site. I asked the girl would you pleas send me to a location where there is technician and the machine working. She said "I don't know". Hope my feed back reaches the management.

    Called and they were able to locate an office with an immediate opening for me to get an ultrasound before heading out of town. The phone attendant was super helpful and funny. Ended up at the office on Centrepointe. Free coffee?!😁 The rooms are really small, but I felt comfortable with the tech. She was nice, patient, and went over my concerns before doing the ultrasound.

    Arrived around 8:30am to do x-rays without appointment. The receptionist was pleasant and professional who quickly registered me for imaging. Waited for about 10 min before the technical called my name. She was also very nice and very effective. I completed my x-rays within 10min and all was done. The clinic also gives you a link where you can see the images yourself, which I think is a great idea. Great experience!

    I tried getting X-rays here 5 times, showed up at 11:15 and the sign said they were closed until 1 (this happened twice). The wait times are ridiculous. They booked my ultrasound appointment over the phone and assured me I would be able to get my X-ray at the same time, but when I got there, I was told they weren’t doing any more X-rays, and that I would have to come back. To think that keeping injured patients waiting in a hallway for hours is acceptable, is ridiculous. Go somewhere else, don’t waste your time here.

    Don't waste your time with this, just search for your service on google and call a facility directly. I wanted to give this zero stars but I wasn't able to. I agree with another comment below - this network and organization clearly doesn't care about the clients or people. The website is outdated, locations and phone numbers are no longer in service, they say you can book online but I can't figure out how. The phone and fax numbers in one place on the webpage are switched. Basically all you can do is call a number and you will be on hold for a least an hour. They have an option for someone to call you back but no one ever does.

    They do not offer x rays on the spine. There was a list of other items posted on the front desk that are not offered as this location. I only realized this after visiting the location because when I called the general number for Canadian Diagnostic Network, the automated service mentioned that X rays are walk-ins and no appointment required. So make sure to call ahead to ensure required service is offered.

    This place likes their signs! I counted 26 signs posted on two walls and the glass in the waiting room. The receptionist and ultrasound technician were friendly. The location was a bit tricky, as I almost missed it. I ended up turning on a street behind the building and parking next to a dilapitated house. The shared parking lot and common area with the neighbouring businesses did not seem to be cared for, as there was garbage scattered on the ground in a few places that I had to walk by to get to the entrance of the clinic.

    I dont know how they have any negative feedback. The place is very clean. They strictly follow all covid guidelines. The lady doing my ultrasound what absolutely amazing. I never once felt uncomfortable or alone. She was very welcoming and just all around nice. Every staff member was very nice. If you go anywhere with a negative attitude then don't expect a positive response.... kindness always wins. This clinic was 10 out of 10 for me. It is a first come first serve for xrays so come early. They also need to eat so they stop taking patients early before lunch. All other requests need an appointment just like every other place.

    CDN Hunt Club: 1/5 | CDN itself: also 1/5 lol I needed a chest xray and was referred here. Be aware that they only do so many x-rays a day so show up early. They do not do Chest, Abdomen, Hip or Spine x-rays (at least as of Aug25/23), and do not advise of this on their website. I had my requisition sent directly to this location and upon receipt, no one contacted me to let me my x-ray type was not supported. I ended up bussing 1hr roundtrip to find this out lol. As a general warning for those considering visiting other CDN locations for x-rays, other locations seem to also run on a similar low standard of service (Check google reviews). Do not trust the website! Call the location if possible (they don't pick up lol so good luck) to see if they even offer x-rays, and that the type you need is offered (They advertise locations that do not actually offer x-rays). Don't try to book an appmt online-- most of their locations don't actually offer appmts despite saying they do, and you'll get an email asking you to walk-in instead.

    Worst center ever on Hunt Club Road in Ottawa. Receptionist was not at her desk for hours and she could be hear chit chatting with her friend inside. She wouldnt answer to calls. So unprofessional. Peoples time matters.

    The building and its surroundings are in need of a little TLC (which is why I am only giving 4 stars). However, I was greeted by Kristin who was professional and efficient. The X-ray technician was Alexis, who was also very professional, personable and efficient. I did not have an appointment and I was in and out of there within 30 minutes.

    The level of incompetence mind boggling. I scheduled an appointment online. They responded via email with an appointment date that I was not available for. I replied via email stating that I was not available in that time slot, and I suggested an alternate time slot 2 weeks farther out that I was available for. They responded via email by booking me into the time slot that I had clearly stated I was not available for. I canceled the appointment and went to a different clinic. If they are so incompetent that they can't even handle booking an appointment I have serious concerns on the quality of imaging services. Hard pass. Book somewhere else.

    The service of this medical center needs to be improved. I hope someone understands the meaning of politeness first and doesn't hang up the phone unreasonably before the customer has finished talking. One star is too much!

    They have canceled one hour prior three times in a row, without explanation for a u/s appointment. I don’t believe at this point they can do an u/s. Will be going anywhere else as it’s been a month trying to get this done. Would not recommend.

    Saw negative reviews and got nervous, but this place was lovely. I arrived for a walk-in X-ray in the morning and everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. The receptionist was even helping the person in front of me book an appointment at another clinic because they didn't have one available there, and helped another person find their requisition that they'd lost. My own x-ray took approximately 5 minutes and the technician answered my questions happily. It was a fine experience and if I ever need more imaging I'd be sure to go back.

    I had an appointment for ultrasound and xray for an injury. Easy and quick in and out. Got lost and went to another nearby ultrasound clinic but the staff didn't mind that I was almost late. The technicians were polite and professional.

    I came on a Tuesday just after 9 am for a drop in X-Ray. There was no one ahead of me so I got seen within 5 minutes. The doctor didn't send the reason for the X-ray so they let me start the imaging while they called my doctor, rather than make me wait until the doctor answered their call. The key for getting X rays here is to arrive very early, at or before 9 am. The technologist and the receptionist were both very nice and friendly.

    I cannot comment on their services beyond booking, but from what I've experienced so far, my impression is that this is a very poorly managed place to avoid at all costs, because health matters deserve serious attention. Today I received a call from them to reschedule my appointment which was for this afternoon. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, except that it's now the third time they need me to reschedule this same appointment. I am in utter disbelief and honestly feel like they are messing with me at this point. Three times having to reschedule and now on the actual day of the appointment? How do I know next appointment won't also be rescheduled? I've lost one month now thanks to them not being able to honour appointments. Unreal.

    After checking reviews, I deducted that people that had given this place few stars were due to the fact that they arrived late in the day and there were no more spots to get X-rays, so I just visited with my son around 9:30am and it went GREAT! The lady at the front desk and Alexis, the Technician, not only were they efficient and professional, but also friendly and the service was fast! As we left the office, my young son said: "They are very nice people!" and now we are excited to get to see his X-Rays 'photo' online, as this place offers that service for free as well! :) 2Thumbs up!!

    The appointment was given rapidly and on time. The technician did his job really well and was professional. The issue I have is after three emails, two phone calls, I could not get a confirmation that the report was sent to the doctor who requested the ultrasound. A simple confirmation that the report was sent, even resent by fax, and I would have done the chasing with the medical clinic. Nada, no news, pas de nouvelles. Next time, I'll choose another place.

    I have had a thoroughly frustrating experience with this 'network'. I asked for an appointment on a particular date several days before it. I got a reply that I could be given an appointment 2 days after my preferred date - which ended up being a Saturday (I had asked for a Thursday). I replied that I could make it but it wasn't my preferred date. I did not hear back so in total, I left 3 separate voice messages over 2 days explaining the situation, an email message doing the same, I called an hour before the appointment and was put on hold only to find after a long period of time that my number started going up and the time started to get longer! - this was on the Saturday and obviously no one was there! I left another voice message. I went to the appointment which was a 25 minute drive each way in case someone was going in specially - on a day of freezing rain - I checked there twice on the off chance that someone would come in for the appointment even though I found the office closed but no one was there either time and the office was closed. This is totally unacceptable. You can't get ahold of a person and all of the ways of getting in touch don't get a response. This is a horrible service for people who need it. They obviously offered me the wrong date and if they end up charging me for not coming to the appointment that they thought they were offering, I shall be even more furious than I am now. And now I have to go through the whole frustrating process of making another appointment with an inept 'service'.

    My experience was quite good. I had an 11:00 o'clock apponitment and I was literally walking in at 11:02. They were pleasean and fun. Tech was great and helpful.

    I was a bit apprehensive given the reviews. However, the tech that did my ultrasound was kind and she took her time to ensure the test was completed thoroughly. The receptionist was also kind. It was a positive experience.

    I had an appointment booked for Monday morning. I get a call on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm informing me no ultrasound technician is able to do the anatomy scan for my baby. No apologies given. Unable to reach anyone on Sunday afternoon. Tried to call the next day for hours and couldn't get through. I have never had anything so unprofessional. Decided to call my doctor's office and request to be referred to a different clinic. Does not even deserve 1 star in my opinion

    The technician that I dealt with was not friendly at all and did not know how to perform any administrative tasks/whether they were allowed to do them or not. I had a requisition from a doctor outside of Ottawa (from Oshawa) and I had to wait 40 minutes while she called/emailed multiple people and served someone else only to find out that they simply couldn’t give me an ultrasound because the doctor wasn’t in their system (because he was based outside of Ottawa). Total waste of time. Beware that you may have a hard time if the requisition you have is from a doctor outside of Ottawa!!

    Extremely unimpressed with this office. When services are on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis, you need to be more clear with information and details. Nobody has all day to come and sit and wait to be seen by ONE technician. As well, the hours of operation are AWFUL. 8am-4pm is usually a working day for people. You are also unable to reach the office via phone as when you call the number, it goes to their customer service centre. Yesterday I arrived at 3pm with an X-ray requisition. A sign posted on the door said they had reached their capacity and to return tomorrow. I spoke to the receptionist who advised me on what times are good to come however that doesn’t work with mine & most peoples schedule. When asking the receptionist if 12pm is a busy time, she said “yes”. Today, I returned at 12:05 only to see yet again another sign on the door stating that ‘X-ray was closed until 1pm’. The receptionist NEVER advised me of this. Had she, I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming at 12. I’m supposed to sit around and wait for an hour? Only THEN to find out that the technician goes on lunch from 12:30-1pm. Spoke to her at 12:20pm. I arrived at 12:05!! So why was I not seen & taken? Overall completely unimpressed & unsatisfied with the whole experience and this is before I’ve even had the legitimate appointment. I would not recommend this location to any of my friends or family.

    Unprofessional practice. Nurse was being rude to my 80 years old mother because she barely understands English. She didn’t wipe down the gel after she finished scanning. Won’t recommend anyone using this health care facility.

    One of the worst locations for medical services. Building is confusing, with no clear signage. When mentioning this fact, staff was dismissive and rude. Location does not offer full services, which is not clear on website. Would not recommend this location.

    I am reposting as i see my original post from this morning got deleted. Unreal.... Received a requisition from my practitioner to go to a CDNcare location for an ultrasound for my kidneys to check for stones due to possible high oxalates' When i booked, the instructions i received was to not eat or drink anything for t least 8 hours prior to the exam. I questioned this as i had previously done an US for kidneys a few years back and needed to drink a liter of water one hour prior to the exam. Again, i'm told to not eat or drink anything 8 hours prior. I decide to callback the next day hoping to talk to someone different to get a second opinion but there's a 40-minute wait and decide to leave a message asking to confirm if i am to drink water or not. I see that someone had called back while i was working and missed the call but for some reason, they did not leave any messages with proper instructions. The day of the exam (March 10th), i decide to drink a liter of water and make the 45-minute drive to Centrepointe. When i get there, i'm asked for my health card and requisition. The lady asked for help with her co-worker and i'm then told that they have booked the wrong exam and need to reschedule a new appointment as i need to drink water prior to the kidney US. I tell them that i had assume that would be the case and did in fact drink water. So I'm able to proceed with the exam and told to go to the waiting room. We get the US done and i leave. half hour later, i receive a call and told i must turn around and comeback. I ask why? I'm told because i didn't pay for the US. "We don't take Quebec health card and you must come back and pay now!" I explain i was not told that they don't take Quebec health card and was not told i needed to pay. "Yes, i tell you...now come back now". I explain again that there is no way anyone mentioned anything about having to pay or not accepting Quebec health card. I ask how much it is. "250". Now if i would of been told that they didn't accept the Quebec health card and that i needed to pay, i would of asked the cost and would of never agreed to pay $250. I would of went elsewhere where the Quebec card would be accepted. Completely unprofessional. If i could give zero star, i would.

    AVOID AT ALL COST !!! They booked me in for an appointment today at 12:30, even sent me a confirmation yesterday, and said that if I don't show up they will charge a $75 no show fee. I arrive on time and nobody is at the front but I can hear the two receptionists gossiping and laughing together in the back. I yell “hello?” And nobody attends to serve me. I wait 5 minutes and yell again that I have an appointment at 12:30. Someone finally comes to the front and tells me that they Cancelled my appointment. Funny how no one bothered to tell me. No apologies, no sincerity, just bad service. I had to book off time at work for this appointment, had to drive 20 minutes there and back, I had to chug 1L of water and was not allowed to pee in advance of this appointment, and now I have to do it all over again. Horrible service. Just horrible. Wasted time and money and literally zero service. The receptionist have ZERO regard for human well being or customer care.

    There was no one at the reception desk, and I had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to arrive. Then, the receptionist said that my appointment had been changed earlier that morning because the technician had called in sick. I had to drink 1 litre of water prior to my arrival, so there was no way I could come back 3 hours later. Avoid this location.

    My dad had an appointment there. The doctor sent him a picture of his requisition and I printed it for him the way it sent to me. Clear and able to see everything (signature of doctor, info, and what needs to be done) and they told my dad that this wasn’t valid and he needs to get a better requisition. Instead of calling the doctor and having it faxed right away or possibly asking him to email the picture to them of the requisition but nope. He had to use a sick day to attend this and it’s now “wasted” sick day

    Not sure why the low reviews. I had a very pleasant experience for my ultrasound. Receptionist was very kind and friendly and got me in within minutes. The technician was AMAZING!! Clinic is super clean and quiet. 5 stars!!

    I had the chance to go for x ray at this location and I was received by Nancy at the reception. I was really impressed with her customer service. She was always very friendly, courteous and professional with every single client that entered the facility… what a valuable employee! I commend her for her hard work and wonderful personality!

    So friendly! Very clean and organized. The front desk and ultrasound technician were both professional and welcoming. They are keeping up on their covid cleaning too which was nice to see. Highly recommend.

😠 Poor service. Not welcoming at all, unfortunately this is our third visit and every time we visit its the same if not worse experience. Front desk are never welcoming, very demanding and provide an unpleasant welcoming. I hate giving poor reviews but unfortunately for a place like this they deserve...
