I met with Marlee Held when I had intense sciatica and could barely move around. I’m a physically active person in general but when I met with Marlee I could barely move & had sleepless nights due to the sciatica pain! On my first appointment when Marlee said that she might be able to help me get better in 5 sessions I thought that was impossible but I was wrong!! Marlee was professional, understanding and I can proudly say I got back to my routine after the 4th physiotherapy session. Also wanted to give a big shout out to Richard for the doing acupuncture and needling which was included in my physiotherapy session. Would highly recommend seeing these two if you are experiencing sciatica! They also have payment arrangements(reduced fees) for peeps who do not have insurance!

Could not recommend the clinic and especially Felix enough! Have been going to him for about 3 years now for a chronic lower back issue and every time I leave I am pain free. Hes an amazing massage therapist who listens to what issues you have that day and makes sure you are taken care of. Most of all he does not recycle the same massage time after time so its always changing. Everytime I'm back in ottawa I make sure go stop by the clinic to see Felix and I suggest you do too!!

Great clinic and friendly helpful staff. I’ve been greatly helped by Felix Conyedo’s massage treatments. Initially these helped me manage pain and mobility issues stemming from spinal stenosis, and eventually helped prepare me for spinal fusion surgery. His treatments are now a key element in my ongoing recovery. I found him very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Their hands-on work and personalized care have been immeasurable. They both always take the time to observe and listen to carefully to make sure that I am doing my exercises properly without overdoing it. I was suffering from a chronic injury that wasn't getting better on its own, so on a friend's recommendation, I sought treatment at this clinic. So glad I did! The physiotherapist who helped me, Yannick, is a knowledgable, attentive, and skilled professional who over the course of several weeks helped me reduce and eliminate the inflammation in my wrist, regain my range of motion, and resume my everyday activities without pain. Each visit, he listened to my concerns and self-reported progress, carefully assessed my progress, applied necessary treatments, and walked me through customized exercises to do at home. It is a busy clinic, but Yannick always made sure I got the care I needed and was comfortable and at ease. Finally he is a personable individual with a great sense of humour, who loves helping people. The other staff at the clinic were also great to interact with: Richard, Cathy and Polly. I made the best decision coming here for my ankle sprain. Richard has been amazing and helped me get better in a couple of weeks. They know what they are doing and know exactly where to work on. Also had the chance to work with Yannick, who is equally proficient. Both of them are very welcoming and experts in what they do. Highly recommended for my fellow injured soccer players!

I am very impressed with the level and depth of care I have been receiving as I progress in the healing of my injury. Kirstie also sent a comprehensive report to my family doctor to ensure that all aspects of my recovery were being dealt with, including those outside of her purview. On two occasions, treatment was done by Richard and he was excellent as well. Overall, the atmosphere at this clinic has a great vibe and is very relaxing. I highly recommend their services.

This is a well run physiotherapy clinic with excellent physiotherapists and assistants. Richard has helped me extensively with minimizing and fixing knee pain. Sessions are enjoyable and respectful.

I injured my tennis arm the Friday before the Labour Day weekend. As it seemed severe, I called about 10 physios and was having no luck until I was lucky to get a spot Saturday morning with Megan Davis. Now I am glad the others were full. Megan Davis assessed the injury and gave me exercises, then saw me again Tuesday morning and worked on it some more. It feels so much better. She also sent her findings to my physio closer to home. I was impressed by her and the organization's professionalism. It also saved me a weekend of worry.

Thanks to Yannick, over 2 months on Sundays, I went from a fair amount of pain to none. Very professional, a friendly comfortable place. Highly recommended, and will return there as needed. BTW, this place has treated 3 generations of Smiths.

From the very beginning the treatments have been discussed and fully explained, provided professionally and adapted as changes (read improvements) occurred. The atmosphere is particularly supportive and upbeat. Highly recommended.

OPSC in Westboro was referred to me by a friend and I have found that my experience there has met my expectations. I find that the staff is courteous, cheerful and very knowledgeable. My treatments have been with Richard but executed mainly by Denise, a student completing a 6-week educational training session. She has been an excellent physiotherapist-in-training and although she is supervised by Richard, I would prefer to have more of the hands-on applications performed by him since he has more strength and expertise. All in all I am very happy with the services I've received and would not hesitate to recommend OPSC to my relatives and friends.

My experience at the Westboro Clinic was extremely positive. Yannick was very attentive and fun and the explanations and exercises he gave were clear and very helpful. My back has never been better after my sessions there and with continued exercising. Other staff there were pleasant and helpful and the place has an extremely pleasant vibe.

My teenage daughter has been seeing Merrill Pappin, PT, for a sports injury and post-surgery rehab and she is excellent! Merrill is very skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and genuinely cares. She always takes the time to explain what she is doing and why and answers all of our questions. Her expertise and support have been so valuable for my daughter's recovery. I would highly recommend her services and the OPTSC!

I am very pleased with the service and results from Ottawa Physio at Westboro. Very professional setup, good flexibility setting appointments and good use of technology to provide exercise summaries between treatments. I'd I need to recover in the future, I'll be back.

Great clinic! Booking is easy, staff are friendly and the therapists know their stuff. I decided to come in to work on some sports-related injuries that were starting to bother me. Marlee has been helped me identify and strengthen weak points so that I stay healthy and injury free. Would recommend her to anyone!

One of the best places in Ottawa for physio therapy. I went in for Bell’s Palsy and recovered fully in 2 weeks. Then we continued on with post concussion exercises and I’ve never felt any better. Highly recommend Kristie !! But the others sound to have the best attitudes, making the environment an easy going, fun place.

My experience at the Churchill Ave site was amazing. . The physio therapists are Friendly, competent, encouraging, patient, and always work as a team. My therapist was Lucus and he worked hard to get me rehabilitated and functioning well . This was through covid and it also helped me mentally during lockdown. Any of the therapists would walk by and encourage you as well. Physio certainly helps you overcome injuries and get you able to function normal lives again. Many thanks for all your help and care

I came to the clinic with severe back pain and met with Andre. He spent an hour assessing me and started therapy in the same session. Now 5 weeks later I almost pain free and have recovered most of my mobility by following the physio exercise schedule Andre developed for me. I have been to physio many times over the years and am usually very impressed with the skill and training of the therapists. Andre has been instrumental in my recovery. He genuinely loves his job and I was impressed with his knowledge, skill and upbeat attitude. Thank you!

I have had several sessions with Richard and am pleased to say that my issues are fully resolved. Richard and his colleague Yannick were very upbeat and encouraging throughout my many visits. Recently finished a 16 session treatment regime for an IT band/knee issue with Richard. Being 51 and active all my life I’ve had physio innumerable times for various sports related injuries and my experience at the Westboro clinic was great! I was referred to OPTSC in Westboro by a friend for physio after knee surgery. Could barely bend the knee but after a few sessions coupled with the home program, I can now walk with very slight pain. Very professional staff, accommodating and always willing to help...I will recommend them again and again..

In 2022, I was diagnosed with polymyalgia, inflammation in my upper arms and hip/thigh. Richard & I set goals to reduce pain & increase range of movement. 7 weeks later, we agreed that goals had been achieved. A friendly informal atmosphere made the whole thing a great pleasure.

Andre Doucette was great. I walk a lot. Knee problems, doctor recommended physio. Family member recommended this clinic. Andre's work and advice on exercises has helped greatly.

All staff are courteous and knowledgeable. Megan is very thorough and explains all the theory behind her practice which I find very helpful. She is always pleasant and does a great job answering all of my questions - which is saying a lot! I would not hesitate to recommend your clinic to anyone.

Very good physio in all aspects. Assessment was thorough and good excercises were prescribed for home. The weekly visits reinforced the home excercises and kept me on track and progressing.

Not proud of it but it took me more than a month to finally seek help for the hip/back issue that I was experiencing. Kirstie has been an all-star in getting me back on track so that I could finally head out to the golf course again. It’s been 3 sessions thus far and there is more work to go but the progress has been outstanding. The exercises are specific, simple and targeted. If this review could be you, don’t wait! Call them.
