Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend! The Lisgar location is absolutely charming, easy to access even from out of town and the parking situation is great (some free spaces and LOTS of street parking). Friendly staff, easy appointment booking and flexibility if needing to reschedule. Acupuncture was suggested to help with my IVF fertility journey and after some research I booked an appointment with Martin. Honestly one of the best decisions of my life! He helped me achieve the perfect state of body and mind to help our last embryo implant and, next thing you know, I’m pregnant! He even went out of his way to accommodate an extra appointment the day of the procedure, for which I am so very grateful for. I cannot thank Martin and the Oaktree team enough!

I've been going to Oaktree Health Clinic on Lisgar Street for about 4 months now, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only are the ladies a ray of sunshine at the front desk, but they are very understanding and welcoming. I see Dr. Vanessa for Chiropractic, and she is very patient and knowledgeable. I went in for lower back pain, and Dr. Vanessa has helped me achieve better posture, and eliminate the lower back pain. Where do I even begin? I've been going for Oaktree for close to 4 years now; I started out with Chiropractic care first. I appreciate the time and dedication Dr. Emilie makes for her patients. Teaching them more about chiropractic care and how it benefits you even in ways you didn't think possible! I've learned to listen to my body even more, and I know when I need an adjustment! Along with chiropractic care, I started Acupuncture; Martin has saved my life in so many ways. I didn't realize how effective acupuncture can be to help me control my anxiety, and I am now better equipped to deal with challenges I face in my day-to-day life. When you go to Oaktree, you're not just a number on a file; you become a friend and can meet so many incredible individuals with the community they've grown. Much like an oak tree! I can not recommend them enough; they honestly have changed my life for the better!!

I had the terrible misfortune of falling prey to Dr Emilie's slyness. She made me sign up for three months, charging $420/month with twice weekly appointments that made my condition worse. It's been a month since I quit going to this so called 'clinic' and what they call 'adjustments', and my overall condition is SO much better. It worsened under her care and I had to start using crutches and even a wheelchair. Now I do not need to use these on most days. I can guarantee that she doesn't know what she's doing. Is great at small talk and throwing terms around but honestly she does not know anything about pelvic conditions atleast. She even made me email her the entire list of treatment workouts that a physiotherapist sent me, cuz she was clueless of how to deal with the case herself. Moreover, her receptionist Brogan sent me away from my appointment because the monthly payment they withdrew from my credit card wasn't showing up on their system albeit it appeared withdrawn on my account which I showed them. Still they didn't allow me in. Lack of talent + lack of knowledge + lack of professionalism combined with plenty of greed = Oaktree at Lisgar St.

The staff at the downtown location are always so friendly and welcoming when I come to their office. I have been going to see Dr. Vanessa for a little over a year and I have seen a lot of improvement since I first started going to see her for chiropractic care. Dr. Vanessa is really knowledgeable and helpful if you have questions or concerns. I would 100% recommend Oaktree to anybody looking to improve their overall health!

The Oak tree heath center is always well kept, clean and you always get a warm welcome at the register along with some hot tea. I started going there for chronic issues that plagued my day to day living and made me dynamically disabled. Since my first treatment my level of pain has dimmed down considerably and helped me participate with more ease and independence in my daily activities. I have been totally ridden of some of my symptoms and ailments. Dr Martin always listens to your issues and precisely targets them. Which is very much appreciate. After each session I always feel great relief. Overall my experience at the establishment has provided solutions to many of my aches and pains longterm and short term.

Oak Tree clinic is great; The staff offers a personable experience. The reception staff is always professional and greets you with a nice welcome. More over, Dr Vanessa who I've been seeing for my readjustments for 6 months now, is a very knowledgeable Chiropractor. She will go into the specifics, answer any questions and/or concerns you may have, and explain the science behind the need for a readjustment. She also takes time to ask how you are adhering to treatments, and life in general. Throughout the course of my journey, I've seen positive results in both the short and long term. For all the above reasons, I highly recommend this clinic.

When I came to Oaktree, I was new to Chiropractic care and was desperate to work on improving my forward head posture. I have been a patient of Dr. Vanessa's for over 6 months now and with the help of adjustments in addition to my home care program, I have seen progress that I had not seen with other forms of care. I have been adjusted by both practitioners at the Lisgar location and they are very friendly and reassuring throughout the treatments. I especially appreciated that the care plan was adjusted according to my financial needs. Front desk staff is super friendly and quick to respond to emails/inquiries as well. I had chronic pain for over TWO YEARS after a freak accident. My wrist was very weak and wouldn't let me do daily tasks. I was skeptical about acupuncture but boy was I wrong! Martin listened to me and asked me all the important questions. 2 months later, my wrist is almost back at 100%! I couldn't believe it. Highly recommend this place. I have been going to Oaktree Health for their Chiropractic Services for the past year, and I could not imagine not seeing Dr. Vanessa and the receptionists wonderful and smiling faces! Every time I come in, I am greeted (by name!) by one or two of the very friendly receptionists who ask me how I am, and are always very accommodating with my ever changing schedule as a Nurse, scheduling, rescheduling, and rescheduling again my weekly appointments! The wait to see Dr. Vanessa is never very long, and most of the time her friendly dog Wes is there to keep you company and is eager to play with you and be given attention. Dr. Vanessa is open, understanding, caring, and gentle. You can tell she cares about her patients and wants to help them in any way she can, and she remembers personal life details about her patients which is amazing given how many patients she sees! I have been to other chiropractors before, but none were as thorough or as caring as Dr. Vanessa. She takes a holistic approach to your spinal health, and her care is worth the 20-30min drive downtown to and from Barrhaven 1-2 times a week!

I have been going to Oaktree Lisgar location since September 2018! Dr Emilie and Dr. Vanessa and the whole team at Oaktree are all so wonderful and knowledgeable. I first came to the clinic with chronic neck pain, headaches and sinus issues. I was drawn them specifically as they offer x-rays and continual progress reports which I truly appreciate to monitor and keep track of how far I’ve come. I’m able to work and be active without debilitating neck pain now and my headaches are gone. It’s such a relief. I look forward to my bi weekly adjustments and continue to work on my at home exercises and at home traction. I cannot express how much I appreciate how accommodating and flexible they are with my ever changing schedule as a nurse working shift work. I couldn’t recommend Oaktree enough!! I’ve been going 3 times a week since Sept 2022 and have noticed a world of difference!! Dr. Vanessa has been able to help me get to the root of so many of my problems!! Everyone is always so welcoming, and very accommodating if I need to adjust my appointment schedule for any reason, which is greatly appreciated. Of course, the most important note is the quality of care which I could not be more happy with! I’ve been to other chiropractors before but had never been provided with a long term care plan, and therefore only saw temporary relief, but still lived in pain for many years. I cannot say enough about Martin and Dr. Emilie. I experienced a myriad of issues including neck and shoulder pain that lasted 15yrs without any relief. Once Martin and Dr. Emilie started treating me, the neck and shoulder pain went away with 2 chiro treatments, the other ailments were treated with regular adjustments and working with Martin in acupuncture and acupressure sessions. I have been receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Vanessa for over a year now and don't anticipate stopping any time soon. I initially went to Dr. Vanessa with low back pain and chronic headaches. I was mostly focused on my back pain as several doctors, over the past 20 years, haven't been able to solve my headaches. Within weeks of seeing Dr. Vanessa my headaches started to improve.
