Brew donkey offers a great tour and Julia was an incredible tour guide. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you find yourself in Ottawa and you are even remotely curious about beer, take the tour :).

What an amazing tour. Julia is great she is friendly personable and admits she isn't a brewer. She keeps the tour moving and is a great person to the team. The breweries Dominion City, Stray Dog and Brickworks are all great sites and have great teams running the tours for each site. Amazing time. Thank you.

Wow, Brew Donkey tours truly know how to strike the perfect balance between learning and laughter! We had a lot of fun on our first Brew Donkey tour. The original tour we had booked ended up not having enough people so they allowed us to choose a different one and gave us an upgrade. The organizers are very friendly and personable, and all the guests on the tour were treated like friends by the tour guides and brewery staff. We will book again!

A great tour, the tour guide was very informative and made sure everyone was having a good time. It was my first time drinking beers from those breweries and it was amazing talking to the brewers about the process, and all the beers were spectacular. It did help that I got to do my two favourite things (learn and drink beer). I now have a go to activity when friends and family come to Ottawa.

Not only do Brew Donkey tours take us there to visit the local breweries and sample their suds, but the organizers also get us access to visit the production side. We have even been able to talk shop with brewery employees, Brew Masters and even owners, on occasion. The guides who come along are informative and entertaining; do not forget to tip the driver! I cannot think of a better way to get out and enjoy a few beers with likeminded people.

I planned a private tour with 25 friends for hubby's 50th…. over two years ago…. then COVID! :( I really have to thank Brad for working with me as I rescheduled this twice over the past six months. We finally went last Saturday and it was AMAZING!! Brad is extremely knowledgeable about the local craft beer scene, a great story teller and a super fun host and guide! We and all of our guests had a fantastic time. Everything was perfectly organized and coordinated, and Brew Donkey thinks of every last detail. I can’t recommend them enough, do a tour, you will have a great time!

Wonderful tour. A group of friends and I went on a tour to three breweries in Gatineau on April 23 and had a great time. Our host Graham was really accommodation and knowledgeable (I think he brews at home). No complaints!

Was a great time, we had our host Tyson who absolutely killed it and we met the owner Brad who was an absolute pleasure to talk to! We had a very small group of 7 but I think it was nicer that way. We stopped at Beyond the Pale, Bicycle, and Shillow who were all amazing people. Clearly lots of passion in this tour and id love to thank Tyson, Clyde the bus driver and Brad for putting this on for us!

Brilliant tour company (Brad), tour guide (Dan) and driver (Simon)! Came up to Ottawa for a conference and had the best time visiting a couple of breweries (Stray Dog and Broad Head) tasting beer and learning tons about the beer making process too! Highly recommend this tour.

Brad and Dan were awesome! I was in Ottawa for a work conference, and we had a craft brewery tour as a team building activity. Great time, great breweries (Beyond the Pale, and Dominion City). 5 stars all day long for these guys!!

Have been on a couple of these tours and do they ever deliver a good time! It's fun to see inside the local breweries and hear from the brewmasters and staff. Highly recommended experience if you're in Ottawa and love tasting beers in a fun, social environment.

Really fun experience. We did a Monday tour that lasted 3 hours. 2 stops. Mill st and beyond the pale. Everyone was friendly and the beer was high quality. Cool bus with a funny and sweet driver (Debbie).

Tour completely surpassed our expectations. Very fun, entertaining and educative and soaked in GREAT BEER!!! Learned a great deal that day and also translated in greater appreciation for local businesses. Our Guide Isabelle was fantastic, she kept us on schedule but handled the crowd so we could make the max out each visit and try some other brews that we didn't sample in the taproom. In two out of 3 stops of the tours, the owners themselves hosted us and you could tell the passion on the stories they shared. We got a rented yellow school bus as the brown Donkey bus was in use probably, our driver was very professional as well. Highly r3ecommended, will be doing it again for sure with my dad and maybe even with the same friends I went with. Keep up the great work guys!!

Absolute blast! The tours were with knowledgeable and friendly staff, with ample delicious samples. Each place had different info to ensure you weren’t hearing the same things over and over. Excellent guide and driver. Overall a lot of fun!

We've probably done about 13 tours with Brew Donkey and plan on doing more. There are a variety of tours to enjoy, the guides are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and we've always had a great time.

Such a fun experience! The tour guide was amazing, everything was well organized. We did whiprsnapr brewery and a red blacks game and it was so much fun. The bus driver and tour guide were both very friendly and funny. We will definitely be taking some more tours!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! This is a very well organized tour with hilarious guides and awesome people who join you. The food options were very generous. I highly recommend a brew donkey tour as a date activity, birthday, anniversary gift, or just because you love beer.

Excellent beer tour! Did the West Ferments Express Tour and saw the Small Pony Barrel Works, Ogham Craft Spirits and Kichesippi Beer Co. Brad was an engaging guide, and the experience at each location was excellent. Would recommend!

We did the Rideau Rally for a surprise birthday present. The breweries were a great mix of styles, lightly informative but never boring. Lots of time to just enjoy the company of your group. The BD staff were incredible and fun. So relaxing to be driven around no worry about drinking and driving. The five hours flew by. Great lunch and snack provided. The bus just needs some cup holders ! Loved every minute. Will definitely go again ! Thanks David and Trevor

Brad and his team exceeded all expectations on our most recent tour. Fantastic customer service from the moment we bought our tickets to the end of the event. Brad went above and beyond to accommodate our group, and communicated all schedule changes in advance. Axe throwing was a blast and the breweries we visited were awesome. This was a great date night experience. The tour guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable. The breweries were tasty with a wonderful atmosphere. I am already planning to return to two out of the three stops.

Very well organized and well run! Great host(s) leading the tour, the bus driver does a great job, they partner with great breweries, and the snacks/food are delicious. Overall a really fun time!

Amazing time had by all. Did the “buy local tour” and was able to visit several different place that were not all beer. Went to Kin Winery, Vodkow Vodka, Hummingbird Chocolates and Braumeister Brewery

Great brewery tour, only catch was our “lunch” was a dry pretzel... $40-50 would be a more reasonable price for what was promised. We could have hired a private driver or taken an Uber between the breweries and eaten $40 of McDonald’s each and still saved $10 a person

Had an amazing time at this tour, Dan was an amazing tour guide. He was quite knowledgeable and exciting. We went to 5 very unique brewerys and enjoyed each one. Would highly recommend this as a day trip!

We had a fun and safe experience with Brew Donkey on the Rideau Rally tour. The breweries we went to each had something different, showcasing the diversity of the Ottawa beer scene. The social distancing protocols were well thought through, with each booking becoming its own bubble for the duration of the tour. Recommend!

So much fun! I have bought this as a gift once for my parents (they loved it) and for my partner's birthday, which we did together. We did a full-day tour - everything was great, including the lunch provided. I really appreciate that they have a vegan option that is not thoughtless like a salad. Instead, the cater makes a vegan wrap. It is very clear the owner and the tour guide care a lot about guest experience and want to ensure that everyone is happy and accommodated. I will do another tour again.

Our best tour experience since COVID happened! We had Brad as a guide for today during the Y-East tour. Very insightful and fun to have the owner give us a tour like that! Not only were the brews delicious, the dynamic and back story behind each visited breweries was the most interesting. Had great talks and chit chat with each guides from the breweries!They TRULY deserve your business if you're reading this and we'll definitely be back for more. Thanks again :)

We decided to book a fun team building activity with Brew Donkey Tours last summer. We had a group of 25 including some of our colleagues from Berlin, Germany. They said it was the most unique experience they'd had in Canada so far. We had such a fun and informative evening touring Dominion City Brewing Co. followed by axe throwing at LumberJaxe. Brew Donkey really goes above and beyond to build great relationships with the folks at each stop. Our amazing tour guide Alexi Merkis made the evening a blast and took great care of our team. I would highly recommend booking a tour for any corporate functions or fun with friends!
