This kilometers long trail is beautiful to walk or go skiing on with family and friends. When walking around the area you may notice some steel manholes, pipes sticking out of the ground and even smell some odours. Look for a hill in the area. That area use to be an Ottawa dumpsite. It would be interesting to find out how well this reclaimed land has performed over time. If the soil is returning back to normal or if the land has hidden toxins that will affect the environment for decades to come. If you like my reviews, videos or photos don't go toxic just work towards a positive legacy for future generations to make the world a better place.

This is a beautiful trail, well maintained. Easy. I went thanksgiving weekend and saw a lot of young families. It's a nice easy trail with no major challenges but a beautiful walk all the same. The parking lot isnt very large and fills up quickly when busy, but again that may have been because it was a long weekend.

I walked and biked it, both times very enjoyable. This is a very popular trail with walkers and dog walkers.

The trail is quite easy and flat. At times you are walking through a forest of trees, other times you are walking down a regular dirt road. There are a few boardwalks to be found. Bug spray was needed for the forested sections. There were a handful of people on the trail jogging, biking, and walking pets. You can get to this trail either from the east via the P20 lot, or from the west at the corner of Walkley Rd and Ramsayville Rd. The P20 parking lot has a restroom and some picnic tables.

Heads up as of the storm they have been slowly clearing away the wreckage. It's probably going to be another few weeks before we can go deeper in. It is so beautiful and peaceful. A good trail for beginners as there is no incline. There is also a boardwalk for part of the way. Lot's of wildlife to be seen. Anything from turtles, to birds, to squirrels and chipmunks.

Mostly flat trail, good for trollers. Lush and tranquil area. Dogs allowed on leash (not allowed in the winter I believe).

Comfortably wide paths, pretty level terrain. There's lots of those small birds that really aren't afraid of humans at all. Lots of chipmunks. There is parking right at the corner of Walkley and Ramsayville...has room for about 6 cars or so. It's a bit of a hazard to park there honestly, since it's right on the outside of a pretty sharp curve and both roads have 80km/h traffic.

Amazing trail year round. Spacious enough for easy distancing during Covid times.

Trails are very well marked and walkable, there's a lot of birds, and it was just gorgeous in the fall.

Great place to hike. Mountain bike. Trails go on forever. Board walks cut threw swampy areas. Lots and lots of chickadees waiting to eat straight out of your hands

Normally I go in the winter to cross country ski. This was my first time walking. Unfortunately, the trail is not officially open due to the damage sustained from the May storm and the number of trees that fell.

Nice view, perfect for evening walk, but keep the mosquito spray on you.

Nice easy walk. Fall colours are just barely starting. Damage from May 21 storm has been cleaned up, but very much in evidence.

Beautiful trail even with all the downed trees in the woods. A very nice walk and close to home.

Really good trail, definitely bring some bug spray if you don’t want to get eaten alive. Has some views by the water, and use the map as there are a lot of checkpoints to navigate through. Relatively easy and fun trail for regulars.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Parked at P9 off Moodie, lots of space. Some picnic tables on edge of P9. Washrooms at P9. I walked every trail except one where the boardwalk is damaged they closed it. Varied ecosystems provide for huge variety. Very picturesque.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One will easily miss this falls from the road... There isn't available parking, no bathroom nor garbage can, the terrain is slippery and certainly not recommended for bathing or drinking water here, be prepared to park up the road and walk, wear good hiking shoes, enjoy the views of the Falls and do...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Went for a short "me time" walk, and as usual I was able to see nature in the city, like this cute hare. At this place you can feed birds (chickadees and nuthaches), see deers, wild turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunk and a porcupine if you are lucky. If you go to the left trail, and then turn 1st le...
