Healthy falafel with the perfect crisp. Very friendly and generous service at this family operated restaurant. Also they use compostable containers and napkins. Well earned 5 stars for this place. They're also open for extended hours from 9 to 9.

First time trying this place and it exceeded all expectations. The halloumi panini was one of my favourite things on the menu, fresh and full of flavour. The veggie plate was delicious and not greasy at all. The Kafta is very tasty and the sandwich was huge. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back. The staff is very kind and extremely helpful. The food is fresh, clean and so tasty. Portions are very generous and the place is very affordable. Definitely a must try if you are ever in Ottawa.

Finally tried this outstanding restaurant when we wanted something delicious for dinner. What a meal! The falafel are fresh and moist. The hummus was probably the best I've had in Ottawa. And the potatoes are absolutely the best anywhere!! And you get a lot of food for the money. It's an exception value. And they are very considerate about celiac and gluten free diets so there is no bulgar in the tabbouleh or pita chips in the salad.

This place is amazing. Best grape leaves in Ottawa. Everything is tasty. The hummus is scrumptious. Even the rice is flavourable. Definitely a great value for price. Highly recommend this place. The kabob platter was big enough to feed two on its own, But no regrets. Satisfying and delicious.

I stumbled into Greens & Beans, hungover just before doing my Saturday morning groceries at NuGrocery. The portion size was substantial, as it filled me up and healed me from the late night I had the evening before. This was my first time eating these dishes and I loved them. This is the perfect hangover cure. The owner was absolutely lovely. She walked me through the menu and gave me a free pavlova because it was my first time.

This is a hidden gem! The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Stumbled upon this place by accident and tried their falafel and it was delicious, not many places in Canada can perfect it but they got the recipe down. Second time I came I got the chicken platter and a kafta sandwich, both 10/10. Well priced. Clean, homey, cute decor. Can't wait to go back!

I was in the area and I stumbled across this absolute hidden gem!!🤩 Upon entering, I was greeting by two incredibly hospitable ladies that went above and beyond to ensure our experience exceptional. The food was very authentic and flavorful and the restaurant was very clean and the environment was very welcoming and warm. The owners are clearly very passionate and put a lot of love into their craft. It shows in the quality of food and service. Thank you so much for an exceptional experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, will be a regular customer.

A first-class experience at this casual and unpretentious middle-eastern food restaurant. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Everything was flavourful and cooked perfectly, served with 3 different purees/sauces. The portion size was generous and the price fair. The service was outstanding.

Dropped in for lunch and it did not disappoint! My son had the vegan poutine and is still raving about it. Excellent service, incredible food. Highly recommend

Almost all the meal is prepared infront of you! The falafel is the best I've ever had. Amazing value. Don't go in a rush though, enjoy it.

Amazing food and amazing service! The Falafels were freshly made and all of the flavours on the plate hit the mark perfectly. This was one of those unexpectedly yummy meals we had while passing through this neighbourhood - and thank god we did! We will be back !

This is my favorite Falafel place in Ottawa, and I just love all thier food. Overall the food is amazing! The fruit cocktails are delicious, and I love getting those to my kids as a healthy sweet treat :) The staff are very hospitable and friendly. We went once to try it and fell in love with the place, we have been going often and it never failed us. Great food and great service.

Excellent food and such friendly service. I’m not even vegetarian and I enjoy stopping by for a quick bite and sweet treats. The bean soup is savoury and hearty and the falafel is crispy without being oily. Best of all is the qatayef dessert. Perfectly crispy and creamy and oh so sweet.

Every time I come here, it's an extraordinary experience. The service is warm, personable and genuine, making me feel at home. The food is always a knockout - fresh, delicious and made with care. (Much of it is plant-based/vegan as well!) The atmosphere is beautiful and clean. I've been here twice in the past 2 weeks, which is remarkable considering how far away I live. Highly recommended!

These reviews don’t lie. This is authentic Lebanese food. Falafel is unreal, and Akkawi cheese pie is delicious. The gentleman working there especially took great care of us and provided excellent service.

Absolutely wonderful experiences. The employees are kind, talkative and accommodating. I'm celiac and they were careful to tell me what was okay for me to eat and ensure that I got gluten free options. The falafel is gf and delicious! All their food is prepped in front of you so it takes a little bit of a wait, but the restaurant has a great atmosphere and you can taste the freshness. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

The fatouche salad is sublime. Homemade and very fresh. I added chicken and tahini on top. It’s very much a meal.

I am a parent of a child and a coach for many other kids who go to a school across the street from this establishment. My kids often tell me great things about the food here. Tonight I decided to treat some of the many children I call mine to the food here. I sent 2 kids inside tonight around 7:30pm to make an order. They were met with a bald skinny Lebanese man approximately 45years old. The boys ordered 4 large poutines and after asked if they could have chicken on it. The man then asked “if we were gonna make up our minds”. The boys brushed it off as though he was maybe having a bad day. As they were getting ready to pay he asked them “if they were sure we could afford their food”. They felt quite discriminated against in that moment, but paid anyways. Before the man handed them their food he asked if “they had no food at home” they ignored him, took the food and left. They told me what he said, so I went back at approximately 7:50pm. The door was locked. So I knocked. He came and said they were closed. I found that strange since google states they are open until 9pm. I asked him his name. He says Waseem but I’m sure he gave me a fake name. I could not believe the racism that my kids encountered at this establishment. I don’t care how good your food is, if you don’t have appropriate customer service, in a food industry, you have ZERO business being open. Not to mention there are 2 schools a rock toss from this place with children of all races that are the reason your establishment is still open. I expect an apology from both the man described above AND the owner and some form of compensation as my order was over $60. If the employee can’t provide an apology to me and my children, I hope the owner is prepared to fire this racist.

Today we stopped into Greens and Beans for the first time and had an excellent experience! Friendly staff, and insanely delicious food! Great quality, atmosphere, welcoming to our kids, great value and we look forward to going back :-)

I have to say that the food here is excellent. Amazing home cooked food with great seasoning. A Lebanese - middle Eastern flair. I had a vegetarian plate with couscous and home made hummus.

The food is amazing - best falafel in Ottawa, absolutely delicious!! You have to try all the 3 different types of hummus they offer - yummy! Very cute and comfortable restaurant too, can’t wait till they’re open for dine in! The customer service was also an 11/10!!! Thank you for the awesome experience :)

Our new favourite for takeout—#fresh, succulent, flavourful, healthy, unique dishes served with a smile in an impeccably clean and welcoming place! You may be used to #falafel as stale, crumbly, tasteless blobs. Here they are made fresh and fried before your eyes, adorned with the most succulent trimmings, a generous helping, so satisfying! The #fries are out of this world, cut fresh and both crispy and flavourful. We especially appreciated the plastic-free packaging. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu!
