Honestly, my only complaint is about the customer service, just like everyone else coming to review… yea, the prices are crazy but worth it because their products are like crazy amazing quality. but, the employees…. I went in looking for the Wilfred Free Unwind Cardigan, I’d seen it in store a few weeks earlier. I wasn’t spoken to in the first 20 minutes of browsing the store, but was only spoken to when i had items in my hands (commission-based, ugh). I walked up to a manager with a clipboard and asked where the cardigan was, and then was passed off to another employee because she “didn’t have time” to show me. The girl she passed me off too showed me 2 cardigans that were not the one i was looking for, fine, maybe she wasn’t sure… but i found it 2 feet away from the one she showed me… the staff was great about asking me if i wanted a fitting room, putting my items at the register/in the dressing room while i browsed. that’s about the only thing they did well. I went to the fitting room to try it on in front of the mirrors and the staff was just blatantly rude. im a bigger girl and she just looked me up and down and said “this must be yours” and pulled out the XL cardigan (may not have been weight-motivated, but still felt like a diss). I then went to check out and she inputted my email wrong so i was never emailed my receipt. (Who doesn’t know how to spell autumn? it’s a season?) but anyways, long story short, Aritzia employees are actually the worst. thanks for the cute cardigan tho :)

My girlfriend and I went shopping here for a jacket as soon as we walked in we were welcome by 2 different associates which is fine and we let them know that we're shopping for a jacket and if we have any questions we would ask them. One associate named "Maria" Did not leave us alone although we told her we're fine and don't need help at this moment. She was pressuring my girlfriend into buying a jacket she wasn't 100% sure. My girlfriend and I felt really uncomfortable and awkward.

It’s a shame how this store chain treats some people, including myself, which I can only assume is because I am a visible minority. I have been shopping there because of the quality of their clothing. I have shopped in their stores in Montreal and Ottawa and I am constantly ignored, served after people coming in the store after me. I recently visited the Bayshore store in Ottawa because the girls at the Rideau centre store are rude to me when I go there. And despite standing in line for a long time and waiting for the cashier to serve me, she decided to first serve a lady who she saw had skipped the line. That lady was not a visible minority. This is only one instance of multiple similar experiences that I have had at Aritzia. I will no longer be shopping there and I will make sure to spread the word.

In general, I’ve had positive experiences with the staff, and they are usually friendly. However, trying on something in the fitting room is a whole other story. There are many things to say here, but the main thing that bothers me about Aritzia stores is the lack of a personal mirror in each individual change room. I asked an employee about it and she said it’s to encourage engagement between the customer and sales assistant and that it’s a company thing. I kindly said that a lot of people would be so happy to have their own mirror and that it kind of ruined the experience for me, since I can’t calmly look at myself in the clothing. I only walked out to see one item of clothing and it felt a bit embarrassing, as I noticed everyone sitting on the couches looking at me. Honestly I won’t be returning to the physical store anytime soon, I will stick to the website. And I’ve always found their stuff overpriced.

I like Aritzia and its clothes in general. I always love what I buy; I find the quality of the materials to be good and the style of the clothes to always be trendy but classy. But I find this location is always a miss for me. Every time I go in to try on/buy something I've seen online it's not in stock in my size or at all-- I might as well have just ordered online and saved the trip. To boot the service is realllly hit and miss. When I feel like treating myself, I do not shop in store because I don't want to risk souring my good mood with poor service. Maybe this is just a personal qualm but there's no mirrors in change rooms and SAs will comment on the fit of the clothing as you check yourself out in the communal mirrors. It's off-putting, personally. The service online is much better (maybe because there's receipts of the standard of communication?), you can try things on BY YOURSELF. You're better off using the physical store just to make your returns. Even if your SA likes you and especially if they're not interested in you, there's a real mean girl vibe going on that I'd rather skip out on.

Although I really like the clothing from Aritzia, the customer service from this location leaves a lot to be desired. Sales staff are rude and can be downright aggressive at times. They offered to hang pieces up for me which would have been nice had they not done that for every single item I looked at. After I declined their help numerous times, the girl following me became rude and practically grabbed the single shirt I was holding out of my hands. I understand they work on commission but such pushy tactics are annoying for the customer. Overall this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I advise other shoppers to just stick to their online website.

The staff wasn't rude but they're so rigid with their policy's its annoying, I had lost the receipt to jeans I bought the week before and they didnt fit. I just wanted to exchange for a different size. The jeans were still in stock and had full tags and everything and they said flat out no way. Annoying.

I bought a parka from this location for a good amount of money, I tried on many different styles colours and NO ONE asked to help. When I went up to pay for it , the women checking me out didn't even say hi, how are you or even bye! She acted like I was a BURDEN when really I am the customer!! This not only has happened once but a couple of times before. The clothing is great but it makes you rather buy it online then in store.

I love Aritzia’s clothing and have for many years. However they create a toxic work environment for their employees where the employees are forced to “make sales” by getting you to try things on and buy things so they can keep their jobs. This leaves them circling you like vultures the moment you pick up a piece of clothing so they can claim it as a sale. Also their online customer service is awful, I purchased a parka for over $400 and the same week I noticed a rip in the sleeve despite only have worn it twice. The fabric was advertised as Japanese made and rip resistant. I contacted customer service because I was devastated and they told me it was my fault and there was nothing they could do. No warranty or quality assurance of any kind on a $400 jacket. Also the sizing varies greatly in store, most of my pants from there are a 6 or 8 but sometimes I need to go up as high as a 12 to get them to button. There is not consistency among the brands they stock.

Would give 0 stars if I could, but anyways. At least the quality of the clothing is good, because the customer service is the worse I’ve ever seen. The girls who work here will downgrade you, and make you feel like you shouldn’t be in the store or buy anything from it. They should seriously either hire more friendly staff, or change the store policy towards client service, because it is downright ridiculous.

I ordered a parka at this location and they had it shipped to my house. I was told I would have 14 days to return it as of the time of purchase. This includes the shipping time, which took 10 days. So I had 4 days left to return it when I received it, which is ridiculous. I ordered another size and went back to the store on the 13th day to return the original parka, unworn. The staff said the return timeframe had passed and that they would give me a STORE CREDIT, on a 430$ parka (which I had already reordered, only in another size). They said the online policy says you have 10 DAYS to return an item as of the time of purchase. This is absolutely ridiculous, plus I was told I had 14 days to make a return, which is already quite unreasonable. I insisted on a refund, which they eventually agreed to. The staff was rude and not understanding at all. They didn't speak to me or even look at me until the transaction was over, only to remind me that they had made an exception, and that I should know that in future, I will have 10 DAYS to return an online order to receive a full refund. The clothes are nice but the customer service lacks quite a bit.

CUSTOMERS BEAWARE!!! I bought a pair of jeans that were apparently ‘on sale’ Aritiza rideau Center, however the original price was torn off the store label. I was told that it was a final sale, no returns or exchange. I went on line to see what the original price was and to my surprise, the original price was what I paid for despite the ‘on sale’ label in store. This is very deceitful. I have contacted the online store to complain the discrepancy. I will also be reporting them to customer service at the Rideau centre. *NOTE: You are best to try stuff on instore and purchase online if you don’t want to be deceived by the one at Rideau Centre.

The quality of service is inconsistent. Some sales girls are adorable and will do anything to help you find stuff and others are not so helpful and give you half of the info. I have come to appreciate Aritzia style more and more although I am much older than the typical client. Collective change rooms are annoying and although I don't care anymore for how people see me, I do feel for insecure teens and young adults who have to expose their flaws to anybody around, including men or whoever is sitting there, having nothing else to do than watching girls trying on clothes. Please install mirrors inside the changing rooms, is it that complicated?

Went in around quarter to 7 today and whoever was in charge was being very rude to their staff in front of customers, it was super uncomfortable so I left. Every sales associate looked miserable but thats at least understandable this time of year.

The security practices of this store are RACIST. I walked in for about 10 minutes on a busy Sunday afternoon and practically the whole time I was in there I was being closely watched by a tall white man who I later found out was the “risk associate”. The store was packed, but for some reason I was targeted as a “risk”, I can only assume it was my skin colour because my outfit was pretty basic. As a POC I’m not blind to racial profiling. I’m upset to have to deal with racism while simply trying to buy a shirt.

Certainly, here's a concise Google-style review for Artiza in Ottawa: Artiza in Ottawa left me somewhat disappointed. Despite being my go-to store in Vancouver for formal wear and work attire, the service here falls short. Ottawa may be smaller, but it's lacking in services. I've always loved their merchandise, but the Ottawa branch, like the city itself, was underwhelming. It's surprising that they don't have a stylist available. Three stars because the clothing is consistently great, but I deducted two stars for the overall experience in Ottawa.

    1) I hate that there are there no mirrors in the change rooms. Can’t I privately try on clothes without having to walk out and show everyone what they look like? Also, why are men allowed to sit in the room with the mirrors. They are able to see girls change or try on transparent clothing/clothing that may not fit properly 2) you should label the entrance to the line

As a costumer I noted Aritzia don't have stylist. I bought beautiful $99 shorts but they were not experienced to be able to provide me a look and did not care. So they made $100+tax. I went to Club Monaco with Aritzia shorts and they did a great job. Their stylist service is their strength and that's how they increase their sales. With Aritzia shorts Club Monaco made $650! Which is a loss for Aritzia. Also these ladies they hire are young and as a costumer I have a better stylist experience than them. I would recommend the management to review their strategy of sale. Instead of taking away outfits from clients hands you have to suggest them items that can go along with what you put away. By putting away outfits from clients hands you are cutting their inspiration. Sorry for you!

As a husband, shopping here is awesome. My wife can freely look around while I keep myself occupied playing their cool retro arcade game. If I need to relax and have a seat, there's plenty of seating available both in store and in the change room. It's built for a couples shopping experience. Sometimes we're in and out of the store. Other times we're in there for much longer, which is great because I get a lot of down time. I definitely recommended shopping at Aritzia for husbands who want to support their wife's but from a distance.

Despite my affection for the products that offers Aritzia, the experience in store is always disappointing when you don’t walk in with expensive looking cloths. I found myself ignored by both the entrance staff and an asian woman who, despite my presence in line, assisted someone behind me. Regrettably, this will be my final visit to this store and I will not be shopping from this brand anymore. I too work in retail and understand the importance of customer care without bias.

My previous experiences at this store have not been positive so coming in today - I was so nervous to be brushed off again. Not only did GRACE give me the best recommendation for the Slouch coat, she was knowledgeable on the fabrics and even helped me branch out of my comfort zone and chose a colour I hadn't originally thought of. Thank you soooo much Grace for your help today, here is the review as promised 🥰💞

I had an incredible shopping experience at this Aritzia, all thanks to the amazing help I received from Nicki! Her genuine positive energy, willingness to lend a helping hand and her knowledge of the merchandise made finding the perfect outfit a breeze. She helped me find the right styles and sizes. I felt safe and comfortable at Aritzia with help, support and guidance of Nicki. Such genuine kindness and willingness to assist without pressure were truly commendable. Aritzia is lucky to have such a dedicated and talented star. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was really disappointed with my experience here. Was working with this one stylist named Niky who told me ordering in store would be easier and faster than ordering online (more of an online shopper). I later realized she was just saying this to make the sale, because when the cashier messed up my order, it was a DISASTER to fix afterwards. Don’t be fooled like I was ladies, ordering online at aritzia is ALWAYS BETTER - more order details, ability to change the order, and much better customer service. Never again!

Aritzia Bayshore The staff in this store are rude and unprofessional. The staff pick and choose who to help and not to help. A performance review was given in the middle of the store one time when I was in and it was demeaning to the recipient.I am not sure why the staff are so snobby. It is ridiculous. I would rather shop online or have self checkout to avoid the staff in this store. If this is the best staff you can find I feel sorry for the owner!

usually have a great experience here! yesterday a blonde girl wearing jeans, working the change rooms was very helpful in finding me the sizes of pants i wanted and placing an online order as i didn’t know how to! it is costly here, however they have great quality clothing and i always find myself coming back/reccomending this place to friends. the manager is also very sweet. they do not have all sizes in stock which is often saddening, but that is to be expected witha. store like this:)

big shout out to Natasha who helped my partner feel comfortable trying on (and buying) his first skirt. he's a cis-gender man who's exploring different fashion expressions/challenging his biases and a brown skirt caught his eye. Natasha started a fitting room for him and made him feel very welcome and encouraged. stellar service, thank you so much!!!

Often going into a store like this can be intimidating, however, I had a fantastic experience with an associate named Bianca. Didn’t get a chance to say thank you for your help! She seemed very genuine in trying to help me find what I was looking for, and went above and beyond without seeming pushy. Wish every shopping experience could be that easy!
