What a great play date at Kaliyana today - it brought me back to the late 80s when the designer would close her store so I could try on almost everything there to see how many different ways some of the pieces could be worn. Today, I treated myself to 6 new pieces to add to my ever-growing collection. As an artist and public presenter, style & comfort are important to me. As I told the sales assistant, Kaliyana is part of my identity - my creative expression. I can't wait to wear my new pieces! Yay!

Kaliyana Ottawa is one of my favourite destinations to shop and has been for a number of decades. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff are there to guide and assist. The clothing is super comfortable, fun and easy to wear and you can mix and match new items with older wardrobe favourites. And you are supporting a local Canadian designer. I encourage you to visit their store.

Designs are interesting, never boring, comfortable and can mix and match from one year to the next. Although my go-to person In the Ottawa store is Anna, all the staff are knowledgeable, welcoming and enjoyable to work with. Always a great experience!

I saw the ad on Instagram and I was so impressed by the style that I needed to check it out. I was very impressed by the style, something I have been looking for for a while, and I couldn't believe I didn't know about Kaliyana before. The prices are reasonable for this type of fashion. I ordered the Moka Skirt in Polka Dots Carnaby and it is incredible. So stylish, fun, the material is great and soft, but good quality. It was very easy to order and the order arrived within a week. 100% coming back to purchase more and make fun layered outfits.

I hate shopping, especially for clothes, but my partner (who likes shopping for clothes) and I went to the Ottawa branch yesterday and Anna made the event so pleasurable and so unfraught that I enjoyed it tremendously. We really liked the way she gave advice but didn't ever push us into purchasing items about which we were unsure. Remember the song “baby, now that I found you I can’t let you go”? That’s how I feel about Kalyiana clothes. I replaced all of my five dollar Wish versions of giant flowy pants and long flowy tops with these absolutely beautiful pieces. I too treated myself and left with one pair of pants, two dresses, and one top. And i plan to go back for more.

I have been a customer of Kaliyana's Ottawa store for over 30 years. I have traveled twice a year to the store from St. Catharines, Ontario, which is a five hour drive in order to buy clothing from the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter collections. It is a must stop for one of a kind outfits which look great and make a statement in design, colour and pattern. I have many pieces that I bought long ago which are still incredible and can be worn with new pieces. The staff at the Ottawa store are like old friends and are extraordinary in helping to find just the right pieces for me. I started purchasing clothing from Kaliyana in my mid 30's and continue to be a devoted client in my late 60's. My mother was a client well into her 80's, so Kaliyana truly has something for women of all ages. In addition to the incredible clothes, Kaliyana has one of a kind jewelry to give that added dimension to an outfit and carries Arche and Trippen shoes. Arche have become my shoe designer of choice! Kaliyana is truly a one stop shopping destination. I also purchase online and there is a great selection and wonderful assistance if you are not sure about something. I travel a great deal and often get stopped by women asking about my Kaliyana outfits. They are unique and comfortable clothing and it is easy to become a fan! Well worth a visit if you are in Ottawa!
