This grocery store has literally everything you’d ever need for food And for excellent prices. Any nearby students should make this your primary grocery store. From amazing customer service to a variety of food options. In addition, they have one of the best Lebanese pies/Meat pies in all of Ottawa. Their bread isn’t doughy and they have the best balance of bread, meat and veggies. Good prices and a large of variety of pies and other bakery options. I’d recommend Cheese and Meat pie with olives and onions with lemon juice and spices.

Food Frenz is a great addition to the building. The staff is great and always makes for a great experience. The selection is also really good with a variety of products making it a one stop shop.The fresh food is to die for, the carrot cake is my favourite, but the Lebanese pies, samosas, and Greek salad come close. 10/10 would recommend stopping by!

Oops not sure what was up with the weird app glitch. But Food Frenz is easily one of the best convenience stores in the area. Huge selection, great location and an awesome owner! Definitely a must stop if you live in the area.

The person who served me was extremely friendly and even specially made me a pie that isn't on their menu. It’s been a really stressful time and his kindness definitely made the start of my holidays a lot better. I liked that the dough on the pies are not super thin and that they added a good amount of toppings to each pie, unlike some places I’ve been to. This will become my new go-to spot for manakish

I really like this tidy, well-organized place. They have all the essentials you could think of, and an interesting assortment of other things. I particularly like their calzone-style sandwiches, for example, which they reheat in a pizza oven instead of a microwave. Their cake and appetizers are good too.

The food here is fresh, tasty and varied. I have lunch from here most days and highly recommend it to anyone that likes lebanese style foods. The owner is a very nice guy and is super friendly. Please support local business and help them stay afloat during these hard times.

Food Frenz is the best everything store in Ottawa! They sell common essentials but my sister and I come specifically for their Lebanese pies. I had my first meat pie with cheese, lemon and spice and I was instantly hooked! I can't find it anywhere else, not even in Toronto. Their staff is super friendly and you will find an assortment of other fresh foods. I've also tried their tabbouleh which is very tasty.

Food Frenz is a great one stop shop for your grocery/convenience and hot manakeesh pies needs. They're the friendliest people and the food is delicious. I've tried a few of their pies and the MEAT AND CHEESE is amazing. They're an excellent option for an affordable and quick meal, especially for students! I drop by everytime I'm in the neighborhood.

I'm not in this area very often, but I'm super glad I ordered some falafels and meat & zatar pies from here when I was! Tasty, fresh, and packed full of flavour-- it was a really pleasant surprise and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Been coming here for years to get the lahmajun and I’ve tried almost all the different flavours now. They are all excellent and the variety they sell is amazing. The owner is very friendly and super nice to students and residents in the area. You’ll be sure to create a friendship the second you step foot in the store. There’s also a wonderful variety of middle eastern drinks that bring back memories. I’ve made sure to bring my friends, family and roommates here to have them all try the food and they all loved it! Be sure to stop by if you’re in the area and you won’t be disappointed!!

The best stop you'll make in Sandy Hill! Come for the food (it's super yummy, and well-priced) but stay for Jerry! I love stopping by here and getting a cheese hand pie. No matter what mood I'm in, I always feel happier after a chat with Jerry and a bite from Food Frenz! Recommending to all my friends :)

No matter what time of day I go to Food Frenz, the staff is always so welcoming and so sweet! Definitely a reliable convenience store. A must-try is their meat pies, try it with lemon and spices 😩 suuuper freaking good. Food variety is great, I can always find what I need there

Great store with a friendly atmosphere. They really do carry what seems to be a little bit of everything, and the prepared foods they offer (both meat pies and packaged foods like quinoa salads, etc) are all excellent as well. To top it off, both the owner and staff are extremely welcoming and personable. Great spot to shop!

I originally gave this a 5 star but I’m now changing it to a 2. Went in there tonight to buy a zaatar pie. I asked the lady at the bakery counter to kindly let me have the one in the “middle” because it looked more appealing to me. (When you’ve been fasting for 72 hours you want the one piece of food that you know you’ll definitely enjoy…) The Lady completely ignored what I asked for, and took the pie I clearly didn’t want, and began heating it up. I had to stop her and tell her, no I wanted the pie in the middle. She gave me a look like I was asking her for the world LOL. The whole time the pie was heating up it was incredibly awkward, she was extremely passive aggressive. I could feel she did not like my request nor was happy to accommodate me in the slightest. I paid for my pie and I left immediately in a bad mood, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again. Good bye :(

Great store in the neighborhood. The meat pie was great, a bit overpriced tho.

I read about this place a few weeks ago and stopped in today for the first time. What a gem! Super nice and clean. Super nice staff (the man at the cash and the woman at the deli counter). The take-home samosas and onion bhaji are far better than anything you would get at Metro or Loblaws. The take-out the feta and tomato calzone was delicious. We will be back - and soon.

On recommendation went to get the manakeesh. Wasn't disappointed, had the cheese manakeesh and also got falafel. Fair pricing and good quality, the service is great too.
