Above and beyond. Great location, large bedroom and staff is great. We book a room for Extended Stay Ottawa for a family trip as it looked great and neither of us had heard of this hotel before but after looking it up, realized the location was prime! The reception agent was very friendly, getting us checked in quickly. Our room was very clean and although we only stayed one night, I would definitely recommend these suites if you required an extended stay. Bed was very comfortable and the AC kept us cool throughout the night. The breakfast was the perfect morning start for us with it's selection. Overall no complaints; very satisfied with our stay. Thanks again!

We used this as an overnight stay before a flight the next afternoon. The suite was a fantastic fit for my hubby and I, our 2 year old, and my in laws. The included breakfast was decent, especially considering it was free. However, having fruit or yogurt would have been nice to grab. If we were staying for longer it would definitely be something we would shop for.

Great location. Hotel rooms are dated, elevators are tiny and slow, vending machines had no water and taps were lukewarm. If you're staying under 3 days they don't change sheets/towels - you need to request new towels (they only provided two 'large' ones in our room). After check out there was a *new* $10 tax I had to pay. All in all this is a $50/night motel quality stay with 3x the premium for a great location. Also, I booked two rooms with one of them checking in a day before the other. I requested they be close together if possible and was told that would be fine. The day I checked in I asked again and they said they made a note. The next day my father checked in and they told us the only room available was on the other side of the hotel (different elevators and no where close). They said we could have a small room on the same floor together, however. Of course no compensation was offered to take the smaller room since we prepaid.

Good enough for a short visit but skip breakfast. Building is within walking distance to fast food, pubs, and a grocery store. The family sized room was spacious, linen was clean. The free breakfast was limited to a couple options. Either stand in line for 30 minutes to make yourself a waffle or settle for a muffin. Coffee was yuck so I would not stay here for an extended time.

Great place for great value! Decent rooms with a small kitchenette, but has all the necessities. Free breakfast, which was average. Would have been better if they had some fruit or yogurt. But no complaints, I would go back.

Initially at check-in I was greeted by friendly staff and was given my room key. Hotel was clean and tidy but I encountered a very angry lady outside the hotel doors who claimed to be the General Manager. She was yelling at me in the most unusual and unpleasant manner. She threw false allegations concerning the beverage I had in my hand while I was having a cigarette and made quite a scene in front of other hotel guests and pedestrians. After this incident I alerted the front desk staff and they apologized for her behaviour. I seriously recommend that the mental health and capacity of the General Manager is examined by a medical professional to determine if she is fit for such a demanding position. Once again, I've never seen anyone in their right mind explode in such a way like the General Manager did on the night of February 15, 2018. I was taken back as to how she was acting like a child and was totally inconsiderate to not only me, but the other guests walking past. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I frequent Ottawa as I live in Toronto and travel here for work on a weekly basis and I've never had such a negative experience at a hotel. I will not tolerate the General Manager's immaturity and request immediate corrective action be taken to ensure no other guests are attacked by her horribly vicious demeanor.

It's like a one bedroom apartment with dishes, cups for two and pots and pans. There was hair on sheets and not the most comfortable beds. Bring dish soap. You will need more shampoo and conditioner too. A great price and stay for a family of 6 like us. A convenient location. Parking is $16/ night.

Central location. Rooms are comfortable. Equipped with full kitchen which is a bonus. Note that housekeeping service is limited but you can ask for more towels and toiletries at any time from the front desk. Gym is open 24 hours which is great. Parking can be pricey though.

This hotel is not the prettiest, but, it is good value. The suites, with separate bedrooms, are spacious and impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable with plenty of fabulous pillows. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help in any way they can. The breakfast room is spotless, plenty of tables and the food is continuously replenished. Wifi is fast and free. Parking is only $14 per day and you can come and go as you please. I've stayed their twice for business and will stay again. Location is great, very close to downtown. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Standard room with spacious living room. However we found our coffee table had nails sticking out of it from a missing piece. A used coffee cup in a drawer. TV remote buttons did not all work. Shower did not get hot on hottest setting - remained lukewarm. Breakfast was only toast and waffles. Car park in undercover area was convenient. Elevators were slow and small - one was also out of order. I don't think I'd stay again if possible

The room was lovely, however the kitchen stove could have used a bit better cleaning. Also the bathroom fan did not work, and the heating vent in the bedroom was incredibly loud. The balcony was nice, though it is winter so it wasnt really useful unfortunately. Overall it was pleasurable however, and nothing about the experience would stop me from coming again.

The location was excellent! Close enough to everything we needed that we were able to park our car and walk to everything we wanted to see/do. Rooms were bigger than expected and was nice that each bed was in it's own separate room. Pillows are a little to be desired but the service is great!

A complete waste of money and time. They don't clean the rooms daily and the hallways stink. If you want new towels you must call reception but here's the kicker. The phone in the rooms don't work we waited 2 days to get it fixed it never happened. Also the hair dryer doesn't work we also asked for it to be checked out but that also never happened. After the second day out of a 4 nights stay planned,we decided to leave early and found another hotel. I would not recommend this to anyone you're better off getting a hostel it would be 100X more value for your money than this hotel.
