Cocktail bar

👍👍 Such a cute concept and vibes! It’s actually right inside Peter Devine’s. Came here for the drinks, but was surprised by the food selection and portions. Highly recommend the charcuterie board and raspberry beret! People often mention drinks, great, staff, decor, amazing, spot, good, delicious, cocktails, super,

I had a great time at Nans - I came by myself and got the pierogis which was definitely meant to be shared. They tasted delicious and I got two raspberry berets which were also delicious. The decor of the place is very vintage and cute with lots of seating. I went on a regular weekday night and it wasn’t too crowded so it was the perfect place for me to grab a drink after a bad day.

I have been to Nan’s Parlour probably 3 times in the last month. The cocktail lounge is decorated beautifully with authentic vintage decor, similar to what you would find in your super cool grandma’s living room. Every seat in the house is unique and comfortable. My favourite seat in the house is up at the bar and watching their bartender (Ihab) make drinks.

Oh how I love the vibes at this spot. Excellent decor and the DJ was playing some excellent disco funk music Friday night. They have board games, great drink selections and it’s just a perfect spot to come with a group of friends for a good time. Thank you to the staff for the kind service! Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Definitely a very well rounded place. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I was walking down Clarence with my queen when the facade of this spot caught our 👁. We had just finished a family dinner and were looking for a 🍸 and stopped to look at the menu, the hostess had perfect timing and what a perfect choice for a hostess. From when we were greeted to when we were handed over to our server, she was informative and amazing! Our server was sooo on point and even tho i was not hungry, I ordered a plate of lamb dumplings that didn't even make the photo shoot lol, food was amazing to say the least. The sheik atmosphere was so comforting and made us want to chill there. 11/10 for us 🎯!!! If you are visiting Ottawa...go. if you are from Ottawa and and haven't gone yet...go. Check the 📸 's

Loved this spot! So cozy! The decor was super cute, food was amazing and drinks were surprisingly good! There’s board games if you come with a group. It’s right beside heart and crown in the market so great location. Was only disappointed that the bathroom decor doesn’t match the vibe of the restaurant but maybe that will be addressed in the future!

Overall a good experience! Limited menu but still great options. We came with no reservation on a Friday evening and were able to get a spot for about 2 hours which was great for us! Food and drinks were good, as was the service (staff was funny and great to talk to!). Fantastic atmosphere as well! Would recommend.

    - Excellent experience - Blueberry Hill was delicious and phenomenal. Way of the Dragon was good but perhaps not my cup of tea as much - Service was relatively quick - Love the ambience/theme - which even goes down to the business cards (“Nanager,” not Manager)

This is a themed bar in the market. It gives pink Victorian energy. The drinks were small, but tasted pretty good! I liked the various seating choices from couches, to table and chairs. The service was a bit slow and the waiter was no as attentive as you would expect for being a group of 10.

Wow wow wow!!!! The decor , the seating , the drinks and the dumplings were all amazing !! The trivia was so fun and the staff was GREAT. Only suggestion is to add more selection to the menu (not picky eater friendly). Regardless I can’t wait come to back !

Nan's Parlour is a cute cocktail bar with decor that recreates the nostalgic ambiance of Grandma's house. I had a delicious cocktail called Blueberry Hill with lavender (also reminiscent of grandma's). The vintage games add an extra layer of fun, while the friendly staff and attention to detail make it a memorable spot to visit.

Loved the vibe in here! I really enjoyed the boozed up ice tea (I had the lavender lemonade tea with vodka). Only complaint is that it was dusty and had my allergies acting up (but I guess that comes with the decor).

I had a birthday celebration with a dozen guests on Sunday. The staff was amazing. We were seated at the couches for drinks, and allowed everyone to move to tables when the food arrived. They even allowed me to bring birthday cake. Everyone was happy with their food and drinks. The virgin Nan's Secret Garden had deep complex flavours. It was perfect to sip slowly.

Nan’s Parlour really outdid it with their interior! The cutest furniture and the walls were decorated to match their “granny chic” vibes. An absolutely cute spot for pics and a go to for drinks. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the mood lighting. We ordered the perogies, halloumi fries and the tuna tartare. For drinks we got the “Cheek Pincher” and “Je Suis Un Ananas” as well as two mocktails. They don’t have mocktails on the menu but you can ask your waiter or waitress to have the bartender make you one. Everything was good and delicious! Just a heads up, there was also no desserts at the time we went (Jan 2023) even though they had it on the online menu.

We stumbled onto this place as a group of six on a Friday night, and they got us a great seat in the corner window. We had a cozy couch and some amazing cocktails, including some special requests from some of our party. Absolutely great vibe and tasty cocktails.

Follow my food blog on Instagram for restaurant reviews: @mimi.munches! 💖 . Want to check out a new spot that's not only super cozy, but also has delicious and beautiful drinks, and good nibbles to match? . I recommend checking out Nan's Parlour in the Byward Market! They're right beside the Heart and Crown, and the interiors are super cozy (think dimly lit, with lots of antique furniture and memorabilia. It would be a great place to hang out and catch up with friends, and also a great date spot! . The drinks in these photos were the "Lavender Sour" ($17), and the Raspberry Beret ($13). Both were pretty to look at, and tasted great. . For food, my favourite was definitely the charcuterie board ($25), with genoa salami, smoked duck, dubliner cheddar, brie, and rosemary crostinis - so good to nibble on with drinks! . Also shown in these photos are the pierogies ($18) - so good with cremini mushrooms, smoked bacon, pickled onions, and dijon cheddar cream! . If you enjoy smoked meats, I also recommend their smoked duck crostinis ($18) - these had pineapple salsa, sriracha aioli, and cherry compote!

Had a great time at Nan's! The staff are super friendly, loved the atmosphere, and food was delicious. Couldn't have any alcohol and the bartender offered to make us some mocktails. Tasted amazing!

Nan's is honestly without a doubt the coolest, loveliest bar/restaurant I've ever been to. The decor and atmosphere is amazing and adorable, it feels like you just walked into a sweet old lady's house to hang out. There's so many cool vintage stuff to look at. The house cocktails were wonderful and they all had such great names! The bar staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. It was very quiet when we went on a Sunday evening, more people need to try this place it's worth it! (Also my husband accidentally left his jacket at the barstool and one of the staff literally went after us and found us even though we had been walking around in the busy market, which was so kind!!) I wish we lived in Ottawa, it would definitely be a favourite hang out spot!
