This Tim Hortons has to be the worst I have ever been to. The one at the General hospital is 1000 times better. First of all there have been no visible menus for well over 3 months. They are always short on staff making for long wait times. When you order a sandwich and it takes up your whole break just to get it. There are no freshly cracked eggs. Only 1 staff on nights. Selections are very few. Myself and others have only had bad experiences. This is a professional business I expect bare minimum customer service especially run in a Ottawa hospital that has very important core values.

I have been going to the tim hortons for almost an year now and recently the night staff Ricardo and Simran has really up the standards, providing excellent service and quick beverages and food. I have seen Ricardo working in his break time, cleaning and arranging stuff for the re-opening in the next hour and couldn’t stop myself to leave at least leave a 5 star review so that the work done by so hardworking people doesn’t get unseen. Thank you for reading, hope it helped.

Slowest Tim Hortons I’ve every been to! Waited 30 minutes for them to scoop a chicken noodle soup with 3 people working. The soup wasn’t even hot when I finally got it. For context I came in the evening it was only busy because orders were piling up due to the slow service. The guy tasked with pouring coffee decided it would be a good time to sweep instead of helping the lady who had all the orders to fill.

Anytime breakfast but not after 11:00pm... Also doesn't sell anything but coffee? But why would you have the signs say otherwise...? The guy working was nice but the signs are very inaccurate and just putting out false information 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ good job 👏

Amazing Opportunity, come see live Grinch usually work in the night shifts at this location, she’ll roll her eyes and curse at you taking orders, come have this amazing Grinch experience. If you want to see someone hates her life and job, please do visit. Highly recommended

Coffee and other specialty drinks were great. But I have to say the specialty donuts were the pits. Too sweet and bland.

I am rating this for what it is. You can't expect much out of a Cafe that has you by the balls due to the fact you can't get coffee anywhere else on the campus after 3pm. Limited products and the longest wait Tim Hortons has to offer. If I had the choice not to go back I wouldn't. The food management company that runs that location is an absolute joke.

They were out of pretty much everything...no fritters no chili...luckily they had french vanilla in stock...this is in the hospital where they are the only option once the cafeteria closes...management should be better stocked and staff should be prepping it better.

I’ve been at the hospital for a week and had no choice but to go to this location. If you want to see what employee exploitation is, you need to visit this place overnight. They have 1 employee taking care of everything, his name is Ricardo and he’s an absolute legend. Not once have I heard him complain about the company or management, he simply acknowledges it’s hard but he has no choice. He serves everyone with a great attitude and multiple customers have voiced how hard working he is and how ridiculous management is for expecting him to work alone all night… I hope they do something before they lose such an invaluable employee

Ricardo, dude, working the store on the night of October 27, going above and beyond. Keeping patients, doctors, nurses and visiting families fueled … all by yourself. Incredible. Not an easy job but important! You are appreciated.

Friendly service at the Civic location were helpful in trying to determine if their salad has gluten in it. The cilantro salad was delicious. Unfortunately, they weren't able to verify whether the salad contained gluten. My only criticism is that they should make at least one menu item without wheat (and know what it is).

Can you guys hire faster people? 30 min waiting to order. The lady literally spent 10 min changing a garbage bag while the line got bigger and bigger. They seem to not care at all. Literally no one to take an order and it’s 8:30 pm

SLOW! I’m perfectly okay with waiting but come on??? 15 minutes for a bagel! I would’ve understood if it was a couple drinks or bakery items but it was ONE bagel.

I have a Tim's coffee or tea almost every day, and sometimes twice. I used to go to St@rb#cks but the high prices for pre-made food was not doing it for me.

EXTREMELY slow service. There were 6 people ahead of me in line and the wait was easily 30 minutes if not more. Once I got to the counter, I was met by a rude cashier who seemed overwhelmed (alone taking payment and making food) and chose to take it out on the customer.

Worst Tim Hortons I’ve ever been too. The only reason I go here is because I work at the hospital and have no other option. Poorly staffed, super slow and always turn off the mobile orders but tell you it’s out of their control. I’ve waited in line for 40 minutes in line without getting anything because I’ve already wasted my entire break. I’ve complained so many times to them but nothing changes… I legit hate giving them my money…

IF you are in hospital setting. Especially FOR THOSE in wheelchair, you SHOULD at least NOT make them wheel themselves to the OTHER end to get what they ordered. So inhumane!! AND I don't even know the poor old man, he also had a service dog that was huge, so to expect them both to move over to the CROWDED LINE is so unprofessional. The manager isn't very nice to anybody. She has very little patience, so it doesn't make sense why this establishment is there to begin with. THEY ARE IN THE HOSPITAL. LEARN TO BE PATIENT AND ACCOMMODATE THOSE IN WHEELCHAIRS!!

Waited in line for 5 minutes only to be told that wasn't the line. Was then sent to the end of another line where we waited another 5 min. We were not even told where to stand to wait for our coffee.

They don’t have frozen drinks as machine is broken, they also don’t have cold brew. No food available in the evening salty or sweet. Worst Tim Hortons I’ve ever experienced which is tragic as this is at a hospital location this where people need food and drink the most.

I ordered 2 roast beef craveables. The new employee making my sandwiches reheated the roast beef 3 times (15s,56s,50s) before starting my sandwiches. While trying to put the sauce on my sandwiches he noticed there wasn't much left so he took to off the lid and tried getting it on the sandwich. Instead it landed on the produce inside the counter, on the counter and a little on the bread. I stood there wondering what he was doing. He continued by adding the top of the sandwiches. I stopped him by saying there were ingredients missing (cheese and crispy onions). He got abrupt with me telling me that there was no cheese that went on that sandwich. He then abruptly added the crispy onions on my sandwiches. I again asked him to add the cheese. He was upset and told me no cheese went on the craveables. I pointed out that even on the screen it showed the cheese. He raised his voice at me again while throwing his hands up in the air saying that he knew how to do his job and for me to mind my business. Other clients then advocated for me saying that I should be getting what I paid for and especially for the time he's been making me wait. He turned his back on us threw my sandwiches in the bag and put it on the counter. I was told that I should put in a complaint by another client and I said I would be. He told me to wait for the manager angrily! I waste my whole break (30 mins) for horrible customer service & food that I paid for made wrong. I will NEVER go there again! I will make sure to tell my colleagues my experience as well!!

Worst Tim Hortons in Ottawa/Hospital. Staff leave at 2am and don't come back until 3:30am, leaving all the staff, patients and visitors waiting in line. Poor customer service deserves less than 1 star.

Not good. On the menu they have these list of strong coffee like espresso but when you ask for one they say machine is broken not once or twice but every time. Why don’t you just take them off the menu?

Not complaining about wait time as it's a small Tim's.. my only real complaint is the fact that today in the morning around 910 Am I purchased 2 blueberry muffins and one had odd metal fragments on it.. I spit out most of it but not sure if I consumed it or not... that is dangerous. I will report it.

Slowest Timmies ever! And, I don’t think they care. Waited over 20 minutes in a line with only 6 people in front of me.

UPDATE: officially closed on nights. Only open at 6am-10pm. This is no longer 24/7, and they are closed 90% of the time I show up anyways

There was a time when I thought it was nice hospitals had Tim Hortons. Then Timmies progressively got worse enough to call it hospital food covered in sugar. Cardboard donuts, sandwiches made with plastic cheese and burnt coffee sums up Timmies these days.

I've never had to write a complaint before but today was a different story. Whoever was working tonight was absolutely miserable, rude and unprofessional not only to me but other customers. I've worked in food service for years and I completely understand that there are some days where it sucks. But this was entirely unacceptable. Slamming things down on the counter, cutting people off mid sentence not offering an alternative choice and having a horrible attitude is not customer service. It is a hospital. People are here more often than not for a negative reason and are under enough stress as it is. I'm not expecting singing and dancing like it's willy wonkas chocolate factory but at least be respectful and dignified.

Horrible experience each time. Very very rude staff, horrible food. When your in the hospital it’s already normally not a good experience when you just want to get food you don’t need rude staff.
