Receptionist
stood
and
watched
my
grandmother
faint
in
front
of
her
and
didn't
help
or
even
offer
to
help
because
she
was
"off
the
clock"
(it
was
4:10pm)
Been
to
this
"Medical
Centre"
multiple
times
for
one
of
my
family
members,
EXTREMELY
rude
and
VERY
unprofessional
every
time
I
have
visited.
The
receptionists
are
always
rude,
loud,
sloppy
and
shamelessly
careless.
On
my
most
recent
visit,
as
my
grandmother
was
walking
out
the
waiting
room
politely
asked
one
of
the
receptionists
to
help
her
walk
as
she
felt
she
was
about
to
faint.
The
receptionist
rudely
responded
with
"I
am
off
the
clock"
and
stood
there
watching
as
my
grandmother
fainted.
I
asked
the
receptionist
to
get
my
grandmother
water
as
my
hands
were
tied
holding
my
grandmother's
head
and
body.
The
receptionist
simply
remained
standing
there
saying
"I
am
off
the
clock"
I
had
to
repeatedly
ask
for
water.
She
eventually
brought
over
some
water
and
I
said
thank
you.
Although
I
wanted
to
speak
with
the
Doctor
about
this
sickening
and
unprofessional
behaviour
I
decided
to
walk
my
grandmother
home
and
to
not
cause
a
scene
for
the
sake
of
my
grandmother's
health.
As
I
am
walking
out
of
the
clinic
she
then
went
to
the
Doctor
and
loudly
expressed
to
him
"Oh
my
god
that
patient
was
so
rude
I
wanted
to
slap
her"
in
a
very
loud
voice
(very
careless
and
low
thing
to
do)
-
all
of
which
I
do
have
clear
evidence
of
The
other
receptionist
(who
was
sitting
at
the
front
desk)
saw
that
I
heard
this
conversation
and
laughed
in
my
face.
At
this
point,
I
decided
to
turn
around
and
confront
her.
Once
confronted
she
had
nothing
to
say
and
simply
stood
there
shrugging
her
shoulders.
This
behaviour
is
pretty
ironic
seeing
as
there
are
multiple
signs
around
the
clinic
stating
that
they
have
zero
tolerance
for
abuse
or
rude
language
meanwhile
they
are
speaking
this
way
seamlessly
in
front
of
patients.
The
medical
centre
has
sent
out
a
letter
to
my
grandmother
expressing
that
she
is
no
longer
welcome
in
to
the
clinic
because
apparently
asking
for
water
for
someone
who
has
just
fainted
is
considered
"rude"
and
uncalled
for.
In
my
opinion
if
you
are
unhappy
at
your
workplace,
find
a
new
job.
As
a
receptionist,
you
are
required
to
present
quality
customer
service
and
customer
service
requires
the
minimum
trait
of
human
decency.
I
personally
don't
believe
these
receptionist
are
fit
for
customer
service
jobs
-
I
don't
believe
they
are
even
fit
to
be
a
grocery
store
cashier
with
the
way
they
carry
themselves.
Not
quite
comforting
to
know
that
a
receptionist
in
a
medical
centre
would
nag
and
complain
like
a
toddler
when
asked
for
something
as
simple
as
water
for
an
elderly
patient
who
has
just
fainted
in
front
of
her
eyes.
This
is
basic
human
decency
and
does
not
require
for
one
to
be
"on
the
clock"
or
even
working
to
have
an
instant
reflex
to
help
someone
especially
an
elderly
who
is
fainting
in
front
of
your
eyes.
Right
after
experiencing
this
(and
obviously
prior
to
the
letter)
we
have
decided
to
never
go
back
to
this
location
ever
again
and
will
continue
to
spread
this
information
to
anyone
looking
for
a
clinic
to
visit.
The
receptionists
are
the
face
of
the
clinic
and
whoever
has
hired
these
receptionists
clearly
do
not
have
good
intention/priority
for
his
or
her
practice.
