Reception is terrible and incompetent. Unorganized, no follow through, and dishonest. I have had to deal with this ongoing issue since my family doctor has been working out of this clinic. It's like pulling teeth trying to refill a simple prescription; I am currently in a situation where I've been out of my medication (which I take daily and have for years) for almost 2 weeks, and have had to call almost every day to try and resolve it. Every time I call, I speak to a different receptionist, and I have to explain everything from scratch as they never know what's going on, even though the previous receptionist I spoke to said she'd "make a note of it". I am told I'll receive a call back by them, I never do. After almost a week of calling every day and fighting hard to keep my patience and understanding, I was finally told they faxed my prescription to my pharmacy, and when I went to pick it up, my pharmacy told me they never received it. This is not an isolated incident; I have frequently had this type of experience with them since the start. I am at my wits end with this... it's blatant disrespect and gross negligence. We should not have to fight so hard to have our health be taken seriously and to be treated with basic human courtesy. If I could leave a review with 0 stars, I would.

Worst clinic I have ever had to deal with!! Poor communication, language barriers, difficulty making an appointment, no empathy or compassion towards patients. No wonder they have “zero tolerance” signage displayed because these receptionists and physicians have 0 sense of managing their clients properly and everything is disorganized so it causes patients to get very upset with them. It is very frustrating!!! They will quickly take your money but when it comes to refunding it, they take their sweet time. If it wasn’t challenging to find a Family Doctor in Ontario, I would have definitely left but unfortunately I am stuck using this awful clinic.

I have been a patient of this clinic (specifically Dr. Osman’s patient) for a few months now and have been very happy with both the reception staff and my doctor. Yes, sometimes the phone lines are busy but it is a busy clinic and I find they always return my call and/or email quickly. I haven’t had an issue getting appointments in a timely manner either. Dr. Osman is amazing! So patient, thorough, and kind. He never rushes me or brushes off my concerns. Very down to earth. I originally was looking for a female doctor, but am actually glad I ended up with him instead. I never feel uncomfortable talking to him about female issues and there is a female nurse who completes the Pap smears for him :) highly recommend!

Went for a meet and greet with Dr. Bada as I was told she is taking new patients. Very cool reception right from the start. She was extremely abrupt and rude during the meeting. I left feeling very upset with how I was treated. I can understand why they are taking new patients if this is their normal behavior. I will not be returning.

This clinic and doctor should be reported to the College of physicians. As a “new” patient my two experiences were: for rude receptionist to make tele appointment and the doctor never called; calling to book another to have same rude receptionist hang up. Quick to get you as patient (for OHIP group money) yet you can’t see or talk to doctor and abuse from the only receptionist/medical assistant. Do you want this kind of health care? Run. Run. It’s better to go to emergency than go here.

I am pregnant and I have pain. My doctor told me that if I had these symptoms, I need to call her to have an urgent appointment. Well, I call this clinic the receptionist tells me that there is no time to see her until end of august? I try to explain and insist, first they don't receive the call , called Atleast 10 times , nobody receives the call and when she picks she is extremely blunt and hangs up on the phone. My doctor is excellent but this clinic service is terrible. Posting from an unknown id because i don't want to loose my doctor.

I've had a good experience so far. I've met Dr Osman in person. The admin staff were very professional and friendly in dealing with my arrival, and Dr Osman himself is a good listener who is patient focused. The office was nice & clean. Knowing I was waiting for results, the clinic went out of their way to reach me, which I really appreciated!

Dr Veera is absolutely clueless. Not interested in the patients, never available and generally bad advice and service. Not professional and super dangerous to have as a doctor. I had to hunt him down for my results and he never got back to us after 3 cancelled appointments. I hope his license gets revoked. Please avoid him at all costs. The other doctors and our previous doctor Hussein were fantastic. I hope he comes back instead of this embarrassment of a “doctor”.

My experience so far, is that the doctors are lovely and the reception/ front desk is absolutely horrible. Impossible to get through to someone and when you do they are rude, unhelpful, cold and make for a really unpleasant experience. It's a shame because Dr. Kotb has been nothing but kind and responsive (when I can actually get past the dreaded reception) and I've been able to schedule phone appointments within very reasonable times so far.

This is the worst clinic , ****Edit review : I wrote this review just to open up about my honest opinion but the doctor called me hours after to let me know that he won’t be taking me again and when I asked him if I can get another doctor he told me that no one is available and please find another clinic we will be waiving fees for you 🙂. SO they chased me from their clinic because of my opinion … this was their solution not to improve their service and find me another doctor nooooo🙂**** I honestly wish that the owner if this clinic or manager read all those comment and act in them . I used to have an amazing doctor but she left and from all sudden they give me another one who is cold person who doesn’t show any interested and who always offer ONLY phone appointments and even for that it is hard to get an urgent appointment. He gave me a medicine for my migraine that can cause glaucoma although he knows soooo well that I have a history with glaucoma 🙄 I asked them to change him but they refused. Now lets talk about the WORST RECEPTION IN ALL OVER THE WORLD , honestly they deserve an award for that . They never never never never pick up the phone , I always call at least 10 times if it is not 20 times and no answer then I have to write a very very long email so the manager can call me back for an appointment. Without forgetting that they don’t have any knowledge about what going on in their clinic because when I ask the receptionist if my new doctor speaks french she told me NO but in reality he does speak little french which is good for me . I

I have to say that I never had any issues getting an appointment with Dr. Bada. She is always listening and understanding. I am happy having her as my physician. Her receptionist is polite and helpful. Thank you for your service.

Surprised by some negative reviews which seem trivial and unfounded. Me and my 3 children and their families' experience with the doctors and staff has been nothing but amazing ... very competent and friendly doctors, cordial staff giving prompt response and attention to emails/calls communicating very well which has never been our experience with our previous doctors in Ottawa. They offer after-hours clinic which is great to get immediate help and appointments are done efficiently and quickly. I would highly recommend this clinic for their great service altho there's a long waitlist to reckon with ... because they're just great! Love you guys and hope you expand and get more doctors to help our communities. All the best!! Lani of Ottawa. My family and I are patients of Dr. Mirdavoudi and have only great reviews of the clinic and his service. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mirdavoudi listens attentively and never tries to rush you out of his office. Top Notch Service and Care!

I Dont know what this country coming to! The Receptionists treat you like you walking into a slaughterhouse... But why they mad all the time thou. You Dont like you job quit. Some one from health Ministry MUST go and check up on that place!!!!!!

Dr Osman listens and cares. I find him very supportive. The staff at the clinic is courteous, returns calls in a timely manner, is helpful and efficient. Our family is very happy with the Gloucester health Center.

Being patients of this clinic for half a year, our family is very satisfied with everything here. Special shout out to Dr. Osman, very kind and professional. And thanks to all the receptionist, everytime I leave a voice message, always get a call back within 1 day. Thanks everyone from Glouceter family health centre.

My family and I are Dr. Naz’s patients since I would say a year and so and she has been all I wanted in a GP. Always on time, takes the time to talk about everything, professional and knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Veera, Dr. Osman and Dr. Khotb for my children in their emergency clinic on Saturday and we were never disappointed. Good practice nice young doctors. I hope they will take my newborn as well in a couple of months. Thank you.

Always have the great experience! My family doctor is great and focuses on preventive care, and managing lifestyle. The staff is very friendly as well.

If I could give no stars I would. These doctors do not care about their patients. I lost my doctor due to her retiring and was put on the waitlist. This clinic reached out and I was assigned Dr. Naz. During our initial intake appointment she was very condescending but I chose to ignore it because I needed a family doctor. When I got an ear infection I called to get in to see the doctor and the rude receptionist told me she couldn’t see me for another month. So I set up at a walk in clinic to get antibiotics. After my prescription was up I was still experiencing symptoms so I called the office again and she said that if I called back in 2 days they could try to get me on the after hours schedule. I ended up going back to a walk in. Fast forward a month and I went through a mental crisis. I called and had to wait another 2 weeks to be seen. Over those 2 weeks I became severely depressed. When I finally got to the appointment I explained that I was calling because of severe anxiety and depression and told her everything that was going on in my life. She cut me off to tell me that she wasn’t sure if she wanted me as a patient because she got charged for me going to the clinic about my ear infection. She was heartless and had zero compassion for what I was going through. I didn’t book an appointment to get scolded like a child. I booked the appointment to take care of my mental health which became even worse after this appointment. I removed myself from her roster. I can’t even believe this clinic is still open after all of these negative reviews.

Can't give zero stars. Doctor treated me like a drug-seeking patient when I wanted non-benzo, low dose medication for insomnia. Medical records are clear on abnormal sleep and sleep study referrals. Receptionists are rude and condescending about prescriptions. I'm no longer a patient here and would caution anyone looking for a doctor to look elsewhere. Great location if you want staff on vacation more often than at work.

My wife and I have been searching for a family physician for over 2 years after our lifetime Doctor retired. Being Senior's we were fortunate to locate Dr. Ozman at Gloucester Family Medical Clinic. Dr. Ozman's sincere, compassionate care after losing our previous Family Doctor of 30 years has made our transition comfortable and uncomplicated The professional and courteous staff were quite helpful.
