Went for the first time today & WOW, It was so much fun! The staff were so nice, knowledgeable & made sure everyone was safe by explaining everything in detail. They coach before you start to show you how to properly throw - I had no idea what I was doing at first, but I got some throws in and actually scored a few points! We will deff be coming back! Thank you for the amazing time! ❤️

My wife and I came here as part of our mini-honeymoon, and I have to say we were in excellent hands the second we stepped foot in BATL. Piers (Tootsie Roll) gave us a great rundown of their beers and did such an amazing job going over the rules and giving us tips to improve our throws. Both Piers and Jackie (lotus) were so friendly and really made sure we had a blast! They gave us a tour and showed us some trick shots. Overall an amazing time! I would recommend them to any novice or experienced thrower. We’ll be looking forward to future visits with friends.

So much fun learning to axe throw in very safe and protocol-approved conditions. Thank so much to Nate for training us and to Ashley for guiding the process 😊 We will definitely be back for more laughs ❤️

Overall it was a real fun experience! I've never done this before, I really am not a sporty person, and we were only 3 people but I had more fun than I thought I would have. The instructor was very nice and very informative. I loved having an instructor, because we definitely needed it lol. I wanna come back and throw more axes!

What an absolute blast me and my group had this evening at BATL Axe Throwing. Great location near St Laurent Boulevard, plenty of parking space and this place is Huge. We had great coaches taking care of us, Shaun thank you for your help and guidance. Safety is key to having a great experience. In house bar is great touch, fully licenced on mix drinks and a great selection of beers. Water is served free. We where able to order food for my group and BATL helped us with some tables. Would definitely recommend everyone to try out BATL.

We went for a Bachelor party where half of the attendees cancelled, but Jen, the owner, was fantastic and took care of us. Her coaching on form and technique were invaluable, and helped us improve a lot. She checked in on us every once in a while, which really helped us feel like our business was valued. Finally, even though she had just told us she had an errand to run, we asked her to demonstrate what 7 years of practice can do. Her skill blew our minds, and while we had thrown over 50 times collectively aiming to hit a clutch, she hit it easily! We had a great time, and would definitely recommend a visit if you're planning an event. It's definitely well worth it. Thanks BATL Axe throwing, and thanks Jen!

It was my first time here with my husband and I loved it!!! Great atmosphere, a little bit of adrenaline ( well for myself since I’m scared of blades), and the little games they propose are super fun! Lucas, our coach, was friendly and super helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves a little challenge. :)

We just had a client event at BATL Axe over the weekend, and it was a huge success! If you're looking for a place to hold a team bonding, or client appreciation event that is engaging and gets people interacting in new ways this is the spot. Seth, Kristin, Lucas, Dee, Perry, and Monique were our incredible coaches for the evening!

BATL has been the venue for my company's annual fundraiser two years in a row and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The space is perfect for our guests to enjoy drinks and chat, and the axe throwing is super fun and easier than we thought. I would definitely recommend BATL to anyone looking to have fun with a group, be it friends hanging out on a Friday night or a corporate event.

Took my dad for a milestone birthday. We did the tournament package. Kristen and Marco ran our tournament and they were both great. It was all our first time and they gave us pointers, it was super organized and they were very friendly. The group had a blast. The rest of the staff were great too. We ordered in pizzas and they set us up with everything we needed. Definitely a great group outing, highly recommended.

Shoutout to Straun who made the experience welcoming and friendly for newcomers! Arrived a random Thursday just as they opened for walk-ins. No one else was there, lots of space, but our coach helped us through the quick and painless process to get started. He taught us the two methods to throw, made us feel like pros, and checked in when we looked like we were struggling. We had a blast and thought to ourselves it would be a great place to have a group of friends to play. They had a list of games that included axe throwing (like modified tic tac toe) and a full bar to have a brewski while you watch your friends throw. Straun even brought out the hidden GIANT axe to throw which made the night memorable. 10/10.

What an absolutely amazing time! We had a corporate client appreciation event here an our clients are still talking about it. Seth, Kristin, Lucas, Dee, Perry, & Monique did a fantastic job of ensuring all our guests were well taken care of. And the drama of the final round with caliper measurements...*French Kiss*

Went for a date night with my husband. Our coach was great! It's not as easy as it seems but I loved it once I got the hang of it! Will definitely be back. Something I loved about BATL as opposed to other locations, I was able to book a reservation on a Sunday evening for 2. Other places don't let you do this. Thanks for a great time! We will definitely be back and want to bring friends along next time!

Our group had lots of fun despite being first-time axe throwers. Our coach was patient and very helpful so 8 out of 9 of us managed to get the hang of it. It's 80% technique, only 20% strength. Good tunes playing helped! The place is surprisingly big and well equipped. We'll no doubt be back for more!

First time throwing axes and first time there too - obviously... Went there with some friends, we had a blast. It was fun, very fun. One hour of axe throwing for ~$30/person. This is reasonable in my opinion. When you get there, you have to agree and sign some stuff online. Then you get a quick training on how to throw axes and of course safety. You can order drinks and food. Food is not prepared on site so it will take around 1 hour to be served. But prices are okay too. Staff was very friendly. We had a laugh with them, chatted, asked for "demos", advice, etc. Lovely. For the "Action", you can choose from multiple games: -regular thing like aim at bullseye for 5 points, 3 pts for second circle, 1 pt third circle and 7 pts if you get the clutch on the top right/top left. -around the world wherenyou need to aim at the left side, then middle, then right, then the clutches. -tic tac toe. Etc. We really enjoyed it. 100000% recommend.

Seth was our coach. He is awesome and gave great instructions. I actually threw a clutch, tee hee!!! We arrived super early and we're allowed in to sit down while the staff set did their set up. All the staff here are friendly, kind and very welcoming. I will definitely be back again. Thanks a mill!!

1st time axe throwing. I would return. However, we were visiting from Southern Ontario, and look forward to Hamilton or Niagara providing the same excellent service. Went with a group of colleagues for a holiday event during standard business hours. The instruction provided by theb'trainers' was clear and had everyone sticking axes in the target in no time. They assisted those having difficulty so everyone would experience a level of success. The bar staff was pleasant, and also effective. :-) We scheduled some food for delivery during our event. We had a great time. Would do this in a second with a smaller group of friends for a fun night out.

We went impromptu axe throwing on a Friday. The staff were really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely go again. A little sore though 😅

My husband and I absolutely loved this place! We went for a work event of mine and we would both highly recommend it! Whether you're competitive or just want to have fun, this is the place for you. Whether you're with a small group or a large group; this is something that will be discussed with glee for a while! The coaches were friendly and very helpful in giving corrections to up your game. We're thinking that another trip soon just the 2 of us might already be in the works ;)
