Awesome venue bringing in good music every weekend

Nice laid back vibe. Few video games and pin ball in the corner for the kids. Cool place to grab a quick bite, and maybe find something nice for the home.

The market is a great community space. It's got great food from local vendors, a wonderful bar, and all kinds of entertainment. Perfect place to grab a glass of wine/beer on a Friday night. Also, an excellent private/public event location. We hosted a Southeast Iowa Symphony social event and it was an excellent experience. Their staff is very accommodating, the atmosphere is perfect, and the price is unbeatable for the quality. 10/10

Good food fun atmosphere

Fun place to hang out, browse, all different types of food vendors. Fell in love with the brick oven pizza. Priced right. Classes are fun and creative! Ingenious set up. Live bands, full bar down stairs. Comedy nights, exercise classes, art classes. It has everything all wrapped up in one.

Adorable public market with myriad crafts sold by local small businesses. Also a good selection of food vendors. All indoors.

The atmosphere of the whole place is nice, with several food options and it's family friendly. The comedy club is more of an adult atmosphere, but for a mere $5 cover charge, is an incredible value. The comedians are great entertainment and makes an ideal venue for friends to gather together.

Market in Main is a great place to visit for a business lunch, family night out, or for a date night. With a wonderful variety of events from comedy nights to, my personal favorite, trivia nights, to Latin dance nights! The upstairs has several food options available like burritos, brick oven pizza and Tai. The staff are just amazing and really helpful. They rent this space out for events like business gatherings, weddings and so on. The bar always has drink specials and a good assortment of draft beer and a large array of domestic and import beers. Trust me, the market on main has something fun that will interest you! Do yourself a favor and go, you'll have fun and if you don't, it's your item fault!

Great place to Shop and eat

Great option for local foods, up and coming small businesses and misc events. Doing their part to incubate new local business and revitalizing our downtown Ottumwa.

The market on main is a wonderful place for the community, the establishment is owned by the legacy foundation and they have been the driving force behind revitalizing the Ottumwa area. I was pleased to see that there are still so many vendors involved with the location and the community. I miss the staff that I worked with there and wish them all a blessed holiday season and continual positive vibes all year round.
