Haven't ate here in a couple months. Thought I'd grab a quick bite. Yes, this was during lunch time rush but that really isn't an excuse. This is a medium fry, exactly as I pulled it out of the bag. Not only is it ~1/4 full but they were stiff and cold.... during lunch rush(I live a block away, bag was closed the whole time) and whoever took my order needs to learn to let people order instead of cutting them off every other word.. Now the girl who brought my food out was a sweetheart, very nice. Not sure if this was just a one time fluke or if this is what Sonic has just turned into. Just be aware.. food might be great or food might be not so great.

If you don't use Sonic app your paying way to much for a large drink. The last Three times my order has been messed up. Frustrating!

The past FIVE times here they have messed up the simplest of orders! Ordered a kids meal just today with a cheeseburger with ketchup only, and got a plain hamburger with pickles and mustard! How hard is it to get a simple cheeseburger with ketchup only! AWFUL service. I love their food but they need to hire some smarter people people. Haven’t seen a single adult working there either. It’s all young teenagers that clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Food was as if it had been microwaved then cooled and microwaved again. 2 staff members acted as if they hated their jobs, not pleasant at all. I love the cherry limeade but probably won't ever go back.

Adding another overall star because I have recently in the last few weeks become pretty fond of Ottumwa Sonic! Have not had a bad experience yet. I think the Ottumwa cooks should come to Centerville and teach the cooks (aside from Big Al) a thing or two.

Great mozzarella bits and a really tasty strawberry milk shake. Kinda pricey but worth it thanks

Ordered corn dogs and tator tots along with 2 drinks. Corn dogs were not what you would expect. They were very small, tasting a bit stale. The tator tots were slightly undercooked, which made them mushy. Out of 50 places to eat lunch we picked the wrong one. Guess we will know the next time.

Lots of good stuff to choose from on the menu, but if there is a line, avoid the place. Edit: I took away 2 stars due to your pathetic generic response to my original 4 star review which was generated by a company you pay to respond to your reviews. Money well spent huh? Good reminder to eat local.

The cheese fries were cold and not fresh. The cheese is not even liquid cheese. It's American slice cheese that they melt over the fries. Lay on top of that, the hot dog was tough like it had been sitting there for hours on a bun that's halfway hard, and the hot dog is lukewarm at best, don't recommend Any thing there the drive thru person wasn't very friendly either

The past 4 times they have messed up our orders. I am tired of not having my order correct and going hungry when we eat here

Love, love, love the slushies! It was nice to see my old boss still there and working the window. He really is great at his job and always has a smile and is always Pleasant to the customers, even when it's me LOL. Sometimes I like to sit and Park and eat and other times I don't have time and the drive-thru is just as convenient. Even more so convenient is the online order ahead because then I just pull up to a stall and put that number in on my app and then my food is brought out.

Food is always good. Service they need to not making the milk shakers until last on hot days. Our milk shakes was not made right , all the power was on the bottom. Had to redo them ourselves. .

Amazing food, they were even car hopping at 5 degrees. Always like to come and eat here.

Drive thru was fairly quick, food was hot, and beverages cold. No complaints here. Employees were polite.

I love the chicken Slinger, and their cold brew coffee. It's not too sweet or bitter. It's in between and I'm loving it.

Sonic has recently updated their facilities and it looks great! One of our favorite stops in town and it has something for everyone of our family of six! The service it prompt and friendly, even when they get swamped. And don't forget 1/2 price drinks all the time when ordered through their app!!!

Lousy my sandwich was wrong they added things I didn't ask for. The hamburger patty was cold.i will never go back there.

Their parking spots for ordering are far to narrow. The food was great for the type of restaurant. They did forget part of our order but it was replaced and they were kind about it.

Buffalo Cicken and Butterfinger shake. Can I say I'm in heaven. Have not been to a sonic in over 10 years! Was delicious, hot, fast! Well done!
