Absolutely delightful family and delicious food. Several caucus volunteers and I are here this past weekend and the food was the best Ethiopian I've had. The owner was cooking and serving all by himself and his young children ventured over to chat with us. Dad told them not to bother us, but we were happy to have their company. The oldest child was very knowledgeable about Ottumwa, politics, and other topics and we had lots of time as the meal was prepared. If I lived in Ottumwa, I'd be eating here weekly. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The Key Wat is amazing. I have traveled 3 hours in the past to get Ethiopian food in Omaha. It nice to have this place so much closer. Still an hour drive but it’s worth it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, it is located in east main, where there isn't a lot of business. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Ethiopian cuisine! The food is delicious and our server was very friendly.

A definite gem in Ottumwa! This was my third time eating Ethiopian and it was delicious! The food was quickly brought to our table, the waiter was super nice, and the food was delicious. Definitely check it out even if you’ve never tried Ethiopian!

Very tasty! Not a fast food dine and dash experience which is good for me but maybe not if your crunched for time. Friendly service, nice music and tasty food. I will definately go back!

Great food! Loved the beef tibs! The waiter (the son) was great to chat with! Great little family history here. Will definitely support them again the next time I come through town!

I am not sure the residents of Ottumwa realize how lucky they are to have this gem of a restaurant. Most cities ten times larger, let alone this size, don't have an Ethiopian restaurant, especially without a large Ethiopian and Eritrean community. The restaurant is also much larger than I expected, with ample, well spaced, seating. The menu is fairly standard for an Ethiopian restaurant, with many meat and vegetarian options, including various combinations. The proof of course is in the pudding, and the food was delicious. This is probably where I'm eating, while in Ottumwa, from now on.

This restaurant is a gem! Especially in Ottumwa! It was so delicious & reasonably priced. We had one of the combination platters and every single thing was perfect. The samosas are huge & so good too. The mango juice was also good. The server was very nice & attentive. I highly recommend this spot.

We had never eaten here before and possibly not at an Ethiopian place ever. It was not busy infact only 4 of us and another couple at a different table. It took a long time for the food and not knowing what we ordered really when the food came it was cold. It had good taste but when it's cold we were disappointed. Very friendly owner but doubt if we go back.
