What the.. ..?? Wow. Talk about disappointing! Good luck trying to find a human being anywhere. The Big Macs were barely warm. The French fries were barely cooked. Sad day. Who would ever think, McDonald's would ever be a disappointment! Oskaloosa, Iowa

The lady up front (we are guessing a supervisor of sorts) was not very friendly.....to customers or other staff. They do drive thru orders before finishing with the dine in customers. We watched drive thru orders come up on the screen after dine in orders, but they served drive thru first. Lots of people waiting too long inside. Cold fries that were not cooked long enough......mushy and greasy. Dirty tables and dirtier drink area. We were there to see quite a few diners finish and leave, but not 1 table was cleaned while we were there.

We went thru drive thru today at 1:15pm. Waited for 10 to 15 minutes to get our food. When arriving at the window with one car in front of us they were so backed up that we couldn't even get our drinks When we did get our food, the fries were cold. Sandwiches weren't very warm. And our flurries weren't mixed very well, the M&M's were on the top and not blended. The service wasn't very good. On Richmond in Ottumwa

Very upset. I waited 33 minutes in drive thru for two kids meal two McDoubles, a frys , one quarter pounder. It's a nightmare over there. I watch at least ten car behind me get there stuff and leave. I was waiting on the kids meals. Why did it take less time to make a quarter pounder then two kids meals?

The young workers were really rude and messed up the oder gave me and my family a attitude I recommend going to the north side McDonald's then the south side McDonald's at least north McDonald's are more nicer and more polite

I order through door dash two happy meals with extra fries got NO fries. Called McDonalds they were rude and let me know this was a door dash problem. So does Door Dash prepare and package the food or does McDonalds.

4 times in a row I have gotten onions on my sons burger. When I order, I specifically tell them he is very allergic to onions, and they still out them on it. I had went inside to have them fix it, and a teenage girl was working the register. I told her my complaint, and she thought it was HILARIOUS that they had put the onions on my sons burger and it could have been a bad situation for him.. this is by far the worse McDonald’s I’ve ever been too.

Last 2 times I've been here they have messed up the order. Both in drive through. First time was wrong order and the second time they missed giving me the other fry for my meal. They're quick to correct it when I come back in but still it's frustrating as a customer to have to come back to fix or pick up correct order.

Went to McDonald's drive through, not during peak hours. The young lady treated us like we were interrupting her time.All we wanted was a double cheese burger, hamburger and two fries. We were asked to pull over park and wait. Wait being an understatement. By the time someone came out with our food the fries were ice cold and one sandwich was only half wrapped.

From a diffrent state sure its a bit of a wait but better then the ones from my old state; everything i ordered is there, enthusiastic, professional workers. 3 star counter for time expectation. Everything else is 4-5 👍

i came in ordered my food to go it was busy so i used the self checkout machine the receipt machine was broken and came out blank so we asked for our number and they gave us frozen drinks before handing our meals and about time they gave us our meals the drinks were melted, fries were cold and the nuggets were cold and tasted raw. we tried to call and nobody answered.

Go to another McDonald's until the owners do something about the managers they have. I waited over a half hour one day just for frappe, and when they finally delivered it, it was melted 💁🏼‍♀️ Every order I've ever had here had an error, and some employees are absolutely detestable.

If I could give this location a zero star I would. We’ve given this specific franchise multiple chances to fix their mistakes and between cold food, half hour wait times, and rude employees, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. Don’t bother emailing them with your complaints because it’s clear the owners and the customer service reps could care less otherwise these issues would have been corrected.

This McDonalds is such a disappointment. Let this be your reminder that their service sucks and their food is awful. Whoever made this needs to be fired honestly, fast food or customer service isn't your thing.

There is an always an issue with this place getting your order correct every single time.

Service is usually slow. However food is always nice and warm when they park you else where.

Waited in the drive through for 20 minutes while other cars ahead left because they were taking so long. Then waited for another 20 minutes to get my food. Service was HORRIBLE. workers were rude and slow.

They are quite slow for a "fast food" restaurant. They have also messed up my family's order nearly every time we go. The lunch crew is slightly better than the dinner crew, but they won't allow a 39 cent adjustment to a sandwich, which baffles me, but I digress.

Person could not fiqure out the order got charged more than what should have. Mr.rib meal get another for a dollar. Person doesnt know how to do it.

Was told to wait at one of the drive thru number signs was brough my food and when I told the person I didn’t have my coke or McFlurry yet he said he would get it then proceeded to give 3 other people there orders and not getting me my stuff and when I asked again about my drinks he acted like it was the first time I was saying it to him very annoying

i hate to be the person who writes a poor review on an employee, but it’s not the first time something like this has happened. me and some friends came in to get food, and they forgot to put some of our fries and cookies in the bag. no big deal. i ask an employee to get them for me, and she rolls her eyes and ignores me. she also messed up another lady’s order and was snappy with her to say the least. almost every time I’ve come here I’ve been met with wrong orders and bad attitudes. 🤷‍♀️

Today was a bit of let down, cold fries and nuggets and we were in line for 15 -20 minutes. How do you have cold food in the middle of a lunch rush?

Came in and there was a manager screaming expletives at an employee. Lots of f words. Very unprofessional. The kid looked like he couldn't have been more than 16. If I were that kid I would quit.

Waited 35 mins in curbside pickup for a ice cream cone! Never got it so I just left. Place is a joke

I’m so disappointed….I’ve been to this location many times. It was always wildly reviewed as the best Mac Donald’s in Ottumwa. However, the past couple times I’ve gone they have messed up my order that required me to go inside not once but at least 2 times for them to make it right. Only to be given a half hearted apology or a sandwich I’m unable to eat. Very displeased.

Not busy, so drive up was quick and easy.Cant beat a Sweet tea on a hot day.

They always mess orders up. Food is rarely warm. They are a bunch of young kids and alot of them are rude. Just seems to be a mess in this restaurant at night.

They seem to mess up your order a lot and many don't apologize. Stood at counter for at least 5 minutes while several employees just stood there talking and laughing even when they seen me waiting to get the chocolate milk they never put in sons happy meal

Got a good meal at a good price. And was served quickly. I'll be back.

Orders are always missing items or made wrong. Today the person working drive thru their attitude took the cake. I drove off because of it after wasting 15 minutes or more in line.

Southside McDonald's is the worst place i have ever been! They got the order wrong and refused to give me my order. It took them 15 minutes to get a two cheese burger meal with no one in line. The children were so snotty so I don't think I will go there again! I know there's a shortage of people that want to work but there is such thing as training and expectations from employees.

I will give 2 stars, only because this store deserves better management! I will be calling later today at shift change. Last week they had an employee (still working today with no voice) that couldn’t be heard over the speaker box on drive thru, so being a manager myself I nice and calmly expressed that she needed to be put in a better spot due to not having a voice. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY, Kirsten? Kristen? Whatever her name is? She is management, (same lady we spoke to last week) informed other employees while I was at the window she wont serve us because we yell at her…. DO YOUR JOB THEN & STOP BAD TALKING CUSTOMERS IN THE DRIVE THRU LANE. Truly thought you were better than that. But to each their own. Someone needs to look into her customer service/the way she treats employees. Thank you.
