This was some really good food. It has a very welcoming mom and pop place feel but is part of Country Kitchen. My husband enjoyed the breakfast buffet as he could eat a ton of bacon. Their muffins were so good and flavorful. Will probably eat here again if we are in the area in the future.

Forgot this place was still there. Glad we found it. Went for breakfast and remembered all the times we had been going there over the years. The place could use a refresh, but the food is as always, good. Missed the breakfast bar though. If you are looking for a sit down meal, this is where you need to go.

The service was fantastic - super friendly and prompt. The food was just fine, although my scrambled eggs were hammered there was plenty to eat for a very reasonable price. The decor is a time-warp to a 90s country kitchen, and kind of run down, but if you want a good meal under $10 you could do a lot worse than here.

Café by Country Kitchen has a lot of breakfast offerings including a buffet. I was here for the Eggs Benedict. I went here so I could try their version of "Bennys" . My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. The staff was polite and helpful. Amber was my waitress, took good care of me and was a delight. With that in mind, I will let you know that have a "top ten" list for Eggs Benedicts. After my visit I rated these "Bennys" as #5 out of 10. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: they use an English muffin that is toasted. They do use a thick piece of ham and they put parsley on top. Most of the Bennys I have tried use a small amount of paprika. The eggs were not poached but "over easy" and perfect. The Hollandaise sauce used was Knorr mix and flavorful. It comes with hash browns, which were very tasty. All of this made the review to 5 stars. #2 -presentation : It looked appetizing. #3-price: $9.89 is a good price for Eggs Benedict. Coffee for under $2.00 a cup. Now with all that said, it is hard to place Cafe in the top 5 because of how little a difference there is between all of them. They earned the #5 spot.

Food is good. My chicken and waffles were not like the image. I got 3 chicken strips on a side plate with ranch. The server also dropped our food which is fine but the server didn’t go back to the kitchen to have food remade. Instead the food was placed back onto the plate by their bare hands and asked us if we were ok with the fact that it was dropped.

Something for everybody's taste. Buffet available as well as a wide menu selection. Only open for breakfast and lunch now so be careful of when you go and check hours. Manager is super friendly as well as the staff.

The crepes are not made on site. Mine were literally cold and not fully defrosted. My coffe mug had coffee remnants in it (coffee film around the sides). I have had good food there but like many have said-hit or miss-usually a miss.

Took my 2 grand kids. we all 3 had a different breakfast and all 3 were excellent. eggs were perfectly cooked. crepe was very good with the strawberries and my grandson and I had eggs pancakes and sausage and we enjoyed it. waitress was excellent

I ordered the crepes which were still raw obviously. The chef doesn't know how to cook them or use a hot enough Pan and the waitress brought my Sausage after the fact. Basically dropped the food, check and ran. Wouldn't recommend.

Used to be a favorite place to go, the food quality is inconsistent now, and never know how it's going to be. Hit or miss these days.

Our waitress was sweet, and didn't mind that we all sat and visited for a while after we were done eating (they weren't busy at the moment). Our food was hot, and definitely had a huge portions, and most importantly it was so good!! Thank you!

Nasty, don't eat the buffet!! The pancakes are the frozen mini ones they sell at Walmart in the frozen section and the eggs are nothing like I've ever had before.. it's as if they were boiled in a bag, not even sure if real eggs!! And the bacon is the stuff you buy pre cooked and you heat in the microwave...waste of money...McDonald's is better!

Loved it! 😍 My family came to Iowa for vacation and one day came here. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT 😍 ❤️ The two children got the same thing and ate almost all of it! We are so glad we came here!

The food was mediocre and cold.i had a cheeseburger and the bun was hard. The fries cold. The person with me had the buffet. The biscuit was hard as a rock, the chicken not cooked through. The best thing was the cleanliness and the raspberry ice tea. Very disappointed.

Had the country fried steak with eggs (over medium), hash browns, and instead of toast or pancakes I got 2 pieces of french toast. And black coffee. More often than not, this is my go-to. It's delicious

Hit or a miss. Most of the time a miss. Unfortunately had a bad experience where the waitress dropped our food and proceeded to pick it up and serve us or plate. I was shocked. We had to tell her sorry but we need fresh clean food. This is your typical breakfast spot with not much new or savory to offer. I really wish they could spice up the menu a bit.

The pancakes and our watress were the best part. My husband's egg were not cook all the way and they where and yolk was still runny and his country fried steak was over cooked and tough. The hashbrowns were not seasoned and were watery tasting. The scrabbled eggs had no flavor as well and weren't really scrabbled and much as a slab of unflavored eggs. If you like pancakes and burger then I suggest this place just avoid the eggs, country fried steak and hasbrowns unless you have no taste buds.

👍👍 The avocado toast was deliciousness to the second power! A wheat toast with a large fresh tomato slice, huge amounts of creamy avocado, feta cheese, and two sunny side eggs on the side, that I incorporated into my toast. You need to try it! Pat the waitress was very attentive and kind, as all the...
