October
2020.
First
follow-up
visit
after
discharge
from
orthopedics
after
surgery.
I
signed
up
over
the
phone,
still
from
the
hospital.
I
waited
a
long
time
to
answer
the
phone
(the
queue
was
counted),
but
the
registration
itself
was
quick
and
hassle-free,
only
the
day
and
time
range
were
designated.
Today,
there
is
a
queue
of
about
10
people
in
front
of
the
clinic
for
the
orthopedist,
and
another
(shorter)
queue
for
registration
and
other
doctors.
At
the
entrance,
there
is
a
nurse
directing
traffic,
making
sure
that
there
are
not
too
many
people
in
the
waiting
room
and
checking
the
temperature.
The
doctor
is
competent,
as
is
his
assistant,
it
is
clear
that
they
are
a
team
and
are
focused
on
serving
the
waiting
people
as
efficiently
as
possible.
Procedure:
removal
of
the
cast,
preliminary
assessment
of
what
to
do
next,
removal
of
stitches
(at
this
time
the
doctor
issued
a
referral
for
an
X-ray
and
began
accepting
another
patient).
After
returning
from
the
X-ray,
you
enter
the
office
without
waiting
in
a
queue,
the
doctor
determines
the
next
course
of
action
and
when
the
next
check-up
will
take
place.
He
remembered
to
ask
for
leave
and
made
sure
I
received
the
instructions
(and,
above
all,
what
I
must
not
do
so
as
not
to
hurt
myself).
During
registration,
the
date
of
the
visit
and
a
specific
time
were
added
to
the
card
from
the
doctor.
In
total,
from
standing
in
line
at
the
clinic
to
leaving
after
the
visit
and
making
an
appointment
for
the
next
one,
about
an
hour
and
a
half
passed,
which
I
consider
to
be
an
efficient
matter.
Still
to
be
improved:
taking
into
account
that
most
orthopedic
patients
have
leg
problems,
it
would
be
useful
to
be
able
to
lean
on
something
outside
in
the
queue
(e.g.
"squat
benches"
attached
to
the
wall),
and
a
ramp
to
the
entrance
(the
entrance
for
wheelchairs
is
in
the
gate,
but
for
some
people
walking
stairs
are
a
problem).
