New review :the hotel is under construction and prices are too high the Ac and ventilation is very weak their is very discomfort in the rooms this time maybe because of the construction work the dust is remaining inside the rooms . Old review , breakfast and the staff are very well mannered but the gym needs a good servicing and the dollar rate has to be adjusted as per actual its really unfair rate 660 is the rate they are counting it as 500 cfa while you have booked room in dollar it was suppose to be same amount in dollar and the hotel is a bit in lonely location so if you want to move arround it's a bit out of town and no nearby shops or any thing .

This hotel is popular for conferences and weddings. There are some very pleasant lawns and scenary in front of the hotel. When I visited, there were three different wedding entourages, each making use of the facilities to capture some beautiful photographs for remembrance. Each wedding entourage was glamorously adorned in differently styled but impressively stunning garments. It was a captivating and memorable moment! The conference facilities were functional, albeit a little run down. The catering for receptions was very good and generous. The bar at the front of the hotel was very pleasant, although it should be noted that wine is very expensive there and probably best avoided. The hotel had stringent security.

Silimande is one of the best hotels in Ouagadougou when you consider Security. They have a luggage scanner and security guards will perform the body checks with hand scanners. All day and night long you have well armed soldiers patrolling the hotel. During my last stay however, I was a bit disappointed by their service level. It seems they have so much invested in the security that they have started neglecting the service level. To name just a few, you could call the Desk many a time and get no answer. Or come to the desk and see nobody to welcome you. Do not be surprised when at your arrival each of the staff you meet offers to sell you an Orange Sim card for 3000f. But beyond that their restaurant serves good meals and you have very good views on the reserve just in front of the hotel a cross the road. You will enjoy the many early morning rounds of hundreds of birds... And at night you could see the city lights from afar.

You should definitely visit this place it is very welcoming and professional, at anytime when ever you call the reception they will answer and are always there for you needs, the workers or very nice and enthusiastic, the food at the restaurant is very good and affordable, and the best is the rooms they are so big and comfortable. Telling me that the price is reasonable, you live like a king there.

The service was very nice, the pool was beautiful and the food was very good. The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous but the Air Conditioner does not work.... with it on full blast our room stayed around 28°C that is way to hot when it's 106/107°f outside. For the price you pay to stay here the air conditioning situation is just not worth it.

The hotel is located in a serene and quite environnement, with great view of the lake and the park on it sides. The hotel offers airport transfer and the driver will be waiting even if your flight got delayed. The swimming pool currently under rehabilitation and the soft landscape of the hotel should be properly managed to give the complete feel of a resort. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there. Merci

Great place, the people are charming and welcoming

I enjoyed my time there. I have booked accommodation and a meeting room for three days. The staff is friendly and the meals are well cooked. A bit far from the centre but ai consider this an advantage as it is calm and the city centre is just 10 minutes away. Moreover, they have the best seafood pizza

A quiet and secure place in the city of Ouagadougou (northern)! A cool and fresh atmosphere by a reservoir and surrounded with green trees all the year round! A luxuruous, 4-star hotel the city is proud of!

good spacious renewed rooms. excellent breakfast. very good swimmingpool area and bar. unfortunately lots of improvements possible on all other parts of the catering. the food needs vast improvement and is below standards. if they can turn that around they deserve 4 stars.

Very safe establishment especially for expatriates. Friendly hotel staff and the food is very good as well.

Overall are good, just the building is getting older and need some renovation on the certain areas.

Pool is spacious. Seafood pizza is bomb. Tennis courts are lovely, I saw a few local Davis Cup pros training there; asked for a sign!
