The food was good but not exquisite. The bissap and ginger juices were way too watery so very underwhelming in taste. Also, a sign outside the door clearly indicates that smoking is prohibited, yet a man was smoking inside the restaurant and no one told him to stop.

I used to live in Burkina, and I came to Le Verdoyant almost every Sunday. I was young, but my memory of it is still very clear. The waiters were amazing people, great service, and they remembered us so well that they came with my order before I could even say it myself. I always got a pizza Margherita, and it is still one of the best pizzas I have had in my life. It is made in a stone oven, you get to watch it be made.
