More than a simple park, this place is a kind of wild place so suitable for relaxation without being disturbed. Birds are singing so wonderful melodies from everywhere and people really like practicing sport on the roadside as well as on the big playgrounds inside the park. You'll be more than delighted visiting this place. Be the welcome
Very good environment. Quick and fresh.
Amazing spaces to walk around in nature and feel the natural breeze. The animals in the zoo a area are a little bit few so the experience there is short lived. The place is however affordable, infact it's too cheap to the extent that think they should raise the amount a bit if they are to fund the upkeep and maintenance of the place.
Walking through the forest area is wonderful, therapeutic even! 🙂 The animal section, on the other hand, is disheartening. 😞 We had a wonderful guide, but my experience was overshadowed by the animals’ suffering. The hippo had no water, the geese sat in buckets, the monkeys had no trees… The animal section of the park should close down!
This is an extensive city park that reminded me of the Forest Park in my own home town, Portland Oregon in the USA. There are many trails and many places where you can sit quietly alone in the midst of the city. There is a restaurant at the entrance off the Avenue Sankara and another in the center of the park, both quite pleasant with local and European-style dishes and plenty of beer. When I was there, the north-eastern part of the park was closed, with some wildlife visible through the fence. If you are polite and friendly and somewhat generous to the guards, they will take you through the closed area so you can see some wildlife - I saw a variety of antelopes and crocodiles. There is a botanical garden in the north-eastern corner of the park. The gate was open when I was there but no workers in sight. I went though it and it was interesting but not terribly well-maintained. There is a children's amusement park area that appears to be open on Saturdays (?). I mostly just used it as a refuge from the noise and bustle of the city, and it was heavenly.
A huge park to take walks. There are a few animals and birds that you'll enjoy seeing.
Very cool place, If you want to make fresh your mind, I want to suggest you this place but not zoo area, you can to visit forest area. With your family and friends.
Lots of birds, but staff try to over charge for everything such as cameras, dogs, and looking at the caged hippopotamus.
