What a beautiful riad! The hotel was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was fabulous! I could go on and on about the food, actually. Delicious, home cooked, authentic, and still on my mind. This place was unlike any other, and highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf during my trip to Morocco and I must say, it was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. One of the standout features of this hotel was the delicious cookies they served. They were a true highlight of my stay and a lovely touch. The room itself was also wonderful. It was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making for a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend the Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Morocco. The combination of friendly staff, delicious treats, and beautiful rooms make it a top choice for travelers.

Dar Daïf is a beautiful, unique Riad near Ouarzazate with particularly kind and attentive staff and incredible local food prepared on site. The style is authentic Moroccan with original architecture - cosy corners, open terraces, coloured tiles and greenery with the traditional terracotta - it feels warm and welcoming. Thought has gone into every aspect. Very highly recommend!

Best place we’ve stayed in Morocco. The hotel is extremely curated in every aspect, welcoming kit, guardian if you have a car, carpets on the floors of every area in the building make you feel cozy and cuddled. Food-wise they are very thoughtful, being aware of allergies, and also having haccp certification. Rooms are beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Staff was amazing in being gentle and helpful for every need.

If you’re visiting the area, this is a very good place to stop by and rest. The staff is friendly and kind. Avoid the instructions given (the map) as they will lead you directly to tourist traps. Use google maps and you will be just fine.

We had such a great stay at Dar Daïf and only wished we had stayed longer. Hotel is ~15min from the Ouarazate city center. The place is exquisite. The owner has committed 30 years of his life to do the place up and has spared no expenses. Spa treatment was an amazing way to unwind from our travels. Staff was incredibly attentive and cooks prepared Moroccan cuisine at its finest. The owner Jean-Pierre gave us hugely helpful advice for the rest of the stay (with kids don’t visit this, check that place instead, avoid this tourist trap, more authentic here etc). Thanks a ton, we hope to be able to visit again sometime soon

Dar Daif is an absolutely brilliant hotel. It is by far my favourite place to stay in Ouarzazate. The service is amazing and the hotel is full of fascinating artefacts. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and so invested in the community. I wish there were even more stars I could give!

This riad was one of the very good surprises we had in Morocco. The place is simply amazing and the staff was extremely attentive. Before leaving we had the chance to meet the owner, who provided a detailed explanation about which places to visit on our way to Merzouga. The map made by the hotel itself was extremely useful. In case you pass by Ouarzazate, don't miss it...

A true oasis in the area. Excellent staff, super professional and dedicated. Dinner was great and of good value for money. They employ local young women, which are ver professional giving them a chance in a tough environment. It has been one of the best value for money I have stayed and will undoubtedly return.

A very special place meant in the best way possible. You really feel like home from the minute you arrive and are shown to your room. I would really recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ouarzazate.

A wonderful Riad with staff who go above and beyond. Excellent meals and a lovely ambiance. Beautiful terraces and views. Nice to be outside of town and in a small unassuming village. Car preferable.

We really loved our stay at Dar Daif. You get a lot of value for your money. The diner was the best we had so far from the riads we did, tajine with a lot of vegetables and cookies when we arrived and left. Our skin feels like a baby after the gommage and the massage was super relaxing. The room was very luxurious and clean and we loved the rain shower. During the day we could do a little walk in the fields next to the riad and we had a great view on Ouarzazate. The owner of the Riad gave us a lot of tips which made our trip even better. Would highly recommend this riad!

Our experience at Riad da Darif was exceptional. The commitment to authentic Moroccan cuisine and regional sourcing added a unique touch. The staff was notably friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The hamam experience was a standout, providing a relaxing touch to our visit. All in all, a well-rounded and recommendable destination.

The Hotel Dar Dair (kasbah) is extremely beautiful—it felt like my wife and I had just entered a fairytale castle when we stayed there for our honeymoon. The interior courtyard is filled with lush planting and has several water features as well. The views from the upper terraces are excellent. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Upon our departure the owner of the establishment gave us a map and guided us to our next destination (Marrakech). We wished we could have stayed here longer!

Great place. Great interior. Garden area is very peaceful and well cared for. Family suite was large with multiple rooms, balcony. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner made it a point to greet us. He also gave us directions to Aït Benhaddo and a much helpful and better road to Marrakech. Very secure compound. Breakfast was tasty, not overly elegant. Peaked in at the kitchen. It was very clean and professional. Holiday party was awesome! Great music and fun. I would stay here again for sure.

If you happen to visit Ouarzazate or even pass by for a night, you must visit this little old hotel! The place is warm, comfortable and has a special charm to it. A special mention to the staff team whom are kind, attentive, patient and very welcoming to the guests. I would highly recommend you try their exquisite 3-course dinner served in the hotel too, which is reasonably priced and done to perfection (note it has to be pre booked in advance.) The owner also took the time to suggest places to visit and things to do for our remaining journey in the country. This place made our stay really memorable and we cannot find any faults with their service. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous! We loved this place, full of charm and flavours. Everybody is careful, kind and polite. Jean Pierre, the owner, takes time to speak with all his guests and provides good advise to discover the area in the easiest and most local way. Thank you for this wonderful time with you all.

Incredible incredible little gem! Worth staying here for not just one night but couple of nights. The staff deserve a particular mention who are welcoming and so so polite. The hotel facilities and breakfast were great. Definitely worth a stay and you won’t regret

Dar Diaf is our Moroccan place what we are visiting almost always, when we are in Morocco, around once or twice a year. Morocco without Dar Diaf, wouldn't be possible. We highly recomend to visit for dinner and overnight. You will be in love. Real hospitality, highest level.

An amazing place. A unique test, combining an exceptional warm welcoming, unique food as if it was coming from the home of a traditional family and an atmosphere of 10001 nights. The best opening for the Moroccan Deseret.

A magnificent Kasbah and very well located in a very quiet area. Great for resting and recharging your batteries. 15min walk to the center of Ouarzazate. You have bus 2 which passes in front of the Kasbah if you don't like to walk for only 4Dh per person. The Kasbah is very beautiful with an interior garden that makes you dream. The rooms are spacious and incredibly well decorated, we find the Moroccan touch in the architecture.

Room was quite dark, AC didn't work ( I think due to a power outage). Food was awesome, staff brilliant, the pool and house itself is gorgeous.

👍👍 We didn't stay here but visited on the recommendation of our tour company and what a lovely place it is. Definitely a highlight of our Morocco trip. Our driver had never been and was very happy that we'd introduced him to it. A lush oasis and some lovely food overlooking the river.
